He glanced across the room, and then looked back at Bole as he returned to an upright position. "What do you have?" he asked with an upward nod, meaning the proposition that was brought up.

His expression changed again.

He was mentally accessing the man's personal motivations, because there were always some in this sort of deal; and also assessing whether or not the man was truly serious or out for some other cause. "Let it be known that I agree with what's been said about the Cult; and also let it be known that if you are sincere about your beliefs, which I believe you are, then I am on board with assisting in a plan to remove Borr from office," he continued. "In doing so, however, I will earn my own power, ...as well as--an allegiance with you?"
Upon hearing that Bole believed Alexander could step up and take on the Minister role, the Senior Undersecretary turned his gaze back to the man across the table. "I'm assuming that you've already lined out a plan?" he asked. "So what is it? What are we looking at here?"

"Its in motion." He agreed, and leaned forward to outline the plan in a low voice, not quite trusting the silencing charms.
Paranoia. He had it.
