A bit confused on the plot? Seen some mysterious happenings going on and curious as to what it's all about? What in the world is going on in the Ministry of Magic RPG? Here's where you can catch up on all the happenings around the Ministry of Magic. If you have something to add that relates to employees in general, mysterious happenings around the Ministry, and isn't a personal roleplay, please feel free to post about it in here. Double posting is okay in this space. There definitely is a place to post all about your personal roleplays, though! Those type discussions can go here, in the Wizarding World Chat.

Remember that this thread is OOC knowledge only unless your character heard this information from others or witnessed the actual event, your character doesn't know about it.

What do I do if there's no activity or plotting in my department?
It's possible that there may not be a plot or organized roleplay happening in your department each and every day. What we're hoping is that you'll take the opportunity to create your own roleplays (within reason), whether they be work-related or something personal to your character. Nothing happening on your level? Then roleplay something happening! No drama or nothing to take part in? Create something! There's many different threads in your department and around the Ministry that you're free to explore and create roleplays in! You are also encouraged to contact your department head with ideas and concepts!

HELLO! It's me, your favorite Ministry stalker/reporter! Here with an important update on the probable kidnapping and who knows what else of Alexa Cambridge, Head of Department of Magical Law Enforcement!

Which means the show was starting. The heat increase was especially noticeable the closer to the star attraction you are. A few other details also signaled that the plant of the hour was starting to bloom.

The red ‘skirt’ of the plant began to fold down looking very much like a deep red and glistening, a raw steak. Oddly enough, the chemicals produced by the corpse flower vary in range. At first, you may smell the faint scent of jasmine. But soon, pungent smells begin filling the room.

Perhaps to you it smells like a funky cheese? Rotting garlic? The Sulphur of rotten eggs?

The defendant has been charged with multiple counts of theft during the Quidditch World Cup, one count of illegal tempering of a bludger during the Quidditch World Cup final match, multiple counts of illegal gambling, multiple counts of selling stolen goods, multiple counts of identity theft from the Department of International Magical Cooperation including passports and visas, multiple counts of distributing personal identifying information for unlawful purpose with Azkaban escapees still at large, the kidnapping of Alexa Cambridge, and for the orchestration of the mass breakout at Azkaban Prison which resulted in the serious injury of many of this governments citizens and the death of Clementine Harper." He paused to take a breath as he recalled the elderly witch who had run the now destroyed butterbeer cart on the South Side of the Alley. "...the death YATI Bradley Spooner, several missing persons, and amassing over 25,000 galleons worth of damages and stolen earnings from the establishments and residents of Diagon Alley." Charles paused yet again to take a breath and then shifted his piercing yet foggy blue eyes over to Roller again. "How do you plead?"

It was clear what had been happened: the floo networks had once again failed, exploded, and ejected used floo powder and ash.

At least that would soften the blow some, but she wasn't going to make a fuss about his dismissing her. She was much more dignified than that.

Though the man had little time to dwell on his annoyance with golem situation and instead his icy blue eyes drifted down to the wand in his hand. "I will attend to the rest on my way out. I expect everything back on the shelves and recatalogued by the end of the day if you lot expect to keep your jobs."

As for the rock golem itself and why it was here, he cared not. The wand in his possession could make quick work of anything else that may manifest itself here. A wand he had every intention of keeping for himself. No need to hand it over to Lucien now. The wand was his own.

"Get to it," he growled, snapping his head around as a final warning to the assembled Unspeakables before beginning his exit and brandishing his wand here and there to repair any other shattered orbs that may be on the floor.

As he had been warned, it seemed someone was still here, despite it be being late and dark outside. He unlocked the door and stepped inside. "Hello?" he called. If someone was here, it was perhaps best that he announce his presence and keep this as official as possible.

She shook her head and met his eyes again, the dark eyes she'd known for years. "No. The mission must go on as planned. It's for the greater good!" she insisted, her own voice growing emotional.

"Give me the wand." But...if it answered only to him...
