Text Cut: Extra-Curricular FAQ
Are there OWL/NEWT equivalents for the extra-curricular classes?
The extra-curricular classes would still have school exams and other ways of measuring student mastery, but there wouldn't be OWL/NEWT equivalents. Just the Hogwarts core (Charms, DADA, etc.) and elective (Ancient Runes, Divination, etc.) classes would have OWL/NEWTs. The classes on this spreadsheet are there to further your character's knowledge, appeal to their interests, give some pre-university/field background, etc.
