The Sorting Hat for the Spring SnitchSeeker Hogwarts term has NOW opened and will close on April 3rd at 12:01am EST. The Rules:
1) You must be a registered member of Snitchseeker.com. To sign up, Register here.
2) You must be in the "Members" usergroup. That means you need to have at least 10 legitimate, non-spam posts (any spam will be deleted by the mods and will NOT count toward your 10 posts) in the Newbie Hut or News forum. ( Note: once you have achieved your 10 posts, it may take up to half an hour for your usergroup to change so, please be patient).
3) You may only be sorted once so, do not attempt to submit to be sorted if you are already in a house.
4) Please be courteous to our sorting staff and do not pester them as to when you will be sorted. We have hundreds of people submit to be sorted every term and we sort each and every person individually, by hand (we do not have an automated system). You will receive a PM shortly after you are sorted, although it may take up to a day after you've seen your usergroup change for it to show up.
5) We try hard to be fair and place people into appropriate houses. Please do not whine, complain, send us hate mail or beg us to change your house. (We can't sort everyone into Gryffindor). Sorting Hat decisions are final.
6) Have fun!!! We look forward to seeing new faces in the School RP!!!

Okay, I feel like screaming random expletives! I was sorted into Slytherin a week ago and now it's changed to Hufflepuff! My character is one that would do best in Ravenclaw or Slytherin and I know the Sorting quiz showed that. This is so frustrating. I've already Pmed someone on it and am waiting for a reply at the moment. I really hope they straighten this out.

i don't get this. how do you get sorted? it says i have to have 10 posts, and i have about 8 or 9. do you have to answer questions or is it automatic? hmmm.
Post #2: i bet i sound really stupid, but i don't get this. it says you need 10 posts, but whenever i try to make a post it says that i can't. how am i ever going to get sorted??? ahhh
Post #3: does anyone have any suggestion or advise? i'm not very good with computers and this isn't letting me post anywhere except here.

You need to be in the 'Members' (light blue name) usergroup before you can take the sorting quiz. After you get your two, legitimate, non-spam, posts in the Newbie Hut or News forum, you may have to wait up to 20 min for the site to recognize your new status. Please be patient.
2)There was a glitch in the system but, I've moved you to the right group so you can post now.
3)Please don't double and triple post. This is against the rules. I suggest you check out the Rules and FAQ (link at the top of every page) for more information, then spend time in the Newbie Hut.
