The Ministry of Magic RPG Reopens With an Employee Orientation!
 

After a much-needed holiday break, the Ministry of Magic is re-opening its doors to all employees, new and returning! However, this time we're doing something a bit different. We're not opening the entire MoM all at once. Instead, we're going to open with an Employee Orientation for all new and returning employees!

The Orientation will feature fun and exciting IC events, such as:

- Swag Bag FREEBIES!
- A raffle for IC prizes
- A 'getting to know you' game, in which you have to RP to figure out things like--Who can speak fluent troll around here?
- Food, of course!
- Guided Tours (you can give a tour or get a tour)
- ...and much, much more!

In character, the Orientation takes place in a large room inside the Atrium on level eight. It'll stay open from about 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Again, this is in-character time.

Out-of-character, you can reach the Orientation by clicking here. We'll have the Orientation open for about five days OOC time, and then we'll open the Ministry as a whole.

If you applied for a position this placement period and have yet to receive notification of which department your character was placed in, please PM Anna Banana.

You must be placed in a department in the MoM RPG in order to RP at the Employee Orientation. If you missed this placement period, we'll have another in about three more months.

You know, I've thought and thought about this, and I'm not 100% sure the Orientation is optional (IC-wise, I mean). I know at all the places I've worked at in the past (included where I work now), we had to go to Orientation as a part of our job expectations.

So while participation isn't required OOC, I think maybe your character's motivation might be that this is his JOB, and his boss invited him to this. ;)

I was actually wondering that myself xDD
But since I didn't see anything saying that it was optional or not, I just thought it'd make more sense if someone dragged him along xD

It's come to my attention here recently that some of you are having an issue with your posts at the Employee Orientation coming up as moderated posts that need approval rather than already-approved posts. We're looking into this and will hopefully come up with a solution soon!

In the meantime, I apologize for the inconvenience and that fact this is affecting some of you RPing at the Orientation.
