Server Busy Errors (UPDATED)
 

SnitchSeeker has been experiencing an over-abundance of "server busy" errors today. The errors will tell you that you've run into Peeves and to count down from 10 before refreshing your browser. Too many refreshes all the time will contribute to this error appearing even more frequently which is why it asks that you wait a moment before doing so.

The technical team is aware of the problem and hopes to have it resolved soon. In the meantime, you may try using the "SS Lite" skin which is less graphics-intensive and so less of a drain on the server and also less likely to give you Peeves messages.

There may be brief intervals of site down time as we work to fix the problem and we'll update this thread when the problem is resolved.

Thanks for the info. Mine seems to have stopped since I got a database error message, but I'm not going to jinx it. Thanks agaiiiin and good luck (or... whatever it is I can sayyyyyy that doesn't involve luck... oh yes...) Complete faith in the elves ^_^

I must admit to having panic attacks this afternoon when I couldn't get anything to work. :lol:

So far it's working for me,maybe Peeves finally went to pick on someone else,lol.

I'm still getting it every once in a while, but the Peeves message is a lot less frequent than it was this morning ...I'll switch to SS Lite anyway though. ^_^ Thanks a ton Site Elves. :glomp:

Peeves is sporadically cornering me, but it is MUCH better than earlier today!

It makes me laugh when i read it yesterday, i thought SS banned me but i realized it was only a joke because the mentioning of Peeves the Poltergeist. =)

Thanks for the information.. I was wondering if it was my fault that I ran into Peeves frequently yeasterday.. Now it has stopped it seems and i'm very happy because i couldn't get on at all yeasterday.. So thank you our super tech team for your hard work.
