Just a reminder to our new and unsorted members: the time has almost arrived for our next Sorting! Any member who has earned their 10 legitimate posts to get out of the Newbie Forum will be qualified to be Sorted. (Note: those who spam out of Platform 9 3/4 will have their quiz submissions deleted without notice and will be returned to the Newbie usergroup).

I just have one small question regarding sorting, and thought this would be the best place to ask;
I understand that all members who are not sorted already will have the chance to get sorted following August 12th, but how does this occur? Will the quiz get messaged to us privately, or will it be up on a forum, or what?
On a side note// ahh, I can't wait until we find out what houses we're in! Good luck to everyone else getting sorted this month, and I really hope you all get the houses you desire!

To add to what Zephyr has alredy said. There will be site notices all over the board and on the front page with links to the sorting quiz. So you won't miss if you keep an eye out. The sorting quiz in itself is a questionnaire which you reach by clicking the sorting quiz link. The questionnaire consists of questions about the character you will play in the school rpg. To be prepared then start thinking already about your character is it a she/he, background, personality etc.

Besides searching for the Magic Quill Challenge, I believe that being sorted by the Sorting Hat into the 4 houses is the next BIG thing. I can't wait to be sorted. I'm slightly partial to Gryffindor and I hope that I get sorted into that house. But if not, I'll be more than happy to be sorted into any of the other houses. I've met many people on here from the various houses and they all seem very nice, so I know that I'll feel comfortable wherever the Sorting Hat places me.

[#] You have to be active for 7 terms
[#] You have to have 2 posts from those 7 terms in any classes
[#] You need to get a recommendation from staff Most people who get resorted do that because they want to try a different house and wants to play a character which has a personality and background that fits better in another house.
