Those who apply must be fluent in the language and must be active on SnitchSeeker. An understanding of the SnitchSeeker Rules is required. All candidates will be considered, but only a certain number can be accepted.
The language positions are:
Greek
Irish
Those wanting to apply should PM me, Cristygen, stating which language role they are applying for.
If you don't want to become a Mod, why not head over to the Department anyway? Who knows, you might even learn a new language! [/plug]

OOOOHHH!! How nice. The international forums truly are fun. I would apply if I knew how to speak Greek and Gaelige. Ha. Which is why we need some Language Mods and peeps to make it more active... so then I can learn!!! =D Especially since I only know two languages and I wanna learn more. Heh heh.
I encourage everyone who can speak one of these languages to apply! (I'm not in any of the forums because I speak only English - definitely need to explore my horizons and these forums might be a very good place to start.)

Good luck to everyone applying!
On a side note regarding Languages: Anyone interested in a Vietnamese forum? If so, PM me!

How well do you know Irish though? Because if you've done it for that many years, are you able to at least read and write it?
And yes, I agree with Angie and Claudia and anyone else who said this: You should totally apply for this opportunity, if eligible, of course!

Greek is very hard as I know and very stupid language. I think there shouldn't be a Language Operator for that language
As a Gryffindor, I should think you'd relish a challenge. While Greek may be a difficult language to learn (I wouldn't know, as I've never actually looked into Greek... my 'to learn' list is really long already.) it's surely worth the effort!
I know quite a few people on SS are putting their all into learning difficult foreign languages. And for those who are already bilingual (or even trilingual or mooooore), I commend your dedication to learning. And good luck to everyone who applies for these positions!
