| | |  February Event Winners plus MORE!
The second month of 2011 brought us a number of events to keep us on our toes throughout the month. We began by celebrating the 9th birthday of our beloved site, then followed with a sitewide invasion, courtesy of Lavender Brown.
Now that we've removed Lavender regained control, we can announce the winners for both events. Firstly, the Birthday Event winners: - we asked you to provide a banner for our main Deathly Hallows layout, and recieved some great entries. I can now announce that the creator of the winning banner (that's the one that's in RIGHT NOW!) is sweetpinkpixie!
- we also asked you to rewrite our slogan, and after asking Laveneder Brown for a final pick, we can announce that 'Let Your Magic Run Wild', also composed by sweetpinkpixie has been chosen!
Later on in the month, Valentine's Day came and brought three more events: - Lavender arranged a Scavenger hunt, and would like to congratulate the following members:
1st Place - michkirszanelee
2nd Place - Jeyn<33
3rd Place - sweetpinkpixie
- There was also an unlikely couples event (which Lavender had gone to so much effort to make them difficult). However, a winner was found, and I'm able to announce them as hrmy_lver_4evr! Lavender also asked me to say that michkirszanelee and fanficfanatict were deserving of a very honourable mention!
- Lastly, in the spirit of Valentine's Day, Lavender asked you to create a recipe for the best love potion. After several tests on a variety of subjects, Lavender can proudly announce that the most effective recipe was created by GlassXRose!
Congratulations to all the event winners, and thank you to all those who helped make these events the best they could be.
