The tapping is inaudible at first, not quite reaching your ears as you go about your morning routines. Yet as you step into the kitchen to get your morning coffee, you can feel eyes on your back, boring into you in an obviously angry way. Uneasy, you set down the coffee mug and turn toward the window, fully expecting some dark wizard to be standing there ogling you. What your gaze finds is a very obviously unhappy barn owl, sitting on your windowsill with its face pressed against the glass pane.
Be careful when you take your paper, and maybe consider tipping the delivery owl. After all, angry owls can be extremely mean.

Someone was up to no good ;D
I'm just RPing everything so I will not bother leaving Charley mode
Charley opened the window, then stroked the owl as she grabbed the newspaper, placing it on the table behind her. She petted the owl for a couple of minutes, then took some treats from the family's pantry, setting them on the sill along with the price of the newspaper.
