I don't feel like a single point is worth it when its such a battle to get one and I resent the idea that writing MORE is more worthy of points than writing constructively and being truly engaged. I liked it better when they were handed out more freely because it was actually less stressful and mattered less so you could have fun while you earned them... whereas when they are so few and far between you get to choose if you want to have fun and RP in character, or tweak your posts to get the maximum amount of points from an ooc perspective which I don't think is in the best interest of the RP. Going to a ton of effort for 5 points? nahhh no thanks
edit: that's also why I totally dig the current house points situation  Makes it way more fun when the numbers are bigger.

Idk im always a fan of tournament type plots lol. Like the IMPS or triwizard tournament or the EBSQ-someotheracronymsicantremember ... and yea i get that they can't happen ALL the time , but still like them when they do come around

My favorite plot to help facilitate is a toss up between the happy ice cream with dementors or the acromantula invasion.
As a student...I think for me it's either the Cult crossover or DeTalone and her time orb or ... and I can't recall the entity's name at the moment...but the one that gave us the plant that ate Burbage and Shaw and we defeated it bt gathering together all the felines in the castle. Kurumi's cat peed on it 
I've personally never been a fan of the competition plots myself. Though the Triwizard plot of term 26 was my first on site and holds a special place in my RPer heart

Meanwhile, Dementors (Theo-West hugging each other on the pitch!) and glee!ice cream was definitely one of my faves, with the turnstile thing! So much fun! #GettingSSOld

My favourite plot has been the Inferi because I like how it changed Daisy's personality. She still does care but she has hardened up a bit. I look forward to Daisy's final year at Hogwarts next term. My goodness, she is the first character that I've roleplayed for "seven years."
