So, friends, I'm contractually obligated to remind everyone that the ONLY pets allowed at Hogwarts (and in the dorms) are the traditional magical pets: an owl, cat, rat, toad, or pygmy puff.
All other desired pets must be approved by both Headmaster Malachi Trent and Care of Magical Creatures professor William W. Williamson, who have the right to refuse any pet based on their Ministry classification and whether or not the animal is appropriate to be present at the school.
To ask for permission, you can PM me and I'll run it by Headmaster Trent, who would like to know, and I quote, "why (your student) should be made above the law and what makes them qualified" for their special pet. 
IF you already brought a pet on the train, don't worry. We'll deal with it IC at the feast or after. 
....and yes, this applies to my student character as well. Lol. THOUGHT TO BE FAIR, the crups aren't hers to keep or carry around. Ahem.
