An owl lands near your plate and drops a sealed envelope on your breakfast. You break the seal to find the latest issue of the SS Quill. We hope you enjoy Issue 11 as much as you enjoy the elf-made breakfast!

The Closing Feast is over, your trunks are packed and you're ready to go home. Some of you may be reluctant to leave, while the others are more than happy to return to their own beds and families. However, before that you'll have to endure the long train-ride to Kings Cross, so be sure to grab a copy of the latest issue of the Quill to read in case you get bored!
Happy Holidays, Hogwarts students, and see you next term!

As you settle into your compartments on the Hogwarts Express, an owl comes hooting through the corridor to drop off the latest issue of The Quill. This is a surprise! We've never had an issue released as soon as we got on the train before, but you take it anyway to relieve the poor bird of it's burden. Besides, it's free!
Brought to you by the Quill Team,
Enjoy the new term!

With the complications roused by the segregation of Hogwarts into Coopers School for Young Wizards and Belle's School for Young Witches, The Quill team have had to work hard to find a way to bring this month's issue to you. We remain, the HOGWARTS Quill, but with all the restrictions imposed on us all by the new administration, we have had to be extra careful with the way we release this paper.
So... do not call attention to the fact that page 394 of your copy of A History of Magic does not depict the bloody battle between the Mountain Trolls of the North and South. We've sprinkled a little magic to insert 12 extra pages to show up there... the 12 pages of this month's Quill release.
Enjoy in private!
Pass on the secret to those who do not make it a habit to regularly check their textbooks.

| The Quill, Issue 15 Nabs!Ama | | The Happy Hufflepuff A flurry of school owls fly over the four tables in the Great Hall as you're having your breakfast. You see that they are all carrying identical thick rolls of parchment, sealed with a wax seal bearing the image of a Quill incorporated over the Hogwarts coat of arms.
One of the barn owls land in front of you, right between the bowl of porridge and the overflowing plate of sausages. It holds its leg out for you to unfasten the parchment, and as soon as you do it takes flight again.
Read it now, read it later or don't bother reading it at all. You are now holding the latest issue of the Quill - Hogwarts own student publication. Click on the Owl Post image to download the latest issue, or click this link. |

| Quill, Issue 16 Nabs!Ama | | The Happy Hufflepuff The harried owl taps on your window over the summer, it's feathers ruffled and tied to it's leg you see a roll of parchment with a familiar logo of a Quill over the Hogwarts crest. It's been a while, but the 16th issue of the Hogwarts Quill has finally arrived!
It's a little old, the stories out of date... but as if a pensieve, it serves it's purpose of reminding the staff and students of Hogwarts of past happenings in the school. This particular issue bears tales of term 21, in the year 20667-2069.
Whether you decide to read it or not, it's free and the owl is most definitely not going to take it back to wherever it came from! Don't forget to pass it on once you're done reading and reminiscing.

Hogwarts RPG Name: TBD Gryffindor Hogwarts RPG Name: Zara H. Bunbury-Foster Slytherin Fifth Year | Professor Pink | Mrs. Bruce Wayne | I'm on a Goat | Glitterpuff | Dumbledore's Defense Squad | BHB As you put down your fork and settle back into your seat at the end of the feast, you can't help but whip your head around at the sudden swoooooshing sound echoing through the Great Hall. What's that, a flock of owls? Dropping scrolls onto students' heads?
You happen to catch one of the pieces of parchment and lo and behold, it's a new version of the Quill! Yes indeed, your faithful student journalists and staff advisers have worked diligently over the summer to give you a wrap-up of Term 22's wet adventure and even coverage of a few saddening events from the summer.
Unfold the issue now, save it for a bit of bedtime reading back in the common room, or use it for fireplace tinder -- it's your choice. But savvy Hogwartians know reading is the key to success, after all, so we'd suggest absorbing every last drop of this superb student publication.
