there should be like a FUND RAISING contest between houses. Everytime the students gets income they just pass the correct link to their head of the house. So that the heads of each house can sum up everything in the end.
It sounds kinda complicated, isn;t it???

(Just think about all the Mary-Sues who have such a great talent at singing.)

Although it's not mentioned in the books, I'm pretty sure Hogwarts would organize some sort of graduation ceremony, like every school. Since there's a Sorting ceremony, it would only be fair to have some sort of farewell for the seventh years. So I'd like to suggest a 'Graduation Ceremony' thread within the school RPG-it doesn't have to be something big and time-consuming for the mods, just a tiny little thread.  *begs*

I have the beginning of an idea for that actually but I'm just going to let it grow a little ;] I actually think musical instruments could tie into Charms class...Perhaps there could be a lesson or two about properly charming musical instruments to play certain songs by themselves...
I wasn't trying to take away from your idea, I promise. I'm a musician myself...and I'd be excited to see something like this come to Hogwarts!

XD I don't know if this SHOULD be a suggestion, but it came to mind;
A hogwarts reunion. Where past characters could come back, maybe give a speech to the current students, "stay in school" XD That kind of thing...
...And of course, something freaky happens, like they get transformed back into their student selves or something XD (I know my blind charrie would like to come back, even though it's only been three terms since she graduated.)

Not to burst your idea, but "graduations" as such only happen when you leave university in the UK. You don't have a big ceremony when you leave Secondary school or Sixth Form (Hogwarts is the equivalent of these two stages in British education). You just kinda... leave. 'Course we have a "Leavers' Assembly" but it's not really a "graduation ceremony".
SS does have the Memory Book though. That kind of gets used like a "graduation ceremony" in some ways. I love that thread, and I think a thread to RP a graduation ceremony that doesn't happen in the UK would take away from the memory book thread.
But hey. That's just my two cents.

Hoooowever, it would not be held at Hogwarts. Magical creatures suddenly overwhelm the Forest and start coming onto the grounds...some dangerous, some not, and have to have Magic Creatures Ministry people come.
(And no, I did not suggest because of my Ministry character, I have been thinkning of this for a while, just never voiced it)
