Ern i love the IC Most Best Awards. that's what they were called in our yearbook, there was Most likely to succeed, and all that good stuff, but on here we could have:
Most Points EArned for their house
Most Active
Least Active
(^^those would be only in the school RP only not on the whole site) and i can't think of anymore

^ I think by "quill post" she means she's a writer for the school paper, The Quill, and that's what she covers.... I dunno, though....

&& I like the Most Points and Most Active Award ideas, but I don't think Least Active would work too well, 'cause there are lots of people who register on SS and get sorted, but they never stick around and RP....

The IC Awards idea is great!

Here's an idea that can fly: a wacky tabloid newspaper (like the Quibbler). The articles can range from the absurd to the truth, thus adding some humor and a bit more HP cannon to the school RP.

It can be set up as a separate thread in the school RP (unlike the Quill) and have a zany name like "The Dustbin" (just an idea). It can start off small with a handful of creative writers who can write a smattering of sensational stories (and help promote the plot when needed).

I laik this idea now.

A yearbook would be rather nice, and I believe Hogwarts does have them. I could do pictures too!

alright in the SS Hogwarts Haven Forum i have started a thread for the Most and Best people, nominate them please! lol... even tho the awards would probably be given out at the end of term, but still! and is there any way to figure out who is the most active RPer in the school RPG?

How about some new places to RP? I'm not saying we don't have enough, we have plenty, I'm just saying 'cause I've been all over the place already and maybe we can try some new places like a darker corridor in the hallways.. or a plain by the grounds, perfect for snow fights in the winter.. or a foresty area at the grounds, somewhat like the forbidden forest, but where one is allowed to go, I'm not so creative to find these ideas, just a suggestion

I think it would be cool to have a Head Girl and a Head Boy that way it would give more people a chance to become a prefect instead of the same people having mutiply charries that just keep the badge they can attain to being head boy or girl and passing on their badge to someone else.

^ Actually, you can no longer pass your badge on to new charries. Once Cale graduates, the badge is being passed on to another Gryffie boy, regardless of the fact that my next charrie is a boy as well As much as I'll miss it, I think it's a great idea because I don't want to hog it and everyone deserves an opportunity to become a prefect So, because of this, a Head Girl and Head Boy isn't really necessary and might just add confusion to the RP.

Well hello there. This thread is inactive. I have many ideas in my head for plots. This suggestion isn't for a specific plot, but for plots in general. I found it more fun in my 2 years on snitchseeker that when things happen TO the school itself, it's more fun than only several people get involved with other people. It's the big ones where it affects everyone RP'ing, like a flood, that are lots of fun. That's it.

I totally agree with you Rubindo. And the big plots are also a great way for people to have their charies interact with other peoples charies they normally would not. Thus making the RP experience fun for even those who did not come to snitchseeker with their freinds. I.E : I got involved in the RP school in college. It's not something I feel comfortable sharing with my freinds there.

What I may like to see along these lines is mabe a giant Earthquake slowly tearing the school apart due to a curse of some sort that the students and professors have to figure out what it is and how to put an end to it.

I just kind of want to know where the evil is. Are we going through a period of peace? Also I agree with what the others said about big plots that cause everyone to get involved. Can't we have like an outbreak of some sort and random charries can be pmed letting them know they have been chosen to be contaminated or what not. The professors and ministry members could try frantically to brew a cure before the contamination becomes fatal to the students. Ministry workers could even be infected. I donno I'll be back with a better idea.

I agree with you two, I find the big plots good too.

Here's a few ideas I've had, I was thinking it would be cool to get everyone involved in a plot, so how about some sort of outbreak happens in the school, everyone starts getting some sort of illness and no one knows why it is spreading.

Also I was thinking that the flood was kind of good, but I was thinking a few days ago what would happen if the magic spell that stops Muggles seeing the place disappears and a few muggles accidently see the place and before more people see it, everyone has to try and find out what's gone wrong.

And the last for now, I was thinking how about the bludgers go crazy and start smashing up the place, that and all the house elves disappear and then there's more mayhem, like lessons getting disturbed and so on and everyone has to try and figure out why this is happening.

What if something causes certain people to start loosing their magical abilities? Like, it starts with spells not working right, to not being able to do magic at all. It could be of something the others have suggested, like an illness or a curse or something. and everyone works to figure out what is wrong.

I am really eager to see what these new professors will bring...I hear we are getting some centaur professors next term perhaps some tension between magical creatures and wizards is in order? *flash backs to Umbridge being carried away by centaurs*

because I am madly inlove with Sirius and I love mysteries and crime novels...perhaps some high level criminal could have escaped and is somewhere in Hogwarts...we could all play with the dementors

Hmm, I think it's safe to say that most people, including myself, are pretty psyched for a big plot to happen to the school. I didn't get to RP during the term with the flood, but that sounds like it would have been great. Disasters and stuff like that. Anyway, this sort of plot where everyone in the school in affected would be my preference, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Something disastrous here:: Pogrebin...what I mean by bringing up these evil stalk-and-try to eat-you creatures is we should have them show up in CoMC OR break-out of the CoMC classroom...you know wreak havoc on the school...try and eat students...

That or an infestation of evil little Pixies....or have Dragons show up something in the XXXX or up caliber
