Not sure of the rules? Need a hand figuring out what you are and are not allowed to do? After you take a look at the Diagon Alley rules thread, and the SS Site rules, if you still have questions about the Diagon Alley RPG, please feel free to ask them here and one of the Diagon Alley Shopkeepers or an RP moderator will answer it as soon as possible.

I want to ask especially about gringotts. I've already assign for a new vault. Can I change some of the details? I mean, I wanna change the charries who can access my vault.

Try PMing a Gringotts shopkeeper and they will let you know if you need to do it IC or if out of character is okay

You can see who the Gringotts people are by looking in the welcome post of the Gringotts RP forum.

Well you can do that one of two ways. You can RP it out, which we like because we like rping

or you can just shoot one of us a PM just requesting the changes you want to make.

In knockturn alley, can you double post? I wanted to know that because I want to go to twilfit and tattings again, but I was the last post, and it was two days ago. Also, do you have to sign up for a diagon alley charrie or can you just make one up without all that?

I'm not sure about the KA, but you don't need to sign up for DA character. Just make one up & you can RP straight away.

You're never allowed to double post. The only case where double posting is okay is in places like announcement threads, or if it is a mod providing information of some sort, but in general you can't double post.

I suggest editing your post instead or asking someone else to play there too.

And do you mean shopkeepers or just general characters? Shopkeepers are chosen by me, you can't apply for those. But you can play any general character current to the timeline, as well as your ministry character at any time, and your school character ONLY when the term is not in session.

So you can just drop in with a character whenever? No template? And will the character appear on our side profile, or only for owners, etc?

Pretty much

Just keep in mind that the current timeline for all SS RPGs is set in 2075 so there won't be any Harry Potter running around

For your character to appear on your side profile, you need to edit them into your profile. Also, please keep in mind that school aged kids really shouldn't be running around Diagon Alley. They should be in school

I was wonder how to be part of the Daily Prophet, and the Gringotts. Is it the same way to get into them as being a shopkeeper?

Gringotts is the same, The Daily Prophet is different. Members can apply to be apart of the Prophet when positions are available, either as a writer or photographer. If any positions become available, they'll be announced in the site notices. I'm not sure of the process, but I do know you have to have a writing or graphic sample depending on the position your applying for.

Actually I heard that this is being changed now. I'm sure we'll hear more about it soonish.

Which means the School Yearbook is the only publication on SS that takes applications.

Just a reminder, please don't answer questions in here unless you are a shopkeeper, a school staffer or a Dept Head, in other words, someone who has access to the relevant information and can answer questions correctly and with more detail.

Do feel free to PM or VM someone if they ask a question and don't get an answer though.

How come there isn't the gateway between The Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley? Am I aloud to post my character getting into Diagon Alley via the gateway in another area after posting how they arrived? Like from The Floo Network Stations?

How your character shows up in Diagon Alley is entirely up to you. There are Floo Network stations in the Leaky Cauldron that you can use, or you can just pretend that they passed through the gateway - most people tend to choose this option

Go to the SS homepage and scroll all the way down to the bottom where the School RP has a mini feature. You should see the current house points listed along with the dates for the upcoming term and when the current one will end.
