I have a feeling I saw a rule related to this before but I can't find it now. Is it alright to RP your charrie's parents as well as your charrie in DA?

You're more than welcome to do so, however please make sure you make it clear who you are RPing, either with a change of font colour or with a divider of some sort and be sure that you're focusing more on RPing and interacting with other people's characters than simply amongst your own. (think RP not fanfic and you'll be fine)

Are we allowed to go to Olivander's even if already 'got' a wand last term?

Yes you can go to Ollivanders as many times as you want, but you need to fill out the wand quiz and RP getting your wand each and every time. However, it would mean your character doesn't have a wand anymore for whatever reason, maybe because it broke so keep that in mind. It wouldn't be appropriate to do it more than once a term though and most witches and wizards would be very careful with their wands, so they wouldn't often need replacing.

If you just want a different wand, you can simply make one up and add it to your profile.

can i open a boutique in Diagon Alley it would all fashions for a witch or wizard

should our charries be employed at the Ministry or at the DA to be a regular there? or they could be like, financially independent and just carry conversations or pester do some biz at Gringotts?

We already have a shop for that :yes: but if you are asking if you can become a shopkeeper well than dahling anything is possible! But for now everything is fully staffed, but be on the lookout if anything changes and just have fun! :glomp:

Yes to post in the Ministry other than in the visitor thread you need to be employed there, however you don't have to be employed in DA to post regularly in there. Though when the school term begins you can only post your adult characters :)

Well we don't have a system to keep track of nor distribute money. It's all up to you and who your character is to determine how much money you have. However there is a limit on how much you can withdraw from your account according to canon limits.

Absolutely not! You are more than welcome to visit any shop you'd like, without having to visit Gringotts first (though personally, I encourage taking a peek in Gringotts. They've got a pretty neat quiz in there! :whistle:). It's entirely up to you and where you want to post. ;)

Nothing bad is going to happen, no worries! At most, if there was a problem, a shopkeeper or general DA staff member (teal people) would PM you to explain and nudge you in the right direction.

Just be sure to check out our Diagon Alley rules, and you'll do fine. :D

Not at all! Gringotts is simply one of the many places you can visit in Diagon Alley. You are in no way required to post there or even have an account there. It is completely optional for all characters - Ministry, Hogwarts, Daily Prophet, and Diagon Alley. :)

i'm so confused!i just got sorted,school starts at the 30th and i have no idea what to do now!do i go to diagon alley to acquire what i need for school?how do i pay?and generally what do i do now?!please help!

No that you have been sorted you are able to play your character in Diagon Alley, you can go to Gringotts to withdrew some money from the goblins, then shop and make friends till your character's feet want to drop off!

Roleplay is just game of imagination, where we all work together to help shape each others stories! In Diagon Alley you will find shopkeepers who are more than happy to help you along!

I am new, and haven't RPed in years. Um I was wondering where do i get a character profile template and where do I post it, also do i have to post my character profile before I start RPing? or can I just jump in? do I have to post a pic of my character somewhere?

You can jump in wherever you like. We don't require a profile or even a picture at all to RP, its very easy going here on SS and we cater for all levels of RPers. There is a place to post a profile if you wish, that is the SS Hogwarts Haven.

If you go into your user cp and under networking, select group memberships, you will see a list of joinable fan clubs. Scroll down until you see ~Fan Club: School RPG Addicts and join that group. Once you get approved you'll be able to access the SS Hogwarts Haven where you'll find a thread to post your student character's Bio.

wow, thanks so much.. I posted some stuff about my character in my profile already. glad about the picture thing... I hate having to search the internet for pics that fit what I think my character looks like.. but I may later on.
I'll jump over to Diagon alley and start shopping for my supplies, hope to see ya'll on the train :)
