Applications are now open. You got questions? We got answers!- You CAN apply if you already have a DA shopkeeper, a Department Head, a professor, or some other sundry collection of characters.
- Not sure what job to apply for? Consider all the many MANY types of people necessary to make a great newspaper... we need some of those!
- This is an IC and OOC position, which means that while you get to have LOTS of fun poking around in RP areas for a story or interacting in the office, we also need a story from you at LEAST once every 'term'/'year'.

I have a question 
... you're looking for many different types of reporters, yes? So with that said, is there a minimum age required? Or i guess I'll give an example, but could a student apply with a penchant for reporting as say like an intern with hopes to be hired when they graduate?

Thank you for the question. This is just like any other DA position, it is for a full employment. So anyone 18 years of age or older and the person must be graduated. We might do interns in the future, but that would be IC like all the other DA/MOM interns. Right now the full focus is to get the Daily Prophet staffed and active again.

secondly: is this only for Journalist positions? are there any positions that isnt a Reporter and how does that work IC/OOC?

We are still accepting applications, this thread will not close. So it's an open application at the moment! IC there are other positions of course. A newspaper doesn't just run on journalist alone, but ooc the requirement of writing articles is still there. Our main purpose on the Daily Prophet is to have news members/characters are interested in and want to read, plus keeping them in the know of all the things going on in the wizarding world. The IC characters and getting to play the interviews, snooping, and all that fun is just the added bonus of excitement and enjoyment!
