The
Harry Potter House Brawl T-shirt, by Threadless, is made of some of the smoothest and most comfortable cotton I have ever worn. The design itself is quite original, given how often the four Hogwarts Houses have been rendered in the media and by fans themselves. It's a subtle and clever concept depicting some of the basic characteristics of the Houses: Gryffindor, brave and bold, fighting against its unfortunate natural enemy, Slytherin. Instead of using the Hogwarts House crest depicted in the books and movies, the shirt features four coloured banners, with the appropriate House animal hanging off of them.
The best part of the shirt is that all four animals symbolise their House in question. Gryffindor's lion is aggressive and brave; Slytherin's snake, ambitious and forever Gryffindor's adversary, hence why the pair are fighting; Ravenclaw's eagle majestically and haughtily staring down at the others, as though they were all inferiors to it in every way; and Hufflepuff's badger, curious as ever as it watches on somewhat docilely as Gryffindor and Slytherin fight.
The House Brawl T-shirt has a great design which represents Hogwarts so well without having a word written across it to specify that is related to Harry Potter. It's a comfortable shirt to wear around the house, and outside on a warm day.
The design is also available on a zip-up hoody.
