PoA was my favorite until OotP....I still give it a 10 because the plot twists were amazing and i never knew what was going to happen.

I must keep believing that Prisoner of Azkaban is the best book, because I still think that it's kewl that Harry found a relative that likes him. |

POA is my joint favourite with HBP-for some reason I really clicked with this book. I loved the plot twist at the end; the Dementors are amazing and ingenius, and the characters in this book excelled IMHO. Utterly fantastic, and a great read-I even felt sorry for Hermione which rarely happens.

I think Prizoner of Azkaban is my second favorite Harry potter Book out of the whole series just becasue he finally finds someone who really cares for him and someone he can talk to if he needs help.

7/10 This book appears to me to be a filler leading into the next two blockbusters. There may be more to it than I realize.

PoA is my favorite book, you found more about Harry's parents and their friends too. Harry also finds someone that cares for him like his parents.

PoA is a great book, for them reasons and more; but the GOF is a FANTASTIC BOOK TOO! It's hard to choose favourites, but if it came down to the one I liked reading most it'd probly be POA and GOF. Hard to choose...

Hogwarts RPG Name: Roma Galda Sixth Year | Bassoons galore! Review: This is my ultimate favorite of the whole set so far. Knowing that, all along, Sirius was actually good was a nice surprise. It was also nice to have a break from the most of the Voldemort-drama.
9-10.

PoA was by far my fav. I like how this book starts to get into detail about other people and not just He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Alicia Cranberry | A lot of the characters changed. They grew much more mature, but i'd have to say that this book isn't my top favourite. It was a break from Voldemort and it was nice to see Sirius on the good side. I especially liked how the film portrayed that image.
Overall 8/10

Prisoner of Azkaban is a beautiful piece of work. Although JKR does great on all of her books, this one is exceptional. It begins to put together many important facts in books to come, bringing up Harry's father and his past. For the first time Harry has someone to talk to who will help him, even though he believe's Sirius is a murderer in the beginning. Lupin, another loveable character, teaches Harry and tells him about his father. I was as shocked as Harry in the Shrieking Shack scene to find out he was in league with Sirius. I felt better though, when I knew that Sirius was good. Harry, Ron, and Hermione all grow and learn new things. My favorite book in the series!

Hogwarts RPG Name: Samuel Daniels | I have to admit the Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite book. I believe it really sets a great stage for the books that follow it. This book also had me tricked more than any of the others. All along I figured Sirius was just going to be another Lord Voldemort type and as we have all come to find out, he wasn't. This sure fooled me! Great book, great writing, alll around good book. I give it 10 out of 10!

PoA is my favourite BY FAR!
Don't even know why, it's not that long, but it's where you actually start to find out more about Harry's past/parents compared to TPS and COS...

| Greyhound Rescuer ♥ I agree with VixieBlack - I absoloutley ADORE this book - it's my favourite in the series.
The plot is excellent, it doesn't focus on Voldemort unlike the other books which makes it special in a way but like Vixie said, it focuses on events which have happened in Harry's past and we learn so much more about him.
It has fantastic characters such as Sirius Black; when I first read this I was convinced he was really the one who betrayed Harry parents until the climax, and Remus Lupin who is all together my favourite character in the whole series.
All of these combined - the plot, the characters and how we find out so much more about Harry and his past, make it, for me, the best book of the series. |

PoA instantly caught my attention and it has been by far my favourite ever since. OoTP is probably my second favourite though.
I think I prefer PoA because there is a lot of action and you get to learn more about what happened before Harry was born.
10/10 definately!

Before the HBP came out, this was deffinatly my favorite book.
Ive read it that many times, its fallen apart. I need to buy a new one.
I love how it hasnt got Voldemort in it and it reveals alot of information that you didnt know before.
I also love that it makes you believe the worng thing and then corrects you at the end.

I have to say this is my 2nd fave book. It is sooo good! I think there were so many twists and plots that the whole book just kept you guessing. Every time I read it again, I relive all of the twists. You never know what is going on, and I love that in a book! 10/10!
