Personality: Generally Laurel is by nature ambitious but never ruthless. She is usually calm, serious, loyal, focused but also loving, empathic and wise. Has never taken on the big leading role in a group, she follows the crowd but not if it will lead to danger or reckless stupidity. As any slytherin she has a good sense of selfperservation and get's herself out of the mix before things go super south. She does though usually make sure to get help for those she has left. Laurel has always liked trying new things and has learned the hard way that not all ideas should be tested, evidenced by some st mungos visits in her youth for broken limbs and wounds. Is good tempered most of the time and doesn't get angry over simple things, however if you awake her anger then you'd better take cover since when Laurel's sees red she isn't above throwing things around and spluttering out oaths. History:
Before Hogwarts:
Laurel was born after lunch time on the 4th of March 2059 to Virginia and Victor Vance. She unexpectedly came to the world when the family were visiting the muggle zoo in London near the ape cages. Causing quite an happening amongst the zoo visitors but it all went well. Laurel is the youngest of three children and also the only girl so she naturally got a lot of attention from her parents, must from her mother. Her elder twin brothers were both out-going, outdoorsy, energetic, bold and sometimes even headstrong growing up while Laurel had inherited the more calm, serious but also the ambitious and loyal Vance family trait. She liked a healthy mix of physical outdoor activities like quidditch and running but she also grown interested in reading a lot about myths and legends and fantasy. Learned early that she was good at sensing moods and also predicting things only a seer would know about the future. Laurel baffled her parents when she around the age of 8 predicted in the exact way how a relative would die.
The uncannily correct prediction caused her parents to get in touch with St Mungos and with other friends and family to learn more about children with an believed Inner Eye. She even got to exchange letters with a then known seer near Oxford where they lived. Her first show of magic came around 8 years too when her brothers hoisted her up for fun in the families backyard flag pole. The line burst but instead of plummeting down to the ground and sustaining life threatening injuries she landed unscathed on her own two feet.
Time at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry:
At Hogwarts she was sorted into Slytherin house to her siblings big surprise since they expected her to be sorted into Gryffindor like them. She used her years at Hogwarts to grow on her love for Divination and polish her prediction skills to become more accurate even if divination isn't an exact art in itself. Laurel also realized that she had good apt for making potions while she was in her own mind pretty useless at transfiguration and later also at numbers. When it came to friends she was never one to take the first step. Never a leader. Laurel liked following the crowd unless it lead to stupid danger. Like the time when some of her friends wanted to pull a prank on the caretaker which backfired of course making all their ears grow long as bunnies. It ended with a detention and a hospital wing visit while Laurel just got told to try and stop her friends and not let them do stupid pranks. The friendships she kindled with other students Laurel cherished and built on. She was a loving and loyal friend even if she had her quirks with making predictions and wanting to drink a lot of tea at odd hours and interest in perfume.
Making predictions and generally being a bit quirky wasn't always appreciated so she tended to get bullied and stamped as weird by her peers and housemates. It started to get more intense in her teenage years from 4th year and onwards. For a growing girl's self esteem it wasn't exactly healthy. When you don't feel appreciated you usually turn to your elder siblings for assistance, but Laurel chose to turn to her elder cousin Justin first for advice since he was older and a former Slytherin himself. They had always bonded really well and had had many fun playtimes over the years.
Laurel graduated from Hogwarts with good grades in most of the subjects she sat OWL & NEWT exams for. Surprising herself with actually not failing transfiguration but managing an E which she had thought was impossible at the start of even dream of. She had built a up a decent self esteem and looked forward to taking university classes.
University and beyond:
Laurel enrolled herself at the nearest magical university from Oxford where she gained the degrees she wanted in Divination and Potions especially and got her first real kiss from a guy that she dated, but it didn't last. After university she applied and got accepted to work in a muggle psychic shop where she learned the trade from a seer who later sadly turned out to be nothing but a big old fraud. After leaving the psychic shop business Laurel engrossed herself in divination studies full time for a few years before she applied to the ministry's Mysteries department and got employed as an unspeakable for the hall of prophesies.
She stayed there for almost 10 years before she got asked by then Hogwarts headmaster Mohammed Sahnoun if she was interested in coming to the school and teach Divination to the next generations of witches and wizards. After thought and careful scrying in her crystal ball Laurel accepted the job proposal. So that's where the 30 something single seer will be found from September 1st, inspiring the youth. Going into her third year of teaching Laurel was asked by Headmistress Hawthorne to take on role of head of Slytherin after her resigning cousin which she accepted after consulting her cards and crystal ball. So the snakes will have a woman in charge from now on!

Pre-Hogwarts, AKA: The One Where I Got Two Dads
When his sister and brother in law died from dragon pox, Denis Borzekowski became the legal guardian of their young triplets - Oliver, Ellery, and Colin. Young and newly married to his husband, Ainsley Thomas, he was a bit nervous about his ability to be a father. But soon the couple had officially adopted the triplets and loved them as their own. They grew up in a very close and happy family. At age 11 all three got their Hogwarts letters but only Olly and Ellery ended up going. Colin stayed away from the busy and overstimulating castle to be homeschooled. Olly missed his brother, of course, but he still had his sister and the prospect of an exciting magical education in front of him.
First year, AKA: The One Where I Wanted To Be A Gryffindor
Since O comes after E, Oliver was sorted after his sister. Since she went to Gryffindor that’s where he was expecting to go. They were triplets and they were always together. When the hat sorted him into Slytherin he was devastated. He even tried to convince then Head of House Airey Flamsteed to let him be a Gryffindor to no avail. He was stuck a Slytherin in the dungeons with his sister so far away. He got used to it eventually, making friends with his fellow Slytherins. (Notably: Dot Wojack, Slytherin Prefect <3). He began his studies, which were much more boring than he’d hoped. Even magical classes are still just classes. It was during his first year that a potions assignment led to him taking a potion that turned him into a fox. Unfortunately not everyone was aware this was an assignment and Airey Flamsteed thought he was a real fox. Fox!Oliver was captured in a net and brought to the Headmistress’ office before things were sorted out and he turned back into a human. No hard feelings, Flamsteed.
Second year, AKA: The One Where My Best Friend Is Missing
Little did Olly know that his best friend, Noelle Summers, was kidnapped in Knockturn Alley over the summer. He spent the first half of the year worrying about where she was. He tried his best to figure out where she was, leading to a visit to Headmistress Moxley, but was unsuccessful. He was ecstatic when she came back, and horrified to find out what had happened to her. He gave her his notes and practiced with her to help her catch up. In Olly’s mind little else was very important in this year after he found out that his best friend was safe. Even the hag that tried to eat students barely mattered.
Third year, AKA: The One Where I Do Not Have A Crush On Katherine Moss
Olly is always glad when his sister finds good friends, except he does not always like said friends. After his second year he found out that one of his sister’s best friends was Katherine Moss. He had had a run in with her the year before where she accused him of having a crush on her even though it was a completely unfounded accusation. He tried being nice to her for his sister’s sake, but it’s hard to be friends with someone who continues to accuse you of having a crush on them and also of having no ambition. As far as Olly’s actual friends went, this was the year of his first (and really only) fight with Noelle. When she fell off a broom on the practice pitch he insisted that she go to the hospital wing even when she adamantly refused. When a professor showed up she tried to pretend she was fine and got mad when Olly told on her. Of course they made up eventually, after the worst few weeks ever.
The most notable characteristic of this year was when Olly became the owner of his very own crup. The summer before his third year he was out in some woods near his house and came across an injured crup. His dads helped take him to a healer and look for his owner. Nobody ever claimed him so Olly ended up adopting him as his own and naming him Henry.
Fourth Year, AKA: The One Where I Definitely Like Boys
Fourteen year old Oliver’s new goal was to get a kiss, and he wasn’t being picky about who it was from. For a while he had a crush on Charlotte Kettleburn. He also couldn’t help but notice that he was in a dorm full of very cute boys. For Christmas he dressed up like Snow White, hoping for a prince. It was during this year that he met Remy Edwards, a hufflepuff, and they became friends. A mutual friend, Owen Montezor, set them up on a blind date and their relationship blossomed from their. The boys went on more dates, and soon Remy became Olly’s first boyfriend.
Fifth Year, AKA: The One With Lots Of Worries
Fifth year is OWL year and Olly spent a lot of time in the library. He had never considered himself a particularly good student, but he didn’t want to fail so he studied as much as he could. There was a lot to worry about this year. A mysterious portal appeared at Hogwarts and began snatching children. It worried him, especially when Noelle started taking a special interest. It reminded her of her own kidnapping, and Olly would do anything to help comfort her. So the two devised some plans to investigate the portal and try getting the missing boys back. They joined a group at the library. The boys returned before drastic action had to be taken, but it wasn’t long before the monster came out of the portal to capture two first years. Olly was among the group that volunteered to go into the portal after them. His encounter with the monster left scratches along his face but fortunately the boys were rescued and the portal was closed.
Along with worrying about monsters and OWLs, Olly had personal worries as well. He was happy in his relationship with Remy, but unfortunately found out feelings aren’t simple. This was the year of Olly’s first breakup.

Brent is a outgoing kind of guy who doesn't really ever meet a stranger. If he thinks you're cool and easy to get along with, and you don't get on his nerves or say weird things, then you're his friend. He's not uptight about anything at all and would rather take the fun route than be on the safe side any day. He's not really immature, though, so expecting something like a food fight from him would be kind of far-fetched. He'd totally laugh about seeing one, though, and would be more worried about messing up his clothes or his hair than the actual food in general. He's all about sports and the "cool Hogwarts subjects" and thinks it's a pain to have to attend ancient Runes, Arithmancy, and Divination. He has no idea what his wants to be when he grows up and thinks those kind of thoughts are for people his dad's age anyway. He's pretty excited about attending Hogwarts and can't wait to meet new friends and play some Quodpot (he has no idea there's no Quodpot here).
History:
Brent has a very basic birth story, which pretty much amounts to the fact that he was born on a sunny day in California right in the middle of the summer. He was the first of four children born to Harlan and Daphne Westwood. He was a handful from the time he could walk, keeping his mom and dad on their toes and racing after him most of the time. When he was about five-years-old, his parents tried to take him surfing, but he pretty much failed from the get-go. The first time he tried to stand up on the board, a mild wave crashed into him, pushing him underwater and away from surfing for good. Later on, after he started showing signs of magic, he proved to be very good at skills that would later help him excel at Quodpot. No matter what object his father would give him, Brent would usually be able to toss it into a pot, bucket, hole, etc.
When he was two-years-old, his first sibling, a brother named Kane, was born. Brent was your typical older sibling. He once took a permanent marker and drew a fake mustache on Kane a day before they were to take family pictures. It took a lot of magic to get baby Kane mustache-free and picture-ready. When Kane was a few years older, Brent convinced the young boy that he was actually born in a forest amongst a pack of wolves. Brent told Kane that they found him living in a cave and eating bugs and brought him home to civilize him. He told him they didn't know who his parents were, but they were going to find them and ship Kane back home. When Kane ran sobbing to his mom and dad, Brent was forced to admit he hadn't been telling the truth and had to apologize to Kane. It was all in good sibling fun, as now-a-days, Brent gets along very well with all three of his siblings and loves them a lot.
Realizing Brent would likely not fit in at any muggle school, his parents decided to homeschool him until he was of-age to attend Ilvermorny. At the American school, he was sorted into Wampus and played on the house Quodpot team. He was a pretty good student at the subjects he enjoyed and made decent scores in the subjects he hated. He had a girlfriend named Madelyn that he liked very, very much, but she dumped him for some other guy when his parents dropped a bombshell they'd be moving across the pond to Great Britain. Pretty upset about it at first, Brent kept to himself and stayed in his room for a while, until he realized that he was being a brat and should probably act like the mature Westwood kid. So he apologized to his parents and spent the rest of the summer getting himself excited about attending Hogwarts.

Cameron spent his first five years leading a normal life with his parents, Amanda and Julien, and his younger sister Holly in a small town in the south of Wales called Ferndale. In July 2085, however, a tragic incident involving a fire cost both parents their lives, leaving the two children orphaned. While the reason for the fire hadn’t been completely clear at first, further investigations soon confirmed that it had been two year old Holly who had started the fire through an uncontrolled burst of magic. Naturally the owners of the foster home the two were staying at were informed about this detail but it has so far been kept from both children. After discovering that they could not have any children of their own Steven and Nancy decided to look into adopting with the help of the adoption agency “Sisters of Hope” which they had found through a mutual friend. The agency closely works with a great number of orphanages and foster homes, including the one Cameron and Holly were staying at.
Despite being informed of the reasons for the children’s parents’ tragic deaths, the two adopted Holly and Cameron on May 2, 2086, promising to keep an extra close eye on young Holly and the girl’s magical endeavors. While Cameron does remember their biological parents, they have become somewhat of a distant memory, even though both Nancy and Steven are trying to preserve a positive and clear image of Amanda and Julien. They’ve been open about the children’s adoption from the very beginning, not wanting to keep anything from them unless it was absolutely necessary. A single photo of the whole family taken on Holly’s first birthday has been saved and has been hung on the wall alongside other, more recent family photos in the Tamesis household.

First Year: Started off slightly disheartening when she was sorted into Slytherin instead Hufflepuff, but Skylar quickly grew to adore her house despite being separated from Hattie. She became good friends with her dormmates, Vivian Fairfield and Junia Botros, definitely feeling comfortable with them. Named Most Promising Firstie in the Yearbook, alongside Hattie. Earned 255 points, number four ranked Slytherin, number eleven overall. She did also look up greatly to Hady Lynch, feeling very determined by the older snake.
Second Year: Rather uneventful, continued to work hard in her studies. She did earn the rights to being 'Player of the Match' for Gobstones, helping contribute to Slytherin's third place earning for the Gobstones Cup.
Third Year: Hit the ground running from the start in her third year, though she had a brief hiccup for a short time, she did manage to finish as top Snake Point Earner with 356 points, number two overall! She also managed to make the top list in six of her classes: Top-Notch Transformer, Divination Super Student, Muggle Studies Legend of Tomorrow, Champion Charmer, Future Historian, Future Astronomer. She also participated in Dueling Club for the first time and managed to finish by luck most likely as top Jinx Dueler for Third Years. Overall a successful year academically. From the extracurricular perspective, she developed her first crushes as well, from a mere student-professor crush on the new Healer, to literally being crushed when she discovered Henry and Charlotte were dating, upon seeing them kiss. But her sights are on someone else too, as the attention of a teenage girl is quite fickle at this point

Skylar is the third biological child of Curt and Savannah Diggory. Both of her parents are former Hufflepuffs, prefects and class of 2068. They became friends during their first night at the castle, and started 'dating' in the winter of their Third year. Toward the end of their Seventh year, Curt proposed to Savannah at their favorite spot - Hogwarts lake, and of course, she said yes. After leaving Hogwarts, Curt accepted a reserve position with the Montrose Magpies and was later offered chaser, while Savannah studied magical creatures with the goal of becoming a creature healer. The two were married not too long after leaving school in a beautiful ceremony with the help of mutual best friend, Alexis Chosen, who had apparently been planning their wedding for a year or more prior to them actually getting engaged.
Quite unlike her older siblings - Noah and Hayley - Skylar is much louder and is much more content moving around then sitting quietly reading a book. The moment she started walking, she would frequently disappear - which thankfully wasn't far as she mainly would use her mobility to go next door to visit her cousins or the Patons.
As soon as Noah started Hogwarts, Skylar began counting down the days that she could also go and be sorted. Hayley and Logan were there, and it was just her left as the "eldest" with her two baby twin siblings. Of course she had another two years to go, but Skylar was anxious. She would have sleepovers with her best friends, Hattie Paton and Hazen Krum, where together the three of them would brainstorm the adventures to be had Hogwarts. Naturally they were all hoping to be sorted into the same house, but only time would tell.
Finally, on her eleventh birthday, as her older siblings said would happen, a snowy owl dropped her Hogwarts acceptance letter through the kitchen table. Just 26 days before the Hogwarts Express was scheduled to leave. Her journey to Hogwarts had finally begun and she was going to be there, right alongside her best friends: Hattie Paton and Hazen Krum.

Junia has always been energetic. She’s also extremely enthusiastic about things which interest her like possible princes, Quidditch, and get togethers with her family. She feels very strongly about tradition and respecting the older members of her family, with the exception of her sister, who she says doesn’t count as OLD just yet. Although happy most of the time, when Junia is upset, her emotions are not easily hidden and she often lets the party that caused said emotions know-quite loudly-what’s bothering her. She’s also fiercely protective of her siblings, ready to jump at the chance for revenge if they are wronged. Some would say Junebug has a flair for the dramatic, something that both amuses-and sometimes irritates-those around her. Ah, so you wanna know about the history of Cornelius. Orion. Baltazar. Sure. Why not? Before I was born, my parents tried REALLY hard to have a boy heir to the name. It didn’t happen after four daughters. They also had bumps and potholes along the way before I even happened. They ran into such a deep pothole when they chose to file for divorce. Of course, I’m here so something had to happen. Dad married my godmother Marisca, but that didn’t work out because it turns out her dead husband wasn’t really dead, so my dad and Marisca’s marriage didn’t count. A little while after that my parents fell in love again and remarried. WOOT!
That’s when I--Cornelius. Orion. Baltazar--happened. They say I was born late after the due date and that I was a big baby--not my fault my mum loved me and fed me well. I was loved on INSTANTLY. Mum says Dad threw a huge party and everyone in town was invited.
I grew up in a very cozy and doting home. My godparents live across my house, they are parents of my BESTEST friend in the whole wide WORLD; Rosalinda Jane Walke, a.k.a Rosie. She was born nine days after me, it was meant to be for us to be BFFs. We attended Young Witches and Wizards Academy in London. She’s into dance while I’m interested in Quidditch. It works out. She usually does my hair before a match and I trip anyone who needs dealing with.
Quidditch has been part of my since day one. Serious. My dad bought me my first toy broom and Falmouth Falcons jersey on the day I was born. I breathe, love and live Quidditch.
Recently I’ve graduated from YWWA and I am now on the road to Hogwarts. As per usual in our crazy mixed family, the bets have been set. Dad, Peyton, Kennedy and Seth bet ten galleons that I’ll land Slytherin. My godparents and their son, Johnathan, put down that I’ll land Gryffindor. Mum, dearest mother, has bet I’ll be in Ravenclaw. Here’s the thing, I don’t want to be Ravenclaw. And here’s another thing, I think I’ll land Ravenclaw. Mum’s the only ‘Claw in our family and I know it’ll make her proud and jump for joy if I took after her, but if I do, I worry I’m not as clever as everyone says I am. Knowing the woman who gave me life, she’ll expect top scores and top marks on every. single. assignment. I ever do. It already sounds EXHAUSTING.
Anyway, I hope I land Gryffindor. I’ll get the biggest kick to see the look on my dad’s Slytherin face. HAHAHA.

Tejashree Oni Peale was born in New Delhi, India on hazy, hot November day. The moment she opened up her eyes, she was looking up at her father and continued to look up to him as she grew up. Teddy was fearless from the moment she could take her first steps. She never gave up on a challenge, but she also knew when not to accept one. She loves her family more than anything which is why it's so hard to be mad at her parents after they rerooted their family to the United Kingdom. To this day, she and her sisters are not quite sure why they came here, but all she can do is trust in her father and mother that they know best.
