This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to the study and practice of Apparition, the art of magical teleportation. The main classroom is designed with a focus on both instruction and hands-on practice. It features enchanted mirrors and visualization aids to help students and trainees master the nuances of Apparition. The room is spacious, with ample space for several hoops to be scattered about on the floor, and is equipped with cushioning charms to ensure a soft landing during practice sessions.
The space is furnished with magical teaching aids, including step-by-step guides, instructional scrolls, and interactive displays to support learning. A section of the room is also dedicated to relaxation and focus, featuring calming magical artefacts to help students centre their concentration before and after practice.
In addition to the main classroom, there is a side room specifically designated for the written examination. This area is meticulously designed to assess theoretical knowledge and understanding of Apparition. It is equipped with enchanted desks and parchment that automatically adjust for comfort and clarity. The room is enhanced with soundproofing spells to ensure a distraction-free environment in addition to the most stringent Anti-Cheating Spells.

OOC: All Ministries of Magic require that all wizards and witches complete an Apparition course before testing. At the British Ministry, the course is offered over 4 weeks at the following times in the Apparition Classroom:
Mondays and Wednesdays @ 9 A.M. - 11 A.M.
Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
Additionally, the course is offered to Hogwarts students over 12 weeks from late-January through mid-April on Saturdays @ 10 A.M. - 11 A.M.
The examinations required for an Apparition licence occur in this area as well when course lessons are not in session. An appointment for testing must be scheduled in advance. Please review the Apparition Guidelines for more information on what your character must do to be issued an Apparition licence at the Ministry.

Nerves were a thing. But Dionysus wasn't going to let them affect him today. He thought he did well on the written portion, some questions had him re-considering, but that was likely one of the many Ravenclaw traits in him. To think is to measure, and beyond measure is every wit's treasure. Something like that.
Anyway, he was freshly showered to help relax and smell nice as usual. His dad gave him helpful calming and meditating tips ahead of the exam date, and his Apapa provided some loving words of affirmation before he was ready to go. Upon arrival with his girlfriend, he presented the appropriate identification and wand. They gave each other great moral support before their expected testing date and time. He made sure to arrive close to 30 minutes before his scheduled 14:00 (2:00 p.m) time on the 1st of July.
After the written portion was completed, Dio waited, fighting the extra nerves before he could get the full results. If he passed, he got the chance to attempt the practical, but if he failed... Well, he can always try again. It wouldn't be the end of the world, he supposed.

She had seen every expression under the sun march through the Apparition Test Centre: white-knuckled fear, cocky overconfidence, and—her least favourite—tears. But the young man she had seen seated during his written examination? He looked composed. A Ravenclaw, probably. They had a look about them.
"Mr. Laramore." She offered the faintest ghost of a smile and held the clipboard aloft as she scanned it. "Satisfactory comprehension... some hiccups with a few questions, but nothing worthy of sending you home without a licence. You've passed the written exam."
She gave a small nod and stepped aside, gesturing for him to follow her into the adjoining room: a spacious room with several hoops and various obstacles scattered about.
"Before we begin the practical, let's review the basics. The Three D's. I trust you know them?" She didn't wait for him to answer; she was already pacing in a slow circle. "Destination. You must fix your mind firmly upon the location you wish to appear in. Deliberation. Precision, clarity, intention—flailing about won't help you. Determination. You either commit or you don't; halfway Apparition is how we end up with misplaced eyebrows and worse."
With that, she clapped her hands once, sharp as a spell crack.
"Now, it is important to take your time. Splinching occurs when you rush, panic, or let your focus fray. Your first objective for the practical exam is to engage in short-range Apparition. When you are ready, step in this hoop beside me and proceed to Apparate inside the furthest hoop over there." She gestured to the right corner of the room, the hoop in question placed behind a shoulder-height brick wall. "Feel free to do some stretching and breathing first. If at any point you feel unwell, dizzy, or unsettled, stop. There is no shame in trying again another day."
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Having splinched herself more than enough times to have deterred her from Apparation altogether, Dynah quashed the idea a few months back. With encouragement from the family and girlfriend, she had reclaimed some of her confidence. It was why she had arrived twenty minutes ahead of time, presented her wand and the letter sent to her with the scheduled date and time.
The theory part of the examination was okay; Dy was certain she had done alright as opposed to receiving top marks. It was the practical that made her nervous. More nervous than anything in her life, even being on stage. For that reason, Dy closed her eyes briefly and filled her head with nothing but thoughts of her music, and the possibilities of what her next costumes for her show performances would be. She refused to be swalloed by the jitters!

Krittika had been disappointed that hers and Dio’s exams hadn’t been scheduled for the same day but it didn’t matter. Not when he was here with her to offer support, as she had done for him yesterday. She was quite confident in her ability to pass both aspects of the examination but Dio’s support certainly added to it. Kritti gracefully handed over her identification in the form of the letter along with her wand. She was feeling quite calm during that time.
The feeling continued even during the time she spent waiting for those results. She knew how important a calm mind was; Aunty Sarika constantly reminded her. But Kritti did wish the results would quickly be delivered to her as she was quite anticipating the practical.

Dionysus' smile returned towards the Examiner when he saw her approaching. With words of luck exchanged between him and his girlfriend, he stood up ready to greet her. The hairs on the back of his neck prickled slightly, like being at the Healer's clinic. But he was fine, otherwise. Especially after hearing he passed the written exam. Yes! He didn't jump for joy as much as he wanted, instead, his smile grew a little more before his composure returned. Even too much excitement can trigger disastrous results.
Dio followed her into the next room; his dark eyes scanned the area and calculated the distance in an effort to memorize it. He then nodded when she asked about the 3 D's, his mouth barely opened before she already answered. Nodding again at her advice before she clapped her hands. The sound rebounded off the wall in an echo. Then came the instructions. Okay, now it was game time. "Yes, ma'am. Thank you."
This was it. As soon as he stepped into the hoop, it would begin. He inhaled through his nose before exhaling. Shaking his arms to get rid of any knicks and kinks, along with a stretch. This was the kind of thing he was familiar with, having been on the Gobstones team in school and shaping to be off the bench Professionally. With Gobstones, you needed to accurate calculate the distance visually, and then execute the perfect move. Big difference, he was transporting his entire body and not just a little stone.
Destination, Deliberation, and Determination. His words echoed in his mind right before he stepped into the hoop. His eyes immediately fixated on the furthest hoop, found in the right corner of the room behind the brick wall that matched shoulder-height. The 3 D's echoed in Dio's mind before he closed his eyes. He spun on the stop in the hoop just as he was taught in preparation before a crack noise could be heard. He visualized the location he needed to be in, and it was clear behind his eyelids. Almost as soon as his body appeared to have vanished, his body returned inside the exact hoop he was directed to aim for.
Dionysus opened his eyes, seeing he was in a different part of the room, but exactly where he wanted to be. Then his next thought was to check if he missed anything. He felt fine. No article of clothing, body part, or even eyebrow felt like they were missing, so he waited on the Examiner's confirmation.

She refused to be swalloed by the jitters!
Soon enough the clipped rhythm of Beitris Urquhart's boots against the floor sounded. Her presence was one of sharp edges, tidy corners, and exacting standards. Clipboard tucked beneath one arm, she called out with clinical precision: "Ms. Atreyu-Rehman."
Her gaze found the young woman almost immediately—nervous, but standing. That was something. Beitris regarded her for half a beat longer before continuing with her results.
"You've passed the written exam. Near top marks, so you will most certainly be moving forward. A touch scattered with a couple of the short answer questions—" a small tap of her finger on the clipboard "—but your comprehension otherwise was sound." She looked up then, her tone merely... measured. "This way, if you please."
Once they were within the softly glowing examination room—hoops spaced methodically, various obstacles in place, wards humming quietly in certain spots—Beitris didn't waste time.
"Before you is the first phase of the practical: short-range Apparition. Your objective is to Apparate from this hoop—" she gestured to a ring just beside them, "—to the furthest one in the back left corner." The hoop in question was completely surrounded by tall narrow posts, making it clear that some finesse would be needed to avoid catastrophe.
"Remember your training. Destination. Know where you're going. Deliberation. Think clearly, act cleanly. Determination. Don't hesitate once you begin. Wavering mid-transit tends to... complicate the outcome." Her pale eyes held Dynah's a moment longer. "If you feel faint, dizzy, or uncertain—say so. You can complete the practical another day if needed. But if you are ready, step into the hoop and begin when you are focused."

Beitris, in her usual pressed robes, made her presence known. Clipboard in hand, spectacles perched low on her nose, and expression as unreadable as ever. She scanned the room until her eyes settled on the young woman.
"Ms. Joshi," she began, a flick of her wand causing the parchment attached to the clipboard to rearrange itself with a neat rustle. A brow rose—not in surprise, but in acknowledgment. "Excellent marks on the written exam. High scores across all categories—clear grasp of the process of Apparation as well as its ethical implications. You're cleared to proceed with the practical."
It was at this point she opened the door to the classroom next door. "Come with me." Beitris walked at a steady pace, stopping once they reached the first hoop.
"I've no doubt you know what comes next. This is the short-range portion of the practical. You are to Apparate from this hoop—" she tapped the rim with the toe of her boot, "—to the one directly across the room. Back-centre, just beyond the two pillars." Soon enough, a cloud of smoke appeared, hindering visibility.
"Recall the Three D's: Destination. Deliberation. Determination. No hesitations, no second-guessing, and absolutely no showmanship. Apparition is not a stage for flair. If you feel even the slightest dizziness, magical resistance, or disorientation, do not attempt. Say so, and we will stop. We are not interested in rushed licences. We are interested in safe witches and wizards."
She finally took a few steps back, her voice softening by half a degree. "You may take a moment to prepare. Begin when you are ready." Clipboard in hand, she gave the floor—metaphorically and quite literally—to Krittika.

The moment Dionysus vanished, Beitris lowered her clipboard and tilted her head, the practiced eyes of a veteran Apparition Examiner sweeping the space he'd just left. The air had cracked with promise—clean, not jagged—and within seconds, there he was. Neatly inside the target hoop. No residual magical static in the space he'd departed from. Good.
She didn't applaud. Beitris Urquhart was not the applauding type when it came to testing. But her quill scratched lightly across the parchment clipped to the board in her hand, noting the clean transit and solid landing. Glancing at him, it looked like he was still in possession of his eyebrows, both ears, and, from what she could tell, all ten toes. Marvellous.
She placed the quill on the clipboard with a soft thud.
"Next: long-range Apparition." Her tone did not waver, though the words held weight. She paced slowly, steps echoing across the floor as she continued. "Your objective will be to Apparate to the Butterbeer cart in Diagon Alley. I want you to appear right beside it, avoiding potential patrons in the process." With it being summer, she knew it would be bustling this time of day.
She paused in front of him, her gaze calm and cool. "I'll go first to ensure a safe arrival. You may make your leave about fifteen seconds after I depart."
Then came the sound of a faint pop, and Beitris vanished on the spot.

As much as Nadia was filled with excitement and nerves for her apparition test on the inside, she was doing her very best to control her outward appearance. None of her usual absent bouncing as she surely didn’t want to give the examiner ANY reason to think she wasn’t ready for the responsibility for a license. Of course once the practical exam began her focus would be too busy on not splincing herself or outright failing for the seventeen year old to care about anything else.
The written exam had gone alright, the studying for that almost as thorough at the actual practicing. The arriving early and presenting her letter and wand had been the easy part. Now she waited for the results of the written exam with baited breath, running over the three d’s in her head in the meantime. She needed this before she had to report to training.

One thing Dionysus would appreciate was the Examiner's tone didn't change beyond neutral. Because chances are any congratulatory could have thrown him off his game. With the prickly nerves returning when she appeared, relieve began to set in slightly. Only slightly, because the test wasn't done yet. Now was where it counted the most.
Long-range.. Okay, Dionysus listened and blinked at the location he would be heading to. Okay.. I can do this. The Butterbeer cart. Soon as the examiner departed, he began the same ritual, shake off any tense muscles and stretch, and deep breaths.
Dio visualized the location, he could feel the area through his fingers. Destination, Deliberation, and Determination. Echoed in his mind as he focused on the task. When he was ready, he spun on the spot and-

The approaching footsteps made Dynah’s heart rate accelerate and her palms went cold. She just knew her results were about to be announced to her. And how right she was. The breath she hadn’t realised she had been holding whooshed out of her mouth in a relieved sigh. A small smile was managed as she nodded her understanding at Urquhart’s explanation about what Dy had fallen short on. She didn’t explain herself out loud but completely attributed the lack of neat answers to the question as her nervousness. “Thank you.” For the results, for letting her know where she fell short, all of it.
Without another word, she followed the instructor to the examination room where she took in the set up of the room. Naturally, the young woman was still nervous as thoughts of splinching crossed her mind for the umpteenth time. However, as the instructions were given, her gaze shifting from Urquhart to the hoops indicated, a burst of determination came over her. She had done more nerve wracking things than Apparition. Dynah was not going to let her intrusive thoughts get the best of her.
“I feel great,’’ she said firmly, eyeing the second hoop wedged between narrow posts. “I appreciate the reminders,’’ came the genuine remark. The meaning of those three Ds would not slip away from her. Dy stepped into the first hoop and took a deep breath. She inhaled through her nostrils and exhaled through her mouth.
Right.
She was ready.
She thought extremely clearly about her destination; it helped that she could see it from where she stood. Deliberation and Determination, in her opinion, went hand in hand - thinking and acting without hesitation. With the grace she possessed thanks to her training as a dancer, she turned on the spot, her destination still etched firmly in her mind. With a loud CRACK! {ugh, some day she was going to do this silently} she vanished from one hoop. She appeared in the second - the one surrounded by those tall posts - a short time later. She had done it! The realisation dawned upon her and did a little spin in celebration, those posts surrounding her like a prisoner cell.
Another aspect of the exam had been completed, and not a body part left behind!
But Dy was careful to not let overconfidence best her. There was still a long way to go.

Krittika continued to be quite calm while she awaited her results. She wisely reminded herself that it made absolutely no sense to work herself up into a frenzy which could quite possibly disrupt her chances of acing the examination. She patiently waited for the examiner to reveal her results, and while she did so, she only filled her head with happy thoughts. Those thoughts were soon interrupted with Urquhart bringing her thrilling news. A warm and broad dimpled smile broke out. Top marks! That was just what she had set her eyes on. “Thank you, Ms Urquhart. I’m quite ready to move on.” So Kritti followed her the short distance to a classroom.
Hoops. This was no surprise but the Ravenclaw welcomed the familiarity of the classroom’s setting. After all, how often had she practiced using hoops like these? “No doubt at all,’’ she confirmed with a nod. “Hoop at the back-center, beyond the two pillars.” Kritti just had a second or two of visibility of the said hoop when she lost vision of it due to the smoke.
Of course.
The examination was not complete without adding hindrances.
Luckily, that brief observation of the hoop and the pillars was all that was needed. She held onto that image as though her life depended on it. Destination. Deliberation. Determination. When Urquhart finished her reminders, Kritti gave her a smile of appreciation. “Presently, I feel wonderful.” It also felt good to know that the Ministry took issuing Apparition licenses quite seriously.
The young lady stepped into the first hoop, mentally repeating the three Ds. On the last repeat, she reminded herself of what each of the words meant. Only then did she make the second hoop the complete focus of her mind - quite temporarily replacing a certain Laramore who usually occupied it. With the destination aspect covered, she turned on the spot without hesitation but with all the determination. There was a soft POP! as she vanished from the first spot, appearing in the back-center hoop and amidst all the smoke.
There had been no splinching, thus continuing Krittika’s streak of successful Apparition.
