As part of the grand Back to Hogwarts celebration on Sunday, Universal Orlando Resort revealed many new details about the Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic attraction opening next year, including the return of Dame Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge for the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry ride.



New information includes:

• The British Ministry of Magic and its atrium been built to full scale, similar to the films. The Fountain of Magical Brethren has been repaired to its original shape before the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, with flying interdepartmental memos going about. There will also be a magical ceiling depending on the weather chosen by Magical Maintenance.
• The story around the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry ride includes the day of the trial of Dolores Umbridge post Battle of Hogwarts.
• The locker room for the ride includes bits and pieces of Harry, Ron, and Neville's time as training Aurors in the ministry post-Battle of Hogwarts.
• The ride's walkthrough will include a wall of past Ministers of Magic in the Hall of Ministers (in portrait form interacting with each other, from 1700s Gamp to 1980s Bagnold).
• A map room with a magical moving map of the Ministry of Magic is featured, as well as a walkthrough of Auror headquarters, where fans will see them gathering information for cases, as well as a tribute to fallen Aurors.
• Fans will get to walk through Umbridge's ornate pink and gold Ministry office, featuring Umbridge's former house elf Higgledy, who is packing up her office in preparation for the trial, as well as her beloved cat plates.
• After Umbridge's office, fans head to the lift station that will take all to the courtrooms for the trial. While going on the lifts, fans will encounter different departments, different magical creatures, Death Eaters.
• Never-bef0re-scene locations like the Ministry Archives and Department of Magical Creatures will be included, and characters never seen in any Wizarding World attraction including Death Eaters Yaxley, Macnair, the Carrows, and Auror Kingsley Shacklebolt.

Dame Imelda and Eddie Redmayne are currently the only Wizarding World-films actors confirmed to reprise their roles for the attraction. Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic will open as part of Epic Universal theme park in 2025.
