It's been a rough week, but finally got some time to sit down and do some more sketches...
Flying Keys [Quirrell]
They kind of look like birds / butterflies in a way. But I suppose that's a win for me since if I recall from Book 1, i believe they were described as looking like birds.

Verdimillious [Quirrell]
This was one of those that I definitely wished I had some colour pencils for, since it's meant to be green sparks. Grateful for having at least a green pen to give some of the illusion since I don't think i'd have effectively been able to convey this charm with just pencil shadings.

Flipendo [Quirrell]
So my initial thought for this one was to do the wand movement (as shown from Hogwarts Mystery game) but then I was like, why not go a little more and show the effect. So uh, here's my best attempt at someone "knocked back" from this jinx .... Yea this is what I get for trying to be complicated, but it was fun still to sketch and definitely one of those that could use some colour if I decide to go back through after the month is over

Protean Charm [Umbridge]
So I sketched the charmed coin but then I was like, no one is going to understand that so i through a copy of Dumbledore's Army list on the sketch too in hopes it makes a little more sense ....

Polyjuice Potion [Moody]
Another one that I was definitely wishing I had some coloured pencils for but hopefully made this work... Although for some reason it looks like a luxury shampoo bottle / soap, but one could argue that shampoo is just a fancy word for potion for your hair so it still reads as a potion

I adore alllll of these pieces but my fave is definitely the keys Love the details for each, plus there's something about the wings that hold my attention!

Concealment Charm [Moody]
For this one I went with word connection again.... Concealment made me think of Disney's Frozen, specifically the "conceal, don't feel", so here's my rendition of a monochromatic Elsa.

Battle Scars [Moody]
So this is another one where I drew inspiration from the prompt. Battle scars are nothing to be ashamed of but rather they're a sign of strength, so sketched someone lifting weights.

Seeker prompt made me think of golden snitch. But I couldn't settle for just a snitch, so I drew a figure on a broom to draw the point home

Inspiration in that the start of any good friendship is an agreement and how to better showcase this than a handshake, since for the most part I draw hands fairly okay (unless they're part of the whole body in which case proportions are not my forte but I digress) ...

EEEEEP, lots of pretty sketches to stalk here. Oh my goodness, your Mirror of Erised rendition is absolutely stunning! Very detailed, I love it! You also did a brilliant job with the handshake! I love seeing how people draw hands, I find them so difficult myself but you have made it look effortless.
Also very impressed by your fanmail drawing! Capturing so many falling out of a sack is not an easy shape to achieve but I think it looks awesome!

Ghouls [Lockhart]
I have to admit that I definitely forgot when there was a ghoul in Harry Potter Until my google search for inspiration when I was reminded of the ghoul in the Weasley attic who wore pajamas, which I definitely hoped to capture with this sketch....

Not the Harry Potter Troll from the books, but as an 80s baby who had those goofy troll dolls from the 90s, i couldn't resist illustrating that for this prompt and yes, i do believe I probably still have some of those troll dolls on my shelf. Hey, they might be worth a small fortune one day

Not the three-headed dog Fluffy from the series, but well, if you know me you know that I love dogs And so quite obviously had to sketch a dog for this prompt although it's back leg(s) didn't come out quite like I hoped .... I'm on the home-stretch!! I can feel it!

Not my initial thought when it came it to this prompt but I wasn't satisfied with my initial attempts, so I went a different route I may edit in my initial attempts for funs Constant vigilance = protecting oneself, so hence shield. And showcasing a spell rebounding off it for good measure
