FearlessLeader19’s Dedications To Fictional Characters :hello: Don't you positively love this wonderful Snitchseeker tradition?! I would like to give you a warm welcome to my Seektober 2023 thread! This will be my third year participating, and like last year, I will use varying methods to showcase my work. For 2023, I have decided to make dedications to my favourite fictional characters. These characters will come from books, movies, and television shows. They all hold a special place in my heart for various reasons and I cannot think of a better way to honour them through Seektober. These dedications will be depicted through the Gilderoy Lockhart 30 Day Challenge. Below is the complete list of prompts for this challenge, with links to each of my creations: SPOILER!!: Prompts Completed: 30/30 Happy viewing! :exciterainbow: |
Character Name: Alexander Gideon Lightwood aka Alec Character Origin: The Mortal Instruments {books}; Shadowhunters {show} If kindness were a fictional character, it would be Alec. He is the one I try to model my level of kindness after. It has truly been a joy watching his character development throughout Cassandra Clare's books and the TV series did this justice as well - from a salty Shadowhunter who was hiding who he truly was to a confident leader and warrior. Alec's choice of weapon in battle is the bow and arrow, hence my crooked drawing below ^_^ SPOILER!!: Click! |
I like this concept! And am so not surprised you chose Alec :loved: Just the best <3 Great job on the bow and arrow! I can't wait to see what else you come up with! |
I love this idea of showcasing your favourite characters :glomp: I’ve not read the mortal instruments *hides* but your first creation is so sweet. <3 very excited to stalk some more!! |
SPOILER!!: Suze! Thank you! TBH, I had this idea riiiiight after last year's Seektober concluded and I held onto it! Ugh, you know me so well, Suze! :loved: I'll join Magnus in protecting Alec with all I have :3 Thank youuu! I can't wait to continue this challenge! SPOILER!!: Emz! Thank you, my lovely! :loveskip: I highly encourage you to read the books! Or at least watch the Netflix series if you can  Character Name: Steven Grant 'Steve' Rogers aka Captain America Character Origin: The Marvel Comics; The Marvel Cinematic Universe Steve is more than just a pretty face with that pretty blond hair and gorgeous blue eyes. He's courageous, compassionate and just generally a good man and a loyal friend. What I love the most about him are how he's never afraid to stand up for what's right and how a good of a friend he is to Bucky and Natasha. I'm not good at drawing but I think for now, I would like to continue this path for my creations. Excuse my slightly crooked one below as I drew the circles free handedly  SPOILER!!: Click! |
Aw, what a cute concept ^_^ I'm keen to see who makes the masterlist of 30 favorites! I have only seen the Is there a reason for the color choices on your bow and arrow? :pea: and yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas Steve :omgomg: |
This is such a unique take on the prompts. Look forward to seeing what else you have in store for us ^_^ |
Ahhh I'm so excited you have a thread and are participating this year, Ali-cat!! I can't wait to see what else you create for your favorite characters! I love the bow and arrow and shield thus far! |
Eeeek I love the shield!! Very bright and bold. :loved: I’m also a big fan of Steve. |
awww !! I loveeee that you keep doing this every year !! Such an inspiration :kissesforu: Your sketches are so fun and this is such a unique twist too |
love your take on these prompts! very excited to see who makes an appearance. I am not familiar with anything Cassandra Clare has written, but I can still appreciate the route you took from the prompt to the character to the final piece. very nice bow, love the colour scheme. I also really enjoy your take on 'self-portrait', with Steve's iconic shield can't wait to see more creativity from you ^_^ |
SPOILER!!: All the kind things! <3 Character Name: Tyler Kennedy Strand a.k.a T. K Character Origin: 9-1-1: Lone Star {TV Show} I got into the show in June of this year after videos of TK and his boyfriend kept appearing on my Facebook feed during Pride month. I immediately fell in love with it, with TK becoming my second fave character. Representing him is a stethoscope because though TK started out as a capable firefighter, he went on to become one of the best paramedics as part of his character development. The stethoscope is coloured in a few colours of the Pride flag to further represent this wonderful man. SPOILER!!: Click! |
alas, a show that I also know nothing about (but I know the actor because he has been suggested to me for an older Josh face :xd:) this is a very sweet little homage to the character though and I think stethoscopes should come in colors like this  |
I love your drawings ;__; I love how cute they are and how meaningful you are making them! Can't wait to see what else you produce <3 |
Ooh I’ve never heard of this show! :pea: another adorable piece, love the representation you’ve included and how meaningful you make them. <3 big fan of stalking this page! |
SPOILER!!: Hey, all you beautiful people! <3 Character Name: Dr. Spencer Reid a.k.a Spence Character Origin: Criminal Minds {TV Show} Reid is a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI and he is a GENIUS! He has an IQ of 187, can read 20,000 words per minute and has an eidetic memory. Since Intelligence is one of the traits of Ravenclaw House, I saw it fitting to represent him with a brain. I had extra fun doing this one because I found that drawing the swirls {which were first drawn in pencil then traced over with a black wooden pencil} quite soothing  Don't think I captured the brain stem efficiently. Oh well xD SPOILER!!: Click! |
Sounds like a brain is the perfect idea for this character! XD 20,000 words per minute?! I think this is piece is amazing! The shaping and swirls of the brain look great and it all works and blends so well together - ITS PERFECT!!!:loveskip: |
I understand this reference! .....vaguely  I think you did a fine job on the brain ^_^ it looks really squishy! |
SPOILER!!: <3 Character Name: Magnus Bane Character Origin: The Mortal Instruments {Books}; Shadowhunters {TV Show} Paying homage to my second fave TMI character - after Alec - who incidentally is Alec's husband. Magnus is the High Warlock of Brooklyn, later promoted to the High Warlock of Alicante {the Shadowhunters' home city} after he and Alec married. Magnus is immortal and has had many, many adventures over his 400+ years on Earth. For this reason, he was assigned this prompt. Throughout the series' {both books & TV show}, his magic is represented by blue flames. So, I chose to colour the below flame in sky blue {outer flame} and dark blue {inner flame}. SPOILER!!: Click! |
ahhh, Lone Star is one I'm sort of familiar with, I've caught a few episodes here and there. the stethoscope is a really sweet homage to the character especially with the pride colours incorporated in. excellent choice. that's a really neat brain (they're so fun to draw, right?) I'm loving the swirls :3 and with the flames, I love those two shades together. also the journey (or voyage, ha) from prompt to character to final piece once again. so creative ^_^ |
SPOILER!!: Feely! *hearteyes* Character Name: Rhett Butler Character Origin: Gone With The Wind {Book} Rhett has been my fave GWTW character from the moment we encountered him. His sassiness, shrewdness, intelligence and caring nature had me hooked in each of his scenes. He is quite popular though not all for good reasons and is legit described as 'the black sheep' of his family. Naturally I chose to draw and colour one of those ;) Though not fully coloured in black, I think it still represents Rhett. I particularly had fun doing the face  SPOILER!!: Click! |
I like the shape of that little blue flame :loved: it is its own little chibi form! baa baa black sheep :sheep: it is so floofy! Also, I know this reference but....I've never seen the film nor read the book either :xd: |
I’m really loving the niche way you are connecting your prompts to your characters but then going a little abstract with the drawing rather than going for the obvious. It’s so cool to see the way your mind is linking these things. |
SPOILER!!: Lovelies! <3 Character Name: Jack Dawson Character Origin: Titanic {Movie} Dear, sweet, brave Jack :loved: He was the first 'walking green flag' character I encountered as a pre teen. However, I hadn't realised this until earlier this year when I rewatched the movie after it was re-released in cinemas. This prompt was selected for him because Jack has always been the writer of his own life. He never allowed anyone to dictate how he should live and rightfully so. In the end, he penned himself a very adventurous life. For him, I went with a poker chip since he won his ticket to the Titanic in a game of poker. Darker colours were selected for the chip as Jack usually wore said array of colours. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Ooooh, lots of new pretties to catch up on. :loved: firstly - that sheep is so CUUUUTE!! :x3: I’m not familiar with most of the characters you have portrayed, but Jack <3 someone who has a place in all of our hearts I’m sure. the poker chip came out great, very symmetrical and pleasing colour choices! :x3: |
The detail on the brain is SOOOO good I LOVE IT. and the SHEEEEEP. IT'S SO CUTE, ALI! <3 great work! |
*finally gets back in here* Omg Ali!! I love all the things! That brain is super good and I love the blue flames for Magnus :loved: Great job lovely! I can't wait to see more! |
SPOILER!!: Friends! <3 Character Name: Charles Francis Spring a.k.a Charlie Character Origin: Heartopper {Graphic Novels & Netflix series} Charlie is a character that I can relate to in quite a few ways which cannot be discussed on SS. I fell in love with him and his soft nature after watching the series {a few months later I would be gifted all four volumes of the novels and I loved him even more after reading those}. In the show, Charlie's hair is extremely curly while in the novels, it is straight and messy. Either way, this prompt made me immediately think of Charlie. It is mentioned by the author that Charlie is a Slytherin, hence the very curvy and green snake below. I opted to go without a face this time  and thought of adding some yellow to the mix but then decided against it as I wanted it to purely be green to represent Slytherin. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Awwweeee love your snake. :loved: it has a lovely shape! I have actually wanted to watch the show you’re referencing to here, I think I may do that very soon now! And yes you are definitely giving me a good list of things to watch/read here, lol. |
I have a running list of recommendations and very little time to devote to ticking anything off it  I understand both these references though - haven't seen the Heartstopper show but I have read the webtoon! Very sweet interpretations once again :pea: agree with the charming color choices for the poker chip as well - also the cool tones now reminding me of, er, well, you know... COOL things and conclusions  |
SPOILER!!: Lovies! <3 Character Name: Simon Eriksson Character Origin: Young Royals {Netflix series} Banshees are known for their wailing but this prompt reminded me of a Swedish young man with an incredible voice {it also helps that the actor who plays Simon is a real life singer!} Simon is the lead in his school's choir, and incidentally, his voice was one of the things that caught the attention of the Crown Prince of Sweden, who later became Simon's boyfriend. The boarding school that Simon attends is normally open to the rich and elite but he scored a position there via a scholarship. He's a soft spoke, easy going, loyal guy - with a personality like that, how can anyone not fall in love with him?! Did some basic musical notes in Simon's honour, shaded a few colours of the boarding school's uniform. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Edmundo Diaz a.k.a Eddie Character Origin: 9-1-1 {TV series} Not to be confused with the spin off show, 9-1-1: Lone Star, as 9-1-1 is the original! I love this show even though I admittedly took a little while to connect with the characters. It wasn't until season 2, when Eddie made his first appearance that I found my fave charrie. There are a few reasons why I adore him: he's a great father to his son who has cerebral palsy; he's a loyal friend and a dedicated firefighter. I chose to draw a simple firefighter's coat as the prompt supposedly is a healing spell. Eddie rescues and helps to medically heal them. There's nothing special about the coat as I shaded it in the usual yellow and orange to represent their real-life neon colours. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Ooh, lots of lovely colour in the last two. ^_^ the jacket is super symmetrical, I think it looks great! |
SPOILER!!: A lovely! <3 Character Name: Matthew Murdock a.k.a Matt & Daredevil Character Origin: Marvel Comics; Netflix Series/The Marvel Cinematic Universe Ambition reminds me of Daredevil because by day Matt is "a very good lawyer" and by night he's out fighting crime. He inspires me in both aspects since despite being blind, he never gives up; after all that he's been through, he still has much compassion and understanding. This is not my best work; while creating the below Daredevil logo, most of my attention was on the movie I was watching  Still, here ya go! One logo coloured in red to match Daredevil's suit, the one which he wore in the Netflix series. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Detective Elliot Stabler, Sr. a.k.a El Character Origin: Law & Order: Special Victims Unit; Law & Order: Organized Crime {TV Shows} Elliot has been one of my faves since I was a teenager. His bravery, intelligence and moral compass inspires me so much. He appears to be a tough guy; however, he's such a softie not just for the people he cares about but even strangers. The character left SVU in 2009 but in 2019, he was back with his own show, L&O: OC. On both shows, he is haunted by incidences in his past but even more so in OC, since this show opened with a tragic blow to Elliot's life. Season 3 was completed a few months ago but he's still very much affected by this tragedy. My ghoul below has funny eyes :lmao: I considered fixing them so they'd look symmetrical but I decided to leave them xD SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Prince Wilhelm Character Origin: Young Royals {Netflix Series} Wilhelm is the Crown Prince of Sweden. He had a bit of a wild soul but was tamed somewhat by his boyfriend, Simon. Wilhelm became the heir to the throne after an unfortunate event, and being outed from the proverbial closet meant that he was thrusted further into the spotlight. His journey while handling a series of hurdles in his life is truly epic to watch  I chose this prompt because Wilhelm is more of a serious guy but those times that he smiled during the series? He lights the place up! SPOILER!!: Click! |
Awwweeee, your ghost is super cute. :loved: and I love the daredevil symbol, very well done! Matthew Murdoch is another great character, I feel so excited when I recognise one you have portrayed. :lmao: |
SPOILER!!: My biggest cheerleader! <3 Character Name: Agent Phillip J. Coulson a.k.a Phil Character Origin: Marvel Comics; The Marvel Cinematic Universe/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Coulson is someone I admire greatly because he always is after just and is all about doing the right thing. He's a GREAT and compassionate leader but is not afraid of getting the job done when required. For these reasons, he was eventually promoted to the Director of SHIELD, where we were able to witness many of his adventures with his team. 'Seeker' is tied to Phil, in my mind, since he constantly seeks to get to the bottom of wrongdoings and mysteries that pose as threats. He is a huge fan of kangaroos which is why I drew the one below {clearly I still need to work on my faces :lmao: } SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Pikachu Character Origin: Pokémon This cute, cuddly, adorable, fierce, loyal little creature!!!!! I mean, what's there not to like about this 'mouse' Pokémon? Pikachu has been my fave since I was a little girl and that has not changed as a thirty-one year old woman! No doubt Pikachu has a lot of fans and for this reason, he was chosen for this prompt. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: James Hopper Jr. a.k.a Jim/Hopper Character Origin: Stranger Things {Netflix Series} Honestly, Joyce is one lucky lady to be dating Jim and Eleven is fortunate to have him as a father. He's suffered so much in the past but that only made him a more caring person. Not to mention he is soooo brave :x3: I would love to have a friendship Valentine date with Hopper; there's so much I believe I could learn from him. To honour Jim, I've drawn a basic cup of coffee. A coffee date would be perfect :3 SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: James Buchanan Barnes a.k.a Bucky/The Winter Soldier/White Wolf Character Origin: Marvel Comics/The Marvel Cinematic Universe How can one not love Bucky? With his good looks {both in the comics and due to Sebastian Stan's wonderful portrayal}, strong friendship with Steve {Captain America} and a villainous backstory {that was not his fault at all!}, it is only logical that he develop a strong fanbase. He is truly one of Marvel's best characters :loved: Bucky was brainwashed by Hydra and his memories suppressed for a number of years; therefore, it was fitting he be assigned this prompt. To honour him, I drew Bucky as The Winter Soldier, the persona that he sported when under the control of Hydra. SPOILER!!: Click! |
*finally able to get back here* Alikins! You are doing some awesome drawings here! I think my fav so far is the Winter Soldier! So good! |
SPOILER!!: Suzyyy! <3 Character Name: Carlos Tomas Reyes Character Origin: 9-1-1: Lone Star {TV Series} Carlos is a police officer and the husband of TK Strand. His determination and drive to help others really gets to me {in a good way} so often. Whereas TK is my second fave Lone Star character, Carlos is my first. Cornish Pixies are chaotic and Carlos' job as and his early life have certainly been that way, hence me choosing him for this prompt. Below is a bearded dragon which represents Carlos; he and TK have one as a pet :3 While there's isn't yellow and orange, from research I saw that there are a few shades bearded dragons come in. I just decided to choose yellow and orange to make the drawing colourful xD SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Bartholomew Henry Allen a.k.a Barry/The Flash Character Origin: DC Comics/The Flash movies & series I adore Grant Gustin and Ezra Miller as the Flash! Their respective portrayals of the character makes my heart & soul so happy! These Barrys' are so kind, wonderful and so energetic! The latter is the reason why I chose flamboyant for Barry. Below is a veryyy crooked symbol of the Flash. I could have done better with the lightning bolt but... ah well  SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Prince Henry George Edward James Hanover-Stuart Fox Character Origin: Red, White & Royal Blue {Books and Movie} Henry, Henry, Henry :loved: Such a wonderful, gentle soul. As a Prince of England, and with so much expectations of him to be a traditional Prince, the fact that Henry is gay posed some challenges to his life. Such a joy and privilege it was to watch him face those hurdles <3 Since Henry is British, I drew the Sterling symbol and filled it {in the case of white, left it that way since the paper is of that colour} with the colours of the name of the book and movie! SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Forsythe Pendleton Jones III a.k.a Jughead Character Origin: Riverdale {TV Series} ; The Archie Comics Since I was a young girl I've been reading the Archie comics {though I stopped during my teen years due to the unavailability of accessing them}. Back then, I don't recall having a favourite character - but I recalled that I really disliked Veronica xD Anyway, along came Riverdale, with Cole Sprouse being cast as Jughead. His portrayal of the character instantly made me fall in love! Jughead has always been mixed up in the dark happenings in Riverdale but he was never the bad guy. Still, I chose this prompt for him because of the snake-like way in which he would slither out of tight situations with the help of his friends. I did a simple drawing of his famous beanie and coloured it in the shades as depicted in the comics and series. SPOILER!!: Click! |
you've completed soooooo many prompts since I've had a minute to come in here *___* (so I've picked out some of my faves) the black sheep is so cute, and the snek too. I think the snake's head is especially well done and pleasing to the eye. AND the ghoul is adorable as heck too (and I continue to enjoy the way you're connecting the prompt, character, and piece). I also really love the firefighter's coat you did. it's very bold with the colours and just really well depicted. and the pikachu!!! so good!! the bearded dragon is, again, adorable (finding a theme here) and I think I agree with suzy, it's probably my fave too. (also, as an aside, your jughead piece had me googling the hat in question and now I kind of want one) |
SPOILER!!: Feely! *__* Character Name: Tobias Character Origin: Animorphs {Books} Animorphs happens to be my second fave book series; I have been a huge fan of them since I was seven or so. My fave character is Tobias. He's the softie, the sweet, gentle teenager. The weirdo. The outcast. The one with one of the saddest life story ever in the history of books :( At the end of the series, and after a lot of tragedy, Tobias chose to live a life of seclusion. He would have rather lived without his memories after all of that. Sadly, that was not possible. For this prompt, a red tailed hawk was chosen as a representation of Tobias. For those who read the books would know that Tobias was trapped in the body of this particular bird. SPOILER!!: Click! |
:faint: You have been so busy!! OMG. I absolutely adore that hawk, so detailed and amazing! And also the bearded dragon and the drawing of Bucky! :x3: very impressive work, Ali! :glomp: |
SPOILER!!: The lovely! <3 Character Name: Clark Kent Character Origin: DC Comics ; Movies/TV Series Truthfully, not all portrayals of Superman have been my fave; I'm partial to the versions from Smallville and Superman & Lois. I simply love that Clark is an alien yet he feels so strongly about the people of Earth, enough to want to protect them all. As Superman, he's a celebrity but as Clark he's simply Lois' husband, a dad and a journalist. Below is my attempt at Superman's symbol :3 SPOILER!!: Click! |
So many prompts completed!!! :faint: I love your dedication to this and your unique spin on these prompts! In particular I really enjoyed the brain and pikachu so far ... but gosh your drawing and coloring is so good on all of these, Ali :loved: |
Wow Ali! You’re almost finished! So much for me to catch up on since I last checked in and look at all these wonderful drawings. I think Bucky and the Beardie are my favourites so far. I’m also proud to say that I’ve understood a vast majority of your references . Look forward to seeing the final weeks worth of drawings. :glomp: |
SPOILER!!: <3 Character Name: Cody Emmett Jameson Anderson Character Origin: Total Drama series{TV Show} Total Drama is an animated series where individuals are put on one of two teams to compete {much like the reality show, 'Survival'}. Cody happens to be my fave contestant. He's often underestimated but he's highly intelligent in his own way, having used those skills during to compete which resulted in him being one of the contestants who stuck around for a long time. Not gonna lie, Cody lights up my life everytime I rewatch the series  There's just something magical about his naivety and easygoing nature. For that reason, I drew a wizard's hat! SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Sunil Jha Character Origin: Loveless {Book} Sunil is a secondary character in Alice Oseman's Loveless. He is one of the characters that I closely relate with since we share quite a few traits: we both of Indian descent, we are Hufflepuffs and we are asexual! Sunil and I are as proud as peacocks about these traits and wear said traits as our crown! Fun fact: Sunil is a partial inspiration for my DADA professor, Dhruv  Fun fact 2: This week is Ace Awareness Week. Here's to all my fellow Aces! :acepride: SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Wanda Maximoff/The Scarlet Witch Character Origin: The Marvel Comics ; The Marvel Cinematic Universe Wanda has been my fave character since we first met her in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Her back story gets to me because it's an incredibly sad one and I loved to watch her character development throughout the years. As The Scarlet Witch, I love how powerful she is. In either of these versions, she is a force to be reckoned with, hence the choice of using this prompt for her. Did a drawing of her headpiece, a design which I have always admired. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Eric Delektorsky a.k.a Delko Character Origin: CSI: Miami {TV Series} CSI: Miami is one of the first crime shows that I got into. I gravitated towards Eric immediately because of his kind nature, sense of humour, good looks and intelligence. Despite these traits, there were some traits and some aspects of his life that weren't immediately made known to the audience, which meant the it was refreshing to see them all come forth. I chose this prompt for Eric since he is fierce when he stands up for stuff he believes in and the persons he cares about. Below is a bit of scuba gear as Eric serves as his team's underwater recovery expert. Green and blue-green are the colours used as they represent the sea/rivers and algae. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Steve Harrington Character Origin: Stranger Things {Netflix Series} Ah, Steve. What can I say about him? Such a negative character in season 1 with his good looks. I cannot stress enough about how proud I am of his character development in the subsequent seasons. That negative, bad boy attitude melted away and we got this kind, caring and fearless Steve! We must protect him at all costs! Shout out to the Duffer Brothers for changing their mind about wanting to write Steve out of the show in Season 1! Below is a drawing of that famous bat Mr. Harrington wields when the monsters are attacking: a baseball bat with the pointy sides of nails protruding. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Jude Lizowski Character Origin: Total DramaRama {Total Drama Series} Jude only appears in one spin off series from the Total Drama franchise but I rather love him! His cool, laid back, chill, hippie-like personality is just a wonderful combination. Since he's often depicted as someone who likes to keep the peace during heated situations, I drew a peace sign for him and coloured it using a few colours of his clothing. Why was Jude picked for this prompt? Lilac is said to represent friendliness, and he is 100% friendly. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Character Name: Nico di Angelo Character Origin: Percy Jackson Series {Books} Nico is yet another character I immediately fell in love with the first time I encountered him. He was such a shy, naive boy but his character development was such a great one! I loved watching him grow from shy to salty to being a soft guy. Being the son of Hades, a closeted gay as well {yes, he was full of secrets}, was never easy for hi but he had some great friends who helped him through the years. For my final piece, I drew a skull and crossbones which represents him as the son of the God of Death. It also represents that Nico is a demigod one shouldn't mess with; just because he seems quiet, it doesn't mean he should be underestimated. SPOILER!!: Click! |
Congratulations on completing Seektober!! *sprinkles with confetti* I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the reasons behind what you have drawn and how you associate them with the prompts! :glomp: |
Alikins!!!!!!!!! YOU FINISHED! Great Job my love! I am so proud of you for completing this years Seektober! Everything you had drawn perfectly represents the characters you chose! Great job! I can't wait to see what you do next year :loved: :glomp: |
ALI!!! Congrats on finishing !!! I've enjoyed your journey and your unique approaches to these prompts!! :glomp: |
first of all, congratulations on completing Seektober! I have just got done catching up on your prompts and have picked out a few favourites (but can I just say first of all that I went snooping on the animorphs wiki (because of your 'say goodbye to your memories' prompt and me getting curious about the character) and that series is so much more complex than I realised. wow.) anyways. the red-tailed hawk you drew is so good, it can be so tricky to get the beaks right with birds like these but this is excellent. and the superman symbol came out really well! I recognised it straight away and just, yeah, so good. it's deceptively tricky to try and draw iirc. the wizards hat is so cute and colourful, and you've pretty much nailed the form of the hat. love the crown too (and the ace pride in the interpretation of the prompt, yee~) the snorkel and mask piece is so fun too; very clean and wonderful colours if I do say so myself. and the SPIKY BAT. those spikes really stand out nicely and really pull the piece together. and your last piece, the skull and crossbones - first of all, excellent choice with Nico there, love that character so much. the piece you did is so clean and looks so neat. ominous and yet kinda cute too congrats again on completing Seektober! :glomp: |
