Grab a pot and come on down! Over here in Greenhouse 4 we are growing some original characters! Inspired by the various original characters (OC) challenges floating around the internet, this Seektober we invite you to flex your creativity and try your hand at creating a zany OC in whatever creative medium you desire. They can be human, animal, robot, fairy, elf...whatever and wherever your imagination takes you! The greenhouse is, after all, filled with an abundance of flora!
Once you have completed your character, post a picture of the final result right here in the thread! Remember that all Snitchseeker image rules apply. A running index will be kept of each OC, so please feel free to chat and comment on each other's work as well

Since centaurs in the series have been introduced more as having one name, I did a scramble of 'Alan' and 'Lovegood' to come up with the above name. She says she prefers to go by 'Nala' since her full name is constantly butchered by non-centaurs and she would prefer to avoid the awkwardness.
ALSO! SO so so so nice to see activity in this thread
Jay, I love the sideburns and I need you to teach me how to draw clothing that isn't flat because that all looks so natural!
Alicia, Math is giving me superhero who speaks in word problem vibes. Like...those problems where Uncle Bill goes to the store and buys 100 bushels of bananas for $40 a piece then how long will it take him to get back home?

Also, I LOVE everyone's results so far! Jay, the movement your artwork has forever blows me away! Ali, I love Math too!! Look at how cool he looks! And your colors turned out so pretty all together! Kath, Nala is absolutely stunning! Her flower shirt is so delicate and beautiful looking, and the white spots on her rump with the bow right behind is gorgeous too!

@Kath:
You've left me stunned into awe with Nalavodogeol {I think it's clever how you scrambled the names}. Nala's so pretty *__* It's the bow on her tail that's my favourite aspect about her! And the feather. Makes me think of quills which in turn makes me think of her as a write
Hehe I spent FOREVER trying to figure out how to incorporate Math's blankie into his image. He's SUPER MATH who's into worded Math problems Thanks for that, Kath! I love it
@Chells:
Evanna is a fairy princess She looks so elegant and humble and as though she embodies ALL of the Hufflepuff House traits!
And thank you! I think I'm in love with warm colours now xD
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

It me. I'm that awkward name butcher. I love Nala.
I think you have that you know how. She is very 3 dimensional from my POV. You've got shading with Nala so great and really all it is with Clothes is finding where the folds would go then shading them properly as well

I love how you have Evanna posed. And the pattern on her scarf around her waist (I think that's a scarf? ) it looks amazing. reminds me of a ladybug.
