Do you have the perfect character already planned? But you are missing just that one key element and you can't put your finger on it?

Well you have come to the right place! *checks map* Yep this is the right place. This is the character workspace. Here you can pose your character question and have it answered by your fellow SSers. We are a mighty helpful bunch.
So if you have a question post it here and someone will help you work through your character speed bump. You don't have to post the entire bio for your character, but just give us enough to go off of so we can help you.

Do you want her to be British? If so, I've always thought Elizabeth is traditional enough--not odd, obviously, but traditional enough to believe in divination. If not Abigail is also a good one, originating from Hebrew. Jasmine and Pernille (I think is Danish) are also my favourites.
Hi! Your introduction sounds perfectly planned. You'll have to wait till September before the School RPG is officially open and you will be able to make your first post for term 29 almost anywhere at the school. Right now you can just focus on RPing your character getting the school belongings in Diagon Alley until Hogwarts Express train is open.

Oooh I like all of the suggestions given above but I thought I'd add a few more these ones are more unusual than the rest I think...
-- Zelda (Someone in one of my classes has that name)
-- Xurumi (pronounced Zuh-roo-me)
-- Melody (not unusual but it gives me a divination-y sort of vibe)

I wouldn't say odd names, but maybe more unique names? Something that makes her different
You could always got with a more common name, but spelt different? Because that would make it unique?
Kinda like - Lucie or Elisabeth or Kellie
or you could go totally unique like; Dawn, Ramona, Rosemary, or Sylvia.

I have a very basic -silly- question. Let's imagine my character is already well defined on my mind. Now, how does it work to "create" it in the SS world? I mean, how do I post its existance, do I have to join it by some way?
I hope I'm explaining myself 'cause I'm new at the site and I have never played RP before on other sites. I've been looking all over SS and can't find where should I register my character.

You don't have to register or do anything beside posting your charrie around. However, there is this thread called Characters Biography in the SS Hogwarts Haven. It's not mandatory to post in there but it helps "posting its existence"

And, also, how do you add the titles like "auror" or else beneath the nickname which I assume are related not only to your achievements but also to the character you're playing... In my case, I've been wondering why it says "flobberworm"
PS: It suddenly changed to Bundimun as soon as I posted this... and you're troll, and I see you are on Environmental Departament and that you're also Louisa Carter and Marina Stewart... I get lost but I'm trying to learn all about the site...
