Antigone nodded and waved as Erik turned to leave. "I will be seeing you soon, Erik.

Antigone held her hand out for JJ to shake and said, "Well, J.J. I am Antigone McArdle, your new Department Head, as you are well aware. Wow, you have been here for quite some time then, eh. And I will keep in mind that I can count on you."

Pushing herself off of the edge of the desk she made her way back to her chair, sat down and pulled her feet up so that she was sitting cross legged in the chair. "So, is there anything I can help you with?" she asked with a small smile. She was super stoked that everyone seemed to want to introduce themselves to her. It made her feel welcome!

"Well glad to meet you Antigone McArdle" J.J. Starr told her. " I want to be the first one in on our plots" Joe jon montcenaggio said to Antigone. " What would you like me to call you?" J.J. asked her. "Do you mind if I help run the small office of The Magical Inspections Committee when you ae busy or are on business trios?" J.J. Starr asked her.

Erik left the office after saying the last good-byes for the evening.

Antigone quirked an eyebrow at the man and tilted her head to one side. "J.J. I can't treat any of you differently, so I am afraid you will have to wait to find out about our work when the others find out," Antigone said in a flat voice. She appreciated determination, but that was a bit out of hand. Straightening up in her chair she smiled tightly and said, "Well, Ms. McArdle or Antigone either one is fine with me. And I am sorry but there is not enough of a budget to have two Division Heads right now. We are such a small department you know. And Gretta will be filling in if ever I need to be away from this office, which I plan on NOT happening."

Charlie finally stood in front of Antigone's office. He knocked on the door lightly and waited to be told he could enter. He started to whistle a song he had heard the other day on the muggle radio while he waited. It had been stuck in his head since had heard. It was just that catchy.

Hearing another knock, Antigone flicked her wand and sent the door swinging open. "Come on in!" she called out to the man on the other side. She was feeling the love from the employees, oh yes she was!

Directing her attention back to J.J. Starr she asked politely, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" Obviously dismissing him to see to the next employee that was knocking.

Charlie watched as the door swung open. He heard Antigone beckoning him inside and entered as he was told. He saw that she was still talking to JJ. He stood near the door and waited patiently for his turn to talk to Antigone.

Chloe had just submitted her report about Professor Bunbury earlier that day, but she was eager to talk to Antigone about it. After knocking politely on the door, she sat down in a nearby chair, crossing her legs at the ankles and folding her hands in her lap. She waited patiently, imagining the new boss probably had someone in her office already.

Smiling at Charlie she said, "Hey there Charlie, isn't it. What can I do for you?" She propped her elbows on the table, and propped her chin on her cupped hands.

Oh my! Another knock! Antigone was loving that her employees were so comfortable with her already. Smiling she called out, "YOu may come on in!"

Chloe opened the door and entered the office. There seemed to be a party going on! She smiled at the two men already in the room, nodding at the cute one who she thought was named Charles or something like that. Then she turned and focused on Antigone. "Ms. McArdle, I was just stopping by to see if you had received my report." Chloe was here on a mission. She felt personally offended that there were professors at Hogwarts behaving so inappropriately when she desired nothing more in the world than to be teaching there. She certainly would not behave the way this Anastasia Bunbury had behaved, especially not for some man.

Charlie smiled at Antigone. "Yes, I'm Charlie. And I just came to introduce myself and ask if you needed anything else done besides the report on Professor Marcus Lawson." He figured he should specify because Lawson had married the CoMC teacher recently.

Antigone smiled kindly at Chloe as she conjured up another chair for her. Clutter, AH! She would vanish it after Chloe vacated it though, so worries. Antigone then told her, "Have a seat dear. Thank you for completeing the assignment so quickly! The report you submitted was excellent, just what I was looking for! So would you like to discuss it with me?"

Antigone considered this for a moment and nodded her head, "Actually there is something that you could do, if you don't mind... I am needing to even out the staff between the two divisions so would it be too much trouble to have you switch? YOu will be working on the same thing over there, so no new assignment. Just a move to the other office." She smiled encouragingly and waited for him to give an answer.

Charlie thought about it for a moment. He was going to say no when he remembered that that was Briony's department. He smiled at the thought of being able to see her more often and to actually work with her. "Yeah, sure. I'll just gather my things and move to the other office." He started to leave. He stopped in the doorway. "Is that all?" He wanted to be sure before he left.

Antigone clapped her hands together, good employees she has. YAY! Her smile was wider than it had been all day. "Oh thanks for being so cooperative, Charlie. Yes, please pack up and move over there. And if you have no questions for me you are dismissed," she told him with a nod of her head.

Charlie smiled at his new boss. He nodded his head in recognition as he was dismissed. He walked away from her office, already planning how to move the mess of his.

Chloe just watched the exchange between Charlie and Antigone, deciding she would wait until the new boss was finished with this matter of business before she openly discussed the digressions of a Hogwarts professor. Once Charlie had left, she turned to Antigone and said, "Yes, ma'am. I wondered if you had any questions for me or if there was anymore information you needed."

Antigone looked back to Chloe after waving Charlie out the door and said, "Well, actually I would rather you tell me why this information is important and what you think the next step should be in the case of Bunbury." Oh yes, Antigone was really eager to see what her employees thought should happen to these twisted Professors!

Chloe gave Antigone a skeptical look. Did she really want to know what Chloe's true feelings were about the matter? Chloe might be treading on thin ice here very soon, but Antigone did say she valued honesty. She clasped her hands together tightly in her lap, trying to control the anger and bitterness that was going to come out with these words. "Well, Ms. McArdle, I know that perhaps I am not as old as many of the professors, and perhaps I have not had the same amount of work experience, and because of these factors I might be a bit ignorant of how the world truly works. However, her behavior seems highly inappropriate. She should not have had such a close, personal relationship with a fellow professor. It sends the message to the children that members of the opposing sex are more important than education..."

And now Chloe was positively seething. She stood up and began pacing slightly. "Don't get me wrong, Ms. McArdle. I am a very caring and compassionate person, and I love romance and love and all of that, but I would never have an inappropriate relationship with another professor. And I most certainly wouldn't go to pieces if the man I was seeing was convicted of a crime and locked away. It would just mean that he was obviously not good enough for me. It upsets me that they have morally corrupt professors who don't understand boundaries teaching at this school when there are people with passion and integrity who are more interested in teaching young minds and caring about those children than their own dating lives."

After taking a few deep breaths, Chloe sat back down, an absolutely embarrassed look on her face. "I'm so sorry for my outburst, Ms. McArdle. I am just... very passionate about education and believe the students of Hogwarts deserve the professors who not only know their content area but who are wonderful educators and great role models, and I feel that this is not currently happening at Hogwarts." She looked at Antigone across the desk, hoping the woman wouldn't judge her for not being able to control her passions. Things were simply not okay at Hogwarts. Those kids deserved better.

Antigone listened carefully at all Chloe had to say. She was really impressed with her! She had a lot of gumption, this one. When she was done Antigone smiled at her and said, "Never apologize for having passion for your job, Chloe. I think it is admirable that you feel so strongly about the teaching of the younger witches and wizards."

Antigone began to tap her fingers absent mindedly on the desk as she thought over what Chloe had just shared with her. "I do find it troubling that Professor Bunbury is letting this affect ehr job. It is very troubling indeed. The only thing I disagree with you about is the Professors seeing one another. Lawson and his new wife work together and it has not affected their ability to work together as far as I can tell. We can't go around making a general comment about workplace relationships when some have been known to work out with no issues. It is such a common occurence now. Hmmm," Antigone said as she tapped her fingers some more.

"I have been led to believe that Bunbury is not exactly what one would call friendly to the kids most of the time. That is my biggest concern with her at the moment. If she is treating the children poorly then we will need to consider what steps to take. Thank you very much for your input. I do value all of you guys' input. Now I will be seeing about getting you another professor to look into once everyone has taken one for themselves," Antigone told her with a tight smile on her face.

"I really think you are aces at this job, Chloe and I am certainly glad to have you on me team," Antigone praised her. "Is there anything else you would like to discuss?" she asked her.

"Thanks for listening to me" J.J. Starr told Antigone. " I will be there for you at all times" joe jon Montcenaggio said to her. J.J. walked out of her office back to his work station.

This was so embarrassing. Wes had been away from the Ministry soooo long, that he forgot how to get to the Minister's office. He was a disgrace as a Department Head! Eventually, he found himself in the Department of Magical Education, which was obviously NOT the right place. Still, he knew if he wandered around any longer, he'd end up hopelessly lost in a broom closet or something like that, so he decided he'd suck up his pride and ask for directions.

He tracked down the Department Head's office and knocked, waiting to be let in. If this person didn't know how to get there...he was in trouble.

Antigone smiled at J.J. Starr and gave him a nod in thanks before turning her attention back to Chloe.

Bloody Hell, so many people at the same time... head may esplode. Antigone held up a finger to ask Chloe to hold on, got up from her desk and opened the door. Oh my! Another one off of the cute Ministry man tree! Rawr! She looked the man over quickly and then looked him in the eyes. Smiling tightly she said, "Well, you aren't one of my employees are you? May I help you?" She opened the door wider so as to invite him in.

"Erm, no, I'm not," Wes said, walking into the office. Oh great, he had interrupted a meeting with someon else! Bloody fantastic. How fast could word travel across the Ministry that the Level Three Department Head had NO idea where the Minister's office was?

"I was actually wondering if you could point me in the direction of the Minister's office? I've been away from the Ministry for a while and, to be honest...I can't remember which bloody direction it's in," he said with a small chuckle.

Antigone blushed and leaned in a bit closer and in a whisper admitted, "I am brand new to the Ministry meself and haven't the foggiest idea of where the office is, to be honest." Maybe he would come in and have a seat.. or ask her to accompany him... Rawr! She would follow this one anywhere. WOAH! Snap out of it Antigone.. be professional!

"Knock-Knock?" A very large, jovial-looking wizard hung out on the outside of Antigone's door. Rather than knocking, the wizard first tried to speak the words, his hands being full of a bushel and a small box. In a moment if there was no reply, he'd try levitating the items and knocking for real, but for now, he was content to wait patiently for whomever was on the otherside of the door to let him in when they were ready.
