I mistakenly believed the conversation was over, and I should have been paying attention. Don't apologize. I was the one in the wrong." Chloe looked at Ronan for support, waiting for him to back her up. They had, after all, both gotten in trouble for the same act. He should speak up, right? Or was Chloe going to do all of the talking. Then she turned back to Antigone with a kind look in her eyes, "And as far as caring about you, you know that I am always here for you whenever you need me," she said quietly.

"That's right Antigone, you shouldn't be the one apologizing for our poor behaviours." he explained looking to the young woman with a firm expression. "Like I said in my essay, I would really like to prove to you that I can work hard in this department. I realize that I haven't shown much of a good start and given our previous history..I would really like this to be a fresh beginning starting right now where I can show you that I can be a good employee." the young man explained being careful as to not expose anything of the pair's past while Chloe was in the room.
Ronan hated to see anyone cry, particularly women, it always just made his heart melt. "Antigone, are you sure that you don't want me to get you something to calm you down?" he asked once more for firm measure.

Antigone smiled weakly throught the tears that still fell down her face. "I think I may be too hard on you all sometimes. I just want things running efficiently and I feel that... oh Hell.... Talk all you want to as long as you get your work done. No one listens to me anyway. As soon as I leave it is back to the way things were before," she said in a sad defeated voice.
"I am just used to things being a certain way and I get a little bent out of shape when things aren't the way I feel they should be. I do owe you both apologies for my reprimanding you for simply getting to know one another," she said.
Looking to Ronan she smiled weakly yet again and said, "Maybe a Calming Draught would be okay." Then she turned her attention to Chloe and said, "You are one of my best friends and one of my best employees, you deserve to have a break from work sometime. I apologize for my snapping at you."
SHe knew she was babbling a bit, but she was truly upset for acting so crazily in front of her employees.

"It's really quite alright Antigone." he insisted looking to Chloe and then back to the department head. "If you will allow me, I will get the Calming Draught, I have some at my desk..left over for personal reasons." he explained with a crooked grin to show that he meant no harm. "I will be back with it in no time." Ronan said, turning on his heel and going out of the office to get the Calming Draught for the distraught young woman.

"Antigone, you are the boss, and the work area should be run as you wish it to be. Ronan and I made a mistake, and I am so very sorry for that. You were already upset, and then we just made it worse. We didn't mean to, and I will continue to conduct myself however you please in the work area," she said with a tone of deepest sincerity. And then something caught her ear and she sat down in a chair across from Antigone's desk, a bit of hope back in her eyes. "What do you mean a break?" she asked, brushing her hair out of her face with her left hand. Quote:

"I'm engaged!!" she exclaimed happily.

Seraphina was nervous. There was no other way of putting it. It had been 3 years since her graduation from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and she had spent the last 2 years traveling the world and learning as much about magical beasts and plants as she could (it was kind of her thing). She took a deep breath and knocked on her new boss's door.
