Asher smiled at her, very happy and thankful that she enjoyed it. "He told me to let you borrow it. Why? I have no idea. I tried leaving the book and it kept being thrown at me. I finally took it." Asher told her as she flipped through the old battered book. He missed reading fables to the kids, especially in Greek. He'd make sure that his kids could speak Greek, they would be half Greek afterall with Asher full blooded...Am I thinking about kids? Asher asked himself. He shook his head in confusement, when did that happen? Kids?

She looked at his hand on her shoulder with a smile "Yeah, but daddy's arms is a good place to sleep." she grinned "I should know." she ran her finger over James' cheek again and started walking in the direction of Brian's office happily, loving being with her family.

Asher watched as Becca, his boss walked pass with Jame's in her arms. He smiled at the family, he could see Chloe being a wonderful mother. He'd take good care of his family, he did it already didn't he?

Chloe honestly almost teared up when Asher said that Junior had wanted her to see the book. She looked up at Asher with a bit of a sappy expression on her face. "Aw! Did he really?! Maybe I should read it to him the next time I come over! Do you think he'd like that?" she asked, getting extremely excited. This thing with Junior was so odd. Poor boy... he just wanted someone to love him. And Chloe would do just that.

"I'm fairly sure, he's the only one who throws books at me." Asher laughed quietly. He then smiled, "I'm sure he'd really like that Chloe." he told her kissing her forehead again. "He likes to be read to." Asher nodded, though he hadn't quite picked the right book. The books he read outloud were always slammed shut.

Chloe looked up at Asher for a moment a giggled, smiling even bigger when he kissed her forehead. Tilting her head a bit to the side as he explained the next part, she said, "Well, maybe he was trying to give you a hint but chucking this book at you!" She closed the book carefully and took out her book again. With a flick of her wand, she banished the book to her desk in the office. After putting her wand back away, she looked up at Asher and said, "So what were you doing just randomly roaming Level Eight?"

"Well, when he threw the book the last time. He spoke, "Chloe" so I gathered that possibly he wanted you to borrow the book." Asher told her, it wasn't rocket science, but he had no idea why Junior wanted Chloe to read the book. "I was heading up to a level to deliever that book, but found the recipient(sp?) in front of this window." Asher explained. And...he was doing a lot of wandering around the ministry lately to see the new changes.

Chloe practically teared up again. Junior actually said her name? AWW! "Thats... well... that's..." she trailed off, not really knowing what she had been trying to say. She was actually at a bit of a loss for words. Which was odd because she almost always had something to say. AND Asher had been willing to brave actually entering another department to come find her. Things around the office had been a bit tense lately, and he knew that, so she would have loved to see his face wandering aimlessly around the department trying to find her. "Well, how ironic! I was wandering down this way hoping to find you! Not for any particular reason... other than I just wanted to see you!" Chloe flashed him one of her sweetest smiles and reached out, taking both of his hands, playing with his fingers a bit.

Asher tilted his head to side, was Chloe at a loss of words? That never happened! Asher almost felt smug that he had Chloe speechless for once. "Aha." Asher said with a smile. "What a pair we are!" Asher chuckled, only would they bump into each other, one pull a wand, the other get silly, and then say they were looking for each other.

Something caught in Chloe's chest, and she smiled up at him. "That we are." Chloe stood on her tiptoes and gave him a soft kiss before just wrapping her arms around him in a hug and closing her eyes. To her imagination came the playground she had just seen out the window. She sighed quietly and said, a bit randomly, "I want to be a teacher. I miss being around kids."

Asher wrapped his arms around Chloe tightly, not wanting her to anywhere anytime soon. He kissed the top of her head as she closed her eyes, he wanted to know what was on her mind. But she soon voiced it. He smiled, though it was random. "I know." he sighed. Why did he keep thinking of kids...did he want to stay with Chloe for that long, to get married and have the whole family?......yes.

Chloe felt her body relax in Asher's arms. This was perfect. This was bliss. This was where she wanted to stay... right here in his arms. She wanted things to be this way forever. Forever? Yes... yes. Forever. She wanted to feel this way for the rest of her life. She could hear his heart beating in his chest, and when his lips brushed the top of her head, she felt her heart melt even further into his soul. Then something brought a playful smile to her lips and she looked up at him. "What are you thinking about, my love?" she asked quietly.

Asher felt Chloe relax, it seemed his hugs calmed her down. And with the state of her department, it was probably a good thing he had ran into her on his way up...he wasn't for sure if he was going to get accepted in the department or not if he made it up there. Asher was puzzled as of how to answer that question. He didn't want to put it out there right now he wanted to basically spend the rest of his life with her. "The future." he smiled into her hair, a vague answer was better than no answer at all. His watched beeped once, signaling that it was time to get back to work. He continued to hold Chloe in his arms, he didn't want to leave just quite yet.

Chloe giggled quietly as his response. Typical, "I don't want to tell you my real feelings," male answer. Holding the same close, relaxed position, she said nonchalantly, "What about it?" There was something more to what he was thinking about it. Chloe could tell. Asher never thought about anything that vaguely. And then his watch beeped in her ear, and she jumped a little in his arms, only to cling to him tighter afterwards. She wasn't going to leave until he did. Nope, nope. Antigone would understand, right? Suuuure....

"Just the future in general, nothing specific." He told her pulling back from their embrace though he really didn't want to. He looked down at her with a grin and kissed her on her forehead. "I've got to go." He told her with a grimace.

Chloe giggled a little louder as Asher pulled away from her. "I don't think you're telling me the truth, Mr. Holden!" she replied playfully, smiling as he kissed her forehead. And then he said he had to go. Unfortunately, she had figured that that was what that beep had meant. Her hands slid from behind his back and down his arms slowly until they found his hands. Her fingers intertwined themselves with his, and she looked up into his eyes. "Don't think you're off the hook of giving me a proper answer just because you have to go back to work." Standing on her tiptoes, she kissed. REALLY kissed him. And when the kiss broke, she gave him a small, sad smile. "See you later, my love?"

Asher gave her a playful look. "I most certainly am telling the truth." he told her, I'm just not exaggerating. as he laughed. "I'll tell you what was on my mind one of these days." Asher smiled after they kissed. He kissed her hands and nodded, "Yes, if I ever get out of here." He smiled before he walked off towards the lifts to head back down to the department of mysteries.

Chloe tried to open her mouth to argue several times, but every time, he did something to make her forget what she was about to say. And then, through her laughter, she shouted out him down the hallway, "You better tell me soon or it's going to drive me mad not knowing!" Taking out her wand, she gave it a little flick, sending a little pinch at his arm. Once he disappeared inside the elevators, she gave the playground outside the window one last look, and then took off to return to her work.

"Oi!" Asher said grabbing his arm and turning around. "Pinching me won't tell you any time soon! I'll talk when I feel like it." Asher laughed. He turned around and kept walking taking his wand out and flicking it to send a tickle to her sides. "Love you darling!" he smiled as he got on the lift.

As Chloe was walking down the corridor when she felt as though someone was tickling her sides. She fell into a wall, holding her side and giggling madly. Whipping her head around, she saw Asher disappearing inside the grill. She just shook her head in amusement and continued walking. In her heart of hearts, all she could hope was that things between her and Asher would always be this way. So loving, so affectionate, so wonderfully perfect.

Emma had walked through the corridor, and stopped in front of the enchanted window. She had always liked the window, the colours and the feel of being near it. She smiled, turning to the man she was with.

"This is the enchanted window. Its colourful dont you think?" She asked smiling.

Jason smiled. It was good to be back at the ministry again. He noticed a girl standing by the enchanted window and waved. "Hey." He said, tucking his hands back into his pockets.

Emma turned at the voice of someone, she didnt want to be rude to the person she was showing round, but neither to the person in front of her.

"Hey" She said smiling.

"Hi, my name's Dominic and it's nice to see you. I've alaways wondered what was so enchanted about this window." He said. He really couldn't see what was so majic about it.

Emma looked over at the window again, a smile playing on her lips. "It is magical isnt it?" She asked quitely, she had always liked the window, the picture and the feel she had towards it. She smiled.
