You're standing in front of one of the the most exciting things within the Ministry. The Enchanted window. This lovely window excite the soul, and occupy the imagination. Its pleases, attracts, delights your every thoughts. Get closer to the window to cherish your mind or feel whatever you wished. Interesting, eh? ;)



OOC: All Ministry of Magic employees, regardless of their assigned department, are welcome to create their own roleplay in this thread.

Passed the entrance and the wide corridor, Brian's legs stopped him just in front of the enchanted window in his level. It was the place that he always wanted to spend the time with to recharge his energy batteries before and admist of his heavy schedule. He wish he was with his Becca now to share his pleasant thoughts.

Carrying sleeping baby James on the way back to Brian's office, Becca had to stop to shift the bag. Crouching down, she kissed James' head gently and held him in one arm. Now she was sorted, she stood up and caught sight of a very familiar outline by the window. "Dadddyyy" she called over to him, being sure not to wake James.

He was so lost in his sweet thoughts, yes, no doubt. But not upto not hearing that sweet and loving voice. It was so enchanted than this window, thousand times more.

"Hey..mummy" he smiled at her and moved over to her, taking a look at their cute lil son, James, "How are you both doing?" he asked and leaned over to kiss her forehead with his arm around her waist gently.

She grinned at her husband and then put her other arm under James, holding him safely "Great, sleepy here has been playing around again." she giggled softly "He seems to like pulling my hair." she grinned, leaning against Brian happily after his kiss on her forehead "Does daddy want to take his boy?" she asked, smiling.

He grinned and looking down at James, eagerly. Boy he looks so gorgeous even in his sleep. Beaming slightly he laughed midly, "Aha. I thought he likes my hair only" he teased her and gently pulled her closer to him. "Yeah, I missed him so much" he nodded his head, re-assuring his longings to hold their bundle of joy in his hands again.

She giggled softly "It seems like he's found out mummy's hair is easier to pull." she grinned, relaxing against him. When he nodded, she smiled widely and carefully handed James over to his daddy, happily. "He missed you too, he kept looking around, trying to find you after we left you."

Taking his son in arms safely, he bent down his head and kissing on his soft, flawless cheeks. "How cute he's!" he couldnt stop telling this since he was born.

"Mmm..seems so.." he smiled and led her towards the window. "I was lost in my thoughts just before you came " he held James closer to his chest and letting her feel the effects of that blessed window.

She giggled softly and watched Brian "I know, he's like his dad." she winked, loving to see her husband and baby boy together.

She moved with him happily and then smiled, looking up at the window "I can see why." she breathed, looking up at the window dreamily. Snuggling close to Brian, Becca couldn't take her eyes off it or let her family go.

He laughed quietly, "You're so stubborn" he squeezed her gently closer to him.
"Very pleasant and mind warming place. Not much useful for me though b'cuz I've this beautiful family and peaceful atmosphere already" he smiled at her warmly and taking another fond look at their son.

She giggled softly "Of course" she snuggled closer to him without taking her eyes off the window.

"Mmmm.. It is, and the same for me, but it intensifies the feelings." she smiled, looking at Brian and James now "Being with my family is the best of my day." she kissed Brian's cheek gently.

Smiling happily he stood in front of that magicaly enchanted window with his family in his safe arms. "You want to come to my office or you have work to do?" he asked softly, careful about his talks only not to startle James in his sleep.

"Don't be so silly" Becca giggled, moving close to Brian "Always your office." she winked, looking at James "We should move from here, it's distracting seeing two of you and two of James." she grinned.

He smiled and rubbed on her upper arm softly. "Then let's go, we should make him sleep in better position. " he said, started moving towards his office with them. He felt himself a blessed man for the millionth time for having everything beautiful in his life.

Chloe was making her way along a lower corridor when something intrigued her, tugged at her to stop. Turning, she saw a huge, ornate window. Walking closer to it, she looked out on... what looked to her to be a playground with lots of children running around happily wearing bright colored clothing. The trees were huge and green, and the grass was thick. There were flower beds here and there. She smiled as she just stared out the window and watched. She wanted to go play with them...

Asher was making his way up to Chloe's office on his break to see what she up to. He had found an old Greek children's fable written in English in the library, and wanted to suprise her with it for her to borrow it. Walking past the large ornate window, he noticed Chloe standing there. He stopped for a moment and quietly stepped up behind her. "What do you see?" he asked holding the book behind his back.

Chloe jumped about four feet into the air, and her wand was out of her holster and pointing at the person behind her at lightening speed. She stood there ready to fight for a second before she registered who it was in front of her, and her wand arm dropped to her aside and her other hand came up to cover her mouth. She looked absolutely mortified. "Oh! Asher! I am so so SOOO sorry. You scared me!" she put her wand away and then hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry. With everything that's been going on at the school, I've just been kind of on edge. I'm so so sor-..." And then she noticed something hard behind his back, and she felt it. It felt like a book. "Hey, what's that?"

Asher backed up just as quickly as Chloe had spun around with her wand out. He gave her a pointed look as she realized who it was in front of her and put her wand safely away. "It's alright darling." he smiled, it hadn't been the first time he had a wand pulled on him, though it was a first at the ministry. A first that it was Chloe. And a first that he hadn't pulled his wand in response. He hugged her back one armed, still holding the book behind his back. "I don't answer questions until you answer mine." He told her looking into the window. There were heavy gray clouds covering a sea of water that looked all to familiar of the sea he used to visit daily in the summer in Greece. He looked down at Chloe waiting for her response.

Chloe sighed a bit in relief. She was glad he wasn't mad at her. That would have been a baaaaad fight. She pouted a little at what he told her, and then looked back out the window. "I see a playground. Flowers. Trees. And lots of kids playing and laughing and... just being happy and being kids." She turned back to him and noticed him staring out the window, and she got curious. "Why... isn't that what you see, too?"

Bad anology...sorry. Lol.
 

Asher smiled at her as she recounted what she saw through the window. He didn't want to tell her of the gloomy picture he saw out the window. The picture he knew that conveyed what was on his mind. Wanting answers about Greece, but clouding his mind up enough that he didn't want them anymore. "No, that's beside the point." he told her with a grim smile. "Don't you want to know what I've got?" he asked raising his eyebrows at her.

Chloe looked between Asher and the window a few times. Obviously, he didn't want to tell her what he was seeing. She bit her lip for a moment, thinking about pressing him for it, but then she remembered she had just pointed a wand in his face and decided to drop it. Though she was still curious about what was out the window, but she turned away from him and looked interested in whatever it was he had behind his back again. "Yes! Tell me!" she said, messing with the collar of his shirt.

For a moment, Asher thought that Chloe was going to question his answer to her questin. But she dropped it, he was thankful for it. He didn't want to bring up Greece once again. It seemed like they talked about it quite often while he was trying to push it to the back of his memory. "Well, do you like children's fables?" he asked, hoping the answer would be yes...or he'd looked ridiculous at the moment.

Chloe let out a little laugh and let her hands drop from his collar. She stared at him with amused disbelief on her face. "Asher, when I look out that window, I see kids playing on a playground, which apparently isn't what everyone is seeing. If you haven't figured out by now that I loooove children and everything having to do with them, you're just not paying attention to me." She held out her hands expectantly. "Let me seeeee! Pleeeeaaaaase!" she pretended to whine and pout.

Asher smiled, "I know!" He exclaimed like a small child. "I have been paying attention, how could I not?" he asked with a lopsided grin kissing her forehead. "Now, just wait a minute." he told Chloe, keeping the book hidden safely behind his back. "I found this book in the library thanks to Junior. It's an old Greek fable. Translated to English." He paused, "It's a thick book, but there's pictures in there too." He explained he waited a few more seconds before pulling the book out from behind his back.

Chloe just giggled as Asher got all excited. in the middle of the hallway. at work. He was so silly right now, and Chloe loved it! She didn't get to see him like this very often. She liked it when he was happy and excited and playful. She stood there a bit impatiently as he explained about the book, and she nodded. Aww... Junior had picked it out. That was so cute! Maybe she could read it to him sometime. "Okay! Okay! I get it! Let me seee it!" And then he finally pulled it out and let her see it. She took it in her hands, examining it. "Asher, this is so... cool!" She said as she began to flip through the book.
