This cleanly decorated room is to be used for meetings of any description, whole department or even just a couple of divisions meeting up to share results and talk stuff over. Please ask the department head for permission to use the room first.

As you walk in, a cupboard opens and reveals more chairs, feel free to use them. Don't be scared to bring stuff in here, including refreshments, but if you spill it, you clean it!

Melina walked into the conference room and sat down in one of the chairs. Starring at something, but nothing on the other side of the room, she thought, Wonder what this meeting will be about. Must be very important for all of the Divisions to be here. Glancing around the room, Melina noticed it was amazingly clean and beautifully furnished. It was her first time in the conference room and she wanted to take it all in slowly.

Forcefully, Kris walked into the conference room. He didn't have a key to this room, so it must be new to the level. Probably a part of their new department head's doing. Oh, there were so many things he could say about this situation, but he would lose his job.

He placed his tan hand on the cold, silver doorknob and braced himself. Peeking into the room, he didn't see anyone new sitting in there, just Melina. She was such a good employee, there was no doubt about that.

Nodding his head towards Melina, he took a seat next to her and couldn't hide the smirk that was creeping across his lips. Their Department Head wasn't even here. Tisk tisk.

Finally making her way to the room after assuring herself that she was okay to do this confidently, Becca smiled and straightened out her grey dress before walking in and looking around the room. She placed a grey file on the side and then leant against one of the metal grey cabinets with a smile. Saying nothing to Kris or the employee she hadn't met yet, she looked at the wall and waited for others to get into the room.This was a whole department meeting, now to see who turned up.

Edilson was standing outside the Conference Room, debating whether to go in alone or wait for his Division Head to show up first. He was impatiently tapping his feet as he waited and waited for Alyss Glass, the Division Head of the The Locked Room. "Where is she? I might get late.." He muttered under his breath and finally it was decision time.

Going with his instincts to join the conference without her, Edi twisted the door knob and opened the door slowly as he peered through the slightly ajar door. Absorbing the inner environment, Edi slid inside the room and smiled at the three faces. Squinting his eyes a little, he could only recognize one face and that was Kris. Passing him a friendly smile, his green eyes glanced at the two ladies, hmm he had seen one of them around the break room but he wasn't so sure about the other lady.

But soon it dawned upon him that the other lady might be their new Department Head since Miss. Vivaldi had decided to leave. Walking over to her slowly, Edi smiled at the woman, "Edilson Mills." He said with a nod and stuck his hand out to her, "You must be Becca Lee our new Department Head? Pleasure to meet you ma'am and sorry that I couldn't personally visit your office to greet you." He apologized and with a smile, he strode towards one of the empty chairs and sat down on the corner one while smoothing his tie.

"Hi Kris, it's been a long time since I saw you last. How have you been, mate?" He murmured and smiled at the other woman, not wanting to murder the silence of the room.

The gaze of the woman dressed in grey turned straight to the door as someone else entered. A warm smile appeared on her lips. When he approached her slowly, she took in his appearance and listened to his introduction "Good morning Mr. Mills" Becca smiled and shook his hand "Yeah, I am" she nodded and then shook her head "Forget about it.. and call me Becca, please" she smiled again and watched him take a seat. Still leaning against the metal, grey cabinets, she glanced at the door and waited for more people to appear through the door.

Kate walked through the door into the Conference Room to see a number of people already there. She walked over the the only unfamiliar face.

"Hello, I'm Kate, from the Locked Room, you must be the new department head?" she asked politely.

Melina grinned back at Kris in responce to his nod and then smiled back at the unfamiliar face and decided that an introduction was needed, afterall, there were four people in the , besides herself and the only person who knew her was Kris.

"Hello, Melina Morretti-Papadakis. It's a pleasure to meet the three of you.", Melina said, grinning, to the man and two women who had all introduced themselves, and held out a hand for them to shake.

DH walked towards the opened door of the Conference room. He had heard many things about the new Department Head so he wanted to meet her personally.

When he saw the room, it was already packed with people. He was not late, they are only early. So he approached the new department head and said, "Mrs. Lee, I am so glad that I finally got to meet you in person. I have heard so many things about you."

"Hello Kate" Becca greeted her with a smile "I am.." she nodded and then smiled around the room "I'm Becca..." she introduced herself again and crossed her legs as she kept leaning relaxedly against the cabinets.

Her gaze fell onto the woman who'd just introduced herself "Morning," Becca nodded to her and shook Melina's hand "Nice to meet you, too." she smiled warmly and then looked towards the door as someone else walked through it.

She'd read this man's file. She knew who he was. He was one of her division heads! Becca took in his appearance "Call me Becca." she smiled and nodded "Oh, heard things?" she grinned "Good or bad, Mr. Smith?" She wasn't sure if there had been anything bad to tell, really.

AHHH! Fail.

She was totally late. Pushing the door to the Conference room open, Alyss slid herself into the room, trying desperately not to drop the folder she was carrying in one hand, and the steaming hot cup of.. Oh haha... Jasmine tea in the other hand. Giving an apologetic strained smile to the woman who she was sure she hadn't seen before, she sat down in between Edilson and Kate, smiling at the latter, and ignoring the former. "Do forgive my lateness," She said, almost breathlessly.. Weeellll, it wasn't her fault that the bus had broken down...

"Alyss Glass, I'm the division head for The Locked Room." Alyss added as a quick introduction... God, she really was hoping that the woman was their new department head, and she hadn't just introduced, and apologised to a total stranger/employee.

"Grr.. it's too tight I can't breathe." Edi muttered under his breath as he played around with his tie..again. He is never too keen on ties but they really finish off the decent work look. Rolling his eyes, he gave a sheepish grin to Kate and slumped a little in the chair, seriously he should get rid of these ties soon. However first, a replacement for them is needed.

His eyes were getting droopy, it seems that the 3 hours of sleep last night wasn't sufficient. He's chucking that video game first thing after work. Focusing on the plain boring wall right in front of him, Edi's head took a sharp 180 degree turn at the sound of that...voice. Pulling himself back together, he smiled dreamily as Alyss slid between him and Kate.

wait. she completely ignored him, like he wasn't there. Frowning a little, Edi rested his head on the table, "Morning, Miss Glass." He muffled lazily and closed his eyes.

get up...get up.. you're in a conference..Edi, NOW!

His eye's shot open and he quickly straightened up, oh maan he's drowsy and sleepy.

Holy hot pink pygmy puffs.

Becca was the new department head?

Kris had his head in his hand, looking around. Seriously? A new department head, and it was someone who didn't even have experience in this field. He had already worked for Becca once, and transferring to here seemed to have worked out better. But now he was working for her AGAIN?

From bad day to worse. OY!

Kris turned to the lad who was talking to him. He nodded his head toward Edilson as the young man sat near him.

"Edi, long time no see," he said. Man, he looked tired and worn out. "You alright mate?"

He eyed Mills carefully, making sure he wasn't sick or anything. Then he put his head down, and Kris wasn't sure what he wa doing.

"Oy," he said, hitting Edi's back lightly. "Wake up. Get some caffeine. Oh, but don't get coffee..."

Becca looked up again and shook her head "Don't worry about it..." she smiled "Nice to meet you Miss. Glass" Becca smiled. She'd read up on her, research was good. And it was the people who she needed to know first. All the other employees would come later.

Becca glanced over as Mr. Mills slipped in his seat and then sighed "Mr. Mills... late night?" she smiled warmly at him and then placed a drink in front of him which she'd just conjured up silently "Should wake you up" she nodded.

Becca watched Kris' reaction and then shook her head. Was she really that bad a boss? She moved behind Kris and bent over a little so her mouth was by his ear "Kris?" she spoke quietly "Can you come to my office after this meeting, please?" she requested before moving away from him and leaning against the cabinet again, pretending nothing had been said.

Kris raised an eyebrow as he heard a voice in his right ear. Oh boy, first day of her job and he was going to get in trouble.

Wait. Trouble for what? He didn't do anything. Not yet, anyway. Not that he was planning on doing anything either. He was just being paranoid and upset.

"Will do," he said quietly, nodding his head.

Where were the other division heads?

Becca nodded to him as he agreed and then looked around the room. "Seems like we're waiting for Miss. Sumner, Miss Effron, Mr. Elderic and their employees. And Mr. Smith, Mr. Atkins and Miss. Glass... are all your employees here?" Becca asked. Maybe an empty threat would get the others up here. No... not on her first day. She was going to be nice.

DH smiled and grinned, "It is a very great review of you." he said looking around for any employees of his. The reviews of course came from her former employees. He was glad she was with them now.

"I'm glad" Becca smiled warmly at him and then looked around the room too "Why don't you take a seat, Mr. Smith?" she offered "I'd love to chat when we this meeting over with" she nodded and smiled at him again, still waiting for an answer to her question.

"Umm.." Looking either sides of her, Alyss shook her head... "I'm missing... Three.. Four employees.." She hadn't met Violet yet, so did she count as an employee..? What?! And it was very odd that Quentan wasn't there yet, she thought that he would of loved to be in here.. Stuck to Kate. Rolling her eyes slightly, she took a sip out of the piping hot cup, burning her tongue in the process. Wouldn't be a real meeting if she hadn't burnt her tongue...

Gah. The employees bit. Maybe she shouldn't have asked that right away. Not now, anyway.

"Well, considering I only had one employee show up this morning," he said, leaning back in his seat. "Yes, she's here. Sitting right next to me."

Bitter, bitter, bitter.

Melina saw the familiarity in Kris' and her new Department Head's eyes. They knew eachother from somewhere and from the looks of it, they weren't very friendly. She inferred, overhearing her asking him to join her in her office after the meeting.

Smiling timidly in her boss' boss' direction, she nodded. It seemed as if Kris was having an awful day at school and he was already being sent to the principal's office for Goodness knows what.

Melina looked over at Kris and gave him a simpathetic smile. She knew what it was like to have an off day, having experienced them herself, but then again, who hadn't had an off day.

Quentan hurried down the Level Nine corridor on his way to a department-wide meeting - which meant it was super-important! And that meant he was super-excited!

Not completely sure which room the meeting was supposed to be in, he started trying all the doors to see which one he thought was correct. He knew it wouldn't be in the Locked Room as that was the one he worked in so he didn't bother with that door. As for the other rooms, he didn't know what they possessed so he randomly opened a door here and there, finding most of them empty until he saw an open door with several people inside - several of them were people from his division.

"Hi, Miss Glass! Hi Edi and Kate!" he waved enthusiastically as he walked into the room. Walking over to his secret-nickname buddy, Edilson, he lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "So what's this meeting all about?" He was brimming over with excitement and if he didn't find out soon, he'd probably burst.

Becca nodded when Alyss spoke. Four employees? Seemed like a decent amount who needed to turn up "Thank you, Miss. Glass" Then her gaze turned to Kris "Alright, we'll talk about that later, Kris" Becca smiled and ignored his bitterness and obvious bad mood. Nodding at Melina, Becca wondered if they already thought she was evil and nasty and mean, 'cause she SO wasn't. She just had things to sort out with Kris. Her train of thoughts came to an abrubt stop as someone all but bounced into the room. Enthusiasm. She loved it! Becca smiled at the newcomer and then looked around again, getting a little frustrated with the people who hadn't turned up.

Edi felt a smack on his back and bolted upright, "I am not good, slept 3 hours last night and now, I can't keep my eyes open." God, he really wanted to just stand up, stretch and yawn like a lion, his body was aching and his stupid thumb was sore.

Rubbing his eyes, Edi tried to listen to what Kris was saying but it sounded gibberish, "Coffee, yeah I want some, please." He tried to gaze up but his droopy eyes were making it hard. He was alright when he joined the conference room, however, the silence and the comfortable chair was making him drowsy. He eyed Alyss a little, huh she's drinking her tea or coffee so..calmly. A guy is passing out, offer some to him, woman!

Edi almost hit head head on the table when Mrs. Lee addressed him. He attempted to sit straight up but his shoulders were slumping again.

Ahh, is she an angel or what? "Thank you Mrs. Lee. This is all I needed." He smiled at her. His eyebrows arched when the Department Head whispered something in Kris's ear, hmm what could that be about?

The coffee was reviving, he could feel it's warmth seeping in his body, thanks to Becca, he was alive again but some people didn't care. After taking a long sip, Edi placed the mug on the table and huge grin plastered across his face. Quent his nick-a-name buddy was here at last.

Quent was also so full of energy and sprightliness, great fun guy he was, "Hello Quent, what took you so long? Got lost Buddy, eh?" He asked taking another tantalizing sip, the coffee tasted extra delicious, God knows why.

Chuckling a little at his top-secret question, Edi dragged a chair for Quent to sit, "Sit sit. You're just in time, I was about to start my cooking lessons." Of course he was joking, sheesh, haha.

Becca smiled at Edi and nodded "No problem, but keep it away from me..." she grinned and moved away from Edi so the coffee wouldn't affect her. She smiled again as he seemed to perk up a little.
