Hagrid hiccuped a sob and shook his head in understanding. "Fanks, miss. That is awful nice of ya tasay," he said before the image shimmered away.
Giving a slightly sad smile, Alina watched the illusion of Hagrid disappear. The first task was complete, it seemed - and she had seemingly approached the firing in the right way. And with that, it was time to work out where to go next...
Sybill Trelawney pulled herself to her fullest height and said, "It was proven that I was INDEED a true Seer. I gave two prophecies that affected the Wizarding World immensely. If you quesion my abilities you question the greatest wizard that ever lived, Albus Dumbledore." She was no longer fidgetting.
Birce raised one eyebrow. Okay, maybe firing a person wasn't the easiest thing on Earth. And she was grateful that she didn't know this woman, or she would never get that courage or calmness to reason with her.
"If you were such a great Seer, surely the reports about you would be excellent, am I not correct? Not to mention you could have been able to interpret on request. There are much more talented Seers out there and you just aren't qualified for this school. If you're that great, I'm sure you will have no diffuculty in finding another job." She made a hand gesture that she was dismissed. Seriously. Just let it go.
At first Prometheus thought a large black bat had swooped through the door, however as it drew closer, he realised it was Severus Snape. "Professor Snape, I am sorry but your position at Hogwarts is no longer available. Your Fatal flaw was your inability to be neither loved, liked nor respected by your students, due to your prickly and rude demeanor. However I am not here today to talk about the past, I am here to discuss your options for the future. After so many years at the school as both staff and student you should seize this opportunity to go away and reevaluate your life, and if you decide you really wish to continue teaching, then the Ministry will be more than happy to help you find your softer side." he said with a smile.
"Oh and Professor Snape, the reason I work for the Ministry, is due to the fact that i was taught by teachers i loved and respected. Teachers who saw potential in me and gave me the chance to succeed and not once put me down, as you have done with some many other students."
Professor Snapes image scowled and turned to sweep out of the room but instead shimmered and disappeared.

"As with all changes, sacrifices must be made, and I'm afraid you are one of those sacrifices. Teaching young children about the importance of divination is more than just theatrics or voice changes. You see professor, as I'm sure you're aware, these students will be out in the real world soon, do you really want them to fail? I sure don't; the way you've been teaching these children have been wrong, you should have helped more, been more curious towards them." he explained, his hands now moving on their own accord. He was flying by the seat of his pants right now, having no clue what he was talking about. "You yourself teach of things to come, having premonitions, surely you must have known that this was coming." he added with a quirked up eyebrow.
This was apparently harder than he thought, as Darius looked on staring the woman in the eye. "You've done a wonderful job teaching our youth, however..." he paused, his face smoothing out into an incredible smile, his hazel eyes soft "It's time for you to move on. We will forever be grateful for your wonderful service to our school." he finished, clearly out of his element. However Darius was good at hiding his emotions, using his good looks to ease everyone. Why couldn't he just take out his comic book and find something useful there? Surely Superman had been through something like this before?

Is that what you call it?" she said in disbelief, organizing the things on her desk before staring straight into his...unbelievably dark eyes. Wow, they matched his heart. "Professor Snape, you are teaching a subject that requires patience, precision, and one needs to be comfortable with what their doing and in their environment in order to succeed in the subject. I know, I know. Don't tell me that you already know this, because obviously you don't if these kids are sitting in their seats and just counting down the seconds where they could leave the classroom and hide in their dormitories for the rest of the day instead of focusing on the task at hand. Fear, humiliation, the fact that sometimes these kids don't even feel safe...this is not the way a Professor should be teaching his class. Especially one that deals with a few certain ingredients that one should be extremely careful with. I am sorry, with all due respect Professor Snape, I really would fire you."
Oh dear Merlin, she was done right? Done?! That all just...came out! Out of nowhere! Now she just needed to, calm down. Let her heart beat settle down and, maybe a black hole could just swallow her up?

And the notorious Professor Umbridge. Judging by the Professor's reactions, Melina guessed that they would be evaluating the teaching skills and abilities of the past mentors. As she soon found an evaluation sheet, she looked it over twice, took a quill out of her pocket and then began to write down her thoughts.
Each Professor has his or her own flaws and wonders.
Professor Flitwick: I must say that I do not agree with the High Inquestor, though it ma just be my style but I believe that a positive and cheerful learning environment is one that leads to successful pupils. However, the Professor does need to maintain more strict disiplinary actions. Also, some would say that more mishaps than necessary have occured in this classroom. As to who's fault that is, I cannot solely put the blame on Professor Flitwick.
Professor Hagrid: I find that this class is one of the more entertaining classes as opposed to say, History of Magic. Hagrid's teaching style is a more... relaxed one than most and makes the learning environment an easier one than a quicker paced class. Also, it is more involved and interactive. I understand that Hagrid's class has lead to injuries, but when dealing with wild animals what are you going to do?
Professor Snape: Professor Snape seems to have a superb knowledge of Potions as well has a firm hand on the classroom. Although Professor Snape is a man who knows how to get his point across, the potions that he has taught seem to be a little advanced for the students that he taught. Having been a Gryffindor/Slytherin rivalry, Snape tended to be biased toward Gryffindors aspecially. Other than that, he is very qualified for his position.
Professor Sprout: I certainly agree about the astound knowledge of herbology and the ability to share that knowledge are key features to the success of Professor Sprout. I do think that the language is a bit disruptive and the students would benefit from a cleaner environment. In my opinion, groupwork is a way to build character but it would be good to do some individual work as students will need to take initiative to do things for themselves in the "real" world.
Professor Trelawney: Though her predictions may seem random and the subject might seem ridiculous to some, it is not a pointless subject. Professor Trelawney might want to work on honing her skills to become a more accurate Seer, and the death/harm predictions should definetly be left out. And even though Trelawney may not be the most lucid seeming professor, she interests the class and gets them involved.
Professor/High Inquestor Umbridge: I believe that Umbridge has made some fair desicions in her examining the other Professors, but she has also used the power of her position to her own personal advantage. This is both unprofessional and unethical. Students also never got the chance to practice what they were learning, and you know what they say: practice makes perfect.
This was a difficult desicion and you are all very unique and wonderful in your own way, but please do not think this makes me think any less of you. If given the option, I would fire Professor Umbridge, and if not given the option, I would fire Professor Trelawney who seemed to be the weaker link of the bunch.
Capping the quill and putting it back in the designated pocket, Melina sat back: done.
The image of Sybill Trelawney came into being in front of the woman and looked sad and put out. "You would have ME fired... what about Hagrid? Or or or someone anyone other than me, dear lady," she pleaded with the woman.

He smiled to himself, but frowned as soon as he heard mention of evaluations. What did this have to do with anything? Honestly. A waste of his time.
Professor Flitwick should be fired because he is an incompetent teacher who doesn't know how to discipline his students and keep them in line. He also isn't serious, and what teacher isn't serious? I'll tell you... a joke of one!
Professor Trelawney should be fired because she is a fraud. What next? A fake Astronomy teacher? What do we go to school for? To be taught by incompetent twits? I know I didn't go to school for that.
Professor Hagrid should be fired because he is incompetent and puts students in danger. Do we want kids to die while at school? No, we do not. He might as well round up some Dementors and use those.
Professor Sprout is like Flitwick. she should be fired for demonstrating what a teacher shouldn't do. Letting students lip off?They are kids! That kind of language is supposed to be used by adults like me.
Professor Snape should be fired for being a jerk.
Then he added at the bottom:
Of all the teachers, Snape is the one most competent.
OOC: You must choose the ONE teacher you want to fire. Please read Miss McArdle's pamphlet over and listen to what she is saying.

"Upon reviewing the High Inquisitor's reports for a few times, I've come up with a surmise that the staff that should be fired is High Inquisitor and Professor Dolores Umbridge herself for she has done nothing but twit other professors teaching skills with pure derision and sarcasm. She should always know as a teacher herself that being a teacher is really a hard profession so instead of turning all the other professor's teachers hope and chances down, she should have encouraged them to be a great teacher. All her reports are therefore unfair and with that being said, she is really the one that should be fired and all the regular Hogwarts professors before her should just continue teaching with high hopes for their students that they'll be a productive and industrious citizens of our beloved country. And for me and with highest respect, I conclude that Professor Snape is the best suited for the job and is the best professor Hogwarts have had, alongside with Professor Dumbledore. Professor Snape is the most competent, most dedicated and most excellent of them all. With perfect and immense teaching and guiding skills and with him being such an authoritative professor, Professor Snape has surely instilled in student's minds that knowledge, respect, and a very good demeanour are the best things a students should always have."

And I believe, by that definition, your own Slytherins qualify much more as the bad seeds as opposed to those who were the targets of your derision. And it truly was derision, not wrath, or however you would like to see it. It wasn't even just the Gryffindors, either. You thought you were better than everyone, while it might surprise you to find out you were not. Even the only reason Professor Umbridge gave as a negative aspect to your teaching skills is not really true. Several students, and not only your Slytherins, are fully capable of brewing the potions she said were beyond their milieu, if they hadn't had you breathing down their necks.
Therefore, your termination is more due to the fact that the students would be much more capable of reaching their true capacities for greatness without needing to worry about the slightest misstep being ridiculed by you, and by proxy your little minions in Slytherin. And even some of those students might prove to be valued members of society without your influence coloring their perspectives. And that decision, sir, is final." "As noble as the art may be, Professor, and as passionate as you may be about it, I have come to the conclusion that you do not possess the proper skills to teach young minds this craft. You, frankly, are a bit of a joke in their eyes. I fail to see how any of them have any respect for you, and this is not conducive to a proper learning environment. Furthermore, though knowledgeable you may be in the different areas of divination, it would seem to me that you have not demonstrated proficiency in any of them and simply make predictions of grandeur so as to interest your students. The students, however, find this act simply amusing and see right through it. Because you are unable to effectively command the respect and attention of your students, you are fired," she said with a finality in her voice, as though the conversation was through and there would be no arguing with her. Chloe could be collected, decisive, and borderline cold when it was necessary, even if this wasn't her day-to-day personality.

Helena took her seat and looked at the Department Head at the front of the room. She listened to her talk and explain, and Helena frowned. She really didn't understand how this was to help them in real life.
Ahh. They'd be firing the illusions. Helena could understand how knowing how to fire someone would help in life, especially if you were inspiring to climb to the top of your career ladder.
Helena looked at the report that was infront of her and began reading it. She sat reading it for a long time, then took out her quill and finally began to write on the back of the page:
There are a number of things that catch my eye in Ms. Umbridge's report, things that I do not agree with, and that I find very biased. Firstly, Professor Flitwick. It is generally common knowledge amongst BOTH Wizard and Muggle that Children learn better in happier environments, and when their lessons are more fun. I do not understand how Miss Umbridge can say that there was too much merriment in the lesson. Children learn from their mistakes, so if there are a multitude of mishaps and things going wrong in Professor Flitwicks class, then surely the students learn a lot in his class.
Secondly, Whilst I do not think that Professor Trelawny is the best of the teaching in Hogwarts, She still teaches her class. The students who want to be in that class learn the subject and pay attention. I'm sure Miss Umbridge will have found that it was the students who had realised that they had no interest for the subject that paid no attention, or made the class 'uncontrolled', as the report claims.
I feel that Miss Umbridge was extremely biased with her report on Professor Hagrid, as it is well known that Hagrid is a half-breed, and that Miss Umbridge does not like half-breeds at all. She has clearly exaggurated the words of some certain students and from her experiences during her inspections. However, I also feel that Miss Umbridge just wants to get rid of the teachers that she doesn't like, and those who don't follow her rules, as opposed to the teachers that could actually do the school some good by being let go.
Again, I feel that Miss Umbridge does not like Professor Sprout very much, as it is well known that the old woman loves her subject and taught it with much more knowledge than Miss Umbridge claims. However, I do agree with Miss Umbridge ever so slightly about Professor Sprout's allowance of foul language in the classroom. Yes, I understand why she allows the students to use such language, though I also think that it shouldn't be allowed, as it influences and teaches horrible habits and manners to the children. Surely a teacher as smart as Professor Sprout could have thought of a more imaginative means of letting the children express themselves when they get attacked by Devils Snare?
Lastly, it is VERY clear that Miss Umbridge liked Professor Snapes teaching a lot. She liked how he 'controlled' the class. And how he used fear factors to scare the children into being so terrified that they daren't breathe in his class. Teachers are supposed to be people that students can go to for help if they need it, and I don't think that Professor Snape portrays this image of a teacher - No student would want to go to see him in their free time.
After thinking through this, and summing up what I think of the teachers and the reports, it is very clear that all of the teachers bring both positive and not-so-positive contributions to their teaching. However, they all bring something positive to the school. Ideally, the teacher that I would choose to fire is Miss Umbridge, because she is the only teacher who, in my eyes, brought NOTHING but trouble and misery to the school. She was biased, selfish and considered herself too much like Minister Fudge, who didn't so very much good for the Wizarding World himself. However, seeing as this is not an option, the member of staff I would choose to fire is Professor Snape, and that is because I feel that he terrorises and scares more of his students than the number of students that he sucseeds in teaching.
When Helena finished writing, She read through her writing and looked up to signal that she'd finished. This challenge really made Helena feel like she was back at school, and Helena didn't like that feeling at all.

Teresa studied the paper over and over again, knowing this after all was her departments part of the presentation. She thought very hard and wrote
While I believe that High Inquisitor Umbridge had know past education that would have made her a inadequate judge of the professors I agree on a few things. I also believe that teachers need to not show favoritism such as Professor Hagrid and Sprout, but they as well as Professor Flitwick, worked to make their classes not only instructional but fun too. It is hard for me to choose whether professor Trelawney or Snape should be fired because I feel that they are but inadequate professors. Trelawney lacked general knowledge of the subject she was teaching and had pore teaching and presentation skills. Professor Snap was a more structured professor but he was so stick that his students rarely ever had fun. I wish I could go showdown theses professors myself to have a better understanding if the teaching issues relate to lack of ability or personality traits. If I had to choose a professor I would have to pick Trelawney because here obstacles to better teaching are a bit larger.

Ingrid walked into the first challenge room and listened as Ms Mcardle explained their task. Getting a copy of the High inquistors notes the dark haried division head proceeded to take a seat an empty desk. Conjuring up the supplies she needed Ingrid got to work.

Charms:
While Professor Flitwick is cheerful and welcoming, the Hogwarts High Inquisitor, that is to say I, feel that this demeanor encourages the wrong sort of learning environment. While the students were focused on their studies, there were more mishaps than one would have expected, all of which resulted in far too much merriment.
Points for improvement: Professor Flitwick should focus on disciplining his classes when they step out of line, and conduct his lessons with a serious manner.
Action to be taken: Probation not deemed to be necessary.
I don’t think that Professor Filtwick should be fired. The high inquisitor may ask for more discipline and that might be justified but I think it is very important to have a warm and loving professor who is passionate about his subject and his students. If the professor loves his subject and reflects that in teaching, the students will want to learn too. It is in the student’s best interests to see and learn that making mistakes and causing mishaps as you call it high inquisitor is perfectly okay and besides if you aren’t allowed to do wrong then how are you supposed to get better and evolve as a person or further your skills in charms?
Quote:
Divination: Professor Trelawney lacks the basic skills of divination and teaching. Her predictions are a mixture of deduction and wild guesses. Her class control is minimal, she resorts to making ghoulish predictions in order to scare or bore her students into submission. She is also unable to make predictions on request.
Points for improvement: Professor Trelawney needs to revisit some tried and tested, ministry approved disciplinary procedures and apply them. She must also become more accurate in her predictions and teaching methods.
Action to be taken: Further inspection is required. Probation may be a necessary measure.
I think in Professor Trelawney’s case she could be fired considering her unorthodox methods of teaching. It is never good to try to gain students trust and respect by making predictions that scare them. Lack of order is also something that disrupts the student’s education and she seems inadequate to fully be in charge of a room filled with students. Then there is the matter of her seer ability. Shouldn’t a seer be able to make predictions when asked and not just now and again? I think it is in the student’s best interest that Professor Trelawney will be replaced by someone who can teach the art of Divination and have control of his/her classroom in a way that further rather than hinders the student’s education.
Quote:
Care of Magical Creatures:Professor Hagrid is difficult to understand, intimidating to the students and seems to take pleasure in the thought of other people being hurt. His curriculum is vastly inappropriate for the age group he is teaching and he refuses to admit this. There have been injuries in his classes, one of which has led to a hypogryff being sentenced to death by the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, although the beast escaped, something that the Hogwarts High Inquisitor, that is to say I, am convinced was arranged by Professor Hagrid.
Points for improvement: Professor Hagrid should follow the lesson plans left by Professor Grubbly-Plank while he reassesses his curriculum so that it is in line with Ministry expectations. He should also concentrate on enunciating clearly so that the students can understand him.
Action to be taken: Further inspection is required. Probation may be a necessary measure.
I love Professor Hagrid dearly but in the best interest of the students of Hogwarts I think he should be removed from his teaching position. Hagrid is as I see it of better use to the students as an advisor and friend rather than an educator. A professor should know what each year is capable of handling and not just show creatures that he deems fun and interesting. Third years shouldn’t meet real hippogriffs if there is any chance that bad words or evil actions can lead to severe injuries. Safety is a key and I know Hagrid means well but it is something that can’t be overlooked. So for Hagrid’s lack of pedagogic knowledge I think he should be removed from his position. I don’t doubt his vast knowledge of creatures I just worry about the safety of the students taking his class.

Herbology: While Professor Sprout has a sound knowledge of her subject and so she is able to convey this knowledge to a reasonable standard. However, she allows her pupils to use foul language in her classes, something that the Hogwarts High Inquisitor, that is to say I, find most abhorrent and unnecessary. The amount of group work that is undertaken by Professor Sprout’s classes is also of concern, as they seem at times to almost be teaching each other, rather than receiving instruction from her.
Points for improvement: Professor Sprout would benefit from revisiting and revising some basic teaching skills, including what is acceptable language for the classroom.
Action to be taken: Probation not deemed to be necessary.
I don’t think that Professor Sprout should be fired. She definitely needs to take actions against the bad language used by the students in her classes but otherwise I deem her to be a very competent professor who knows what she is doing. Group work I deem to be a great method for learning together and as an individual. In a group you as a individual benefit from the knowledge of others and can with their help broaden your own knowledge and skills in herbology.

Potions:
Professor Snape is a highly competent Professor who had excellent control over his classes. It is clear that he has consistently and throughly educated his students throughout his tenure at Hogwarts. The Hogwarts High Inquisitor, that is to say I, have doubts about some of the potions that are currently on the syllabus, for example Strengthening Solution. However, there are other considerations to take into account which outweigh this. Professor Snape seems to be highly skilled in many areas and seems to be an asset to the school.
Points for improvement: Professor Snape should consider revising which potions are on the syllabus as some of them are too advanced for young children.
Action to be taken: Probation not deemed to be necessary.
I agree with the High inquisitor that Professor Snape is highly competent and has good control of his classroom. How he gets control of his students can though be questioned since intimidation isn’t a method in my book that should be used to gain the respect and trust of his students. Overall though I think with Professor Snape’s vast knowledge in many areas including potions he is an asset to Hogwarts. This isn’t a popularity contest but Professor Snape isn’t exactly known for his people skills, professors are though not hired on those grounds so I’m not going to go into that. Professor Snape should therefore in my opinion not be fired.
Ingrid rolled up her parchments and handed them and then sat and awaited her verdict. Was her opinions good or not?
Rubeus Hagrid turned to each person and dabbed at his eyes with his neck tie. "Wha' ya wan fire me fur? I loved those kids." he sobbed as huge teardrops dropped onto his suit jacket.
Pierre had no idea what he was supposed to do now. He was going to ask, when the image of Rubeus Hagrid appeared in front of him. He was so stunned that he almost lost his train of the thought and what he had to do: fire Hagrid. "Well, you are constantally endangering the students by bringing in animals that are far too vicious for them to handle. Also, you make a point to try and be good friends with some of your students. Being a teacher comes before friendship." He thought his explanation was good enough. He hoped he could move on.

Gavin looked over the paper they were all given, listening to Miss McArdle as she spoke explaining the class. So it appears we are to evaluate those past professors he thought to himself as he picked up an available quill. Shouldn't be too hard he added and went to work reading and writting his comments and a final answer.
Quote:
First of all a professor shouldn't be judged by personality. Just because Professor Flitwick is cheerful doesn't mean he is lax of attention to detail. I believe he is meerly doing his best to teach his classes without frightening his students. Mistakes will happen...its a part of learning.
Divination is in no way and an exact science and I do believe it is impossible to 'force' a prediction just for the sake of example. Therefore just because she can not do as asked on the spot does not mean she is totally incapable.
While Professor Hagrid is a bit lax in his control of his class, he can not be fully held responsible for the actions of magical creatures with which he deals with. There will always be accidents. With proper improvement he can be a valuble source of knowledge for students.
Professor Sprout is a gifted professor in her field and like hagrid can not be fully held responsible for the actions of those in her class. Granted discipling a child for language might be a good idea but not proof that she is a bad professor.
Finally while Professor Snape appears to be the most knowledgeable in his chosen field, he is perhaps too knowledgeable. One must remember that not everyone can be a potions expert so the level of diffuculty of the classwork should be applyable to the average student not the gifted. Therefore I chose to fire him for perhaps he is better suited for being simply a great potions master.
Writting down his final decision of firing Professor Snape on the last page, Gavin laid down his quill and waited for the next step.

Jade listened carefully to what the Department head had to say and eyed the pamphlets before her. The task ahead didn't sound all that difficult, but she did need to put herself into another's shoes to truly understand the magnitude of such a decision. She wasn't a parent and she didn't have any siblings, making the decision a bit more difficult for her to wrap her mind around.
Thinking over just what she had heard, she picked up the pamphlets and began to read through them, taking notes accordingly as she thought over how she as a former student felt and how she as a concerned adult felt. She wasn't about to go into such a decision with little to no thought.
Pulling out a pen, she moved to the back page and began to write her findings.
After reading the enclosed information, it is clear that the once High Inquisitor of Hogwarts, herself is rather a judgmental examiner. She appears to lack the common knowledge that is needed to accurately assess the teaching abilities of her peers at the time, but that neither here or there. With her limited knowledge of the findings she documented are biased at best, but given this is the only information that I am giving, I must do what I can with what is given.
Charms: It does appears that Professor Flitwick's demeanor might not be suited for the task asked by High Inquisitor Umbridge, but in any lesson there is a potential for mishappen and that doesn't necessary become the fault of the teaching style of the professors. The high level of merriment can also act as a buffer for those new students that are unfamiliar with being in a new situation, such as a new school. The welcome-ness of Professor Flitwich should be seen as a perk and thus shouldn't be used to chastise him. Perhaps a review of Ministry standards is necessary but lost of position is not warranted in the least.
Divination: Very much like the High Inquisitor, I myself have very little knowledge of the art of Divination, but I do believe that it is not a science and that it leads way to much interpretation and wild guesses. Professor Trelawney's lack of ability to make predictions on debate should in no way dictated her ability to teach. It's very possible that perhaps her teaching style is better suited for a smaller group of students or maybe more one on one teaching. She lack of focus and direction in leading her lesson in large groups is of some concern and perhaps a review of proper lesson structure is needed.
Care of Magical Creatures: Given that Professor has a history with a number of his students and they seen to be able to understand him, the lack of ability to understand the professor is not a valid point. It is true that his curriculum is rather dangerous for the students that he is teaching and that is a reason for concern. There does seem to be a slight misunderstanding between what Professor Hagrid's purpose is. It appears that even though he, himself, is comfortable around said more dangerous creatures, he is putting his students in danger and as a professor he not only is there to educate but also to protect as needed. There is a serious need to review certain protocol.
Herbology: Given Professor Sprout's vast and sound knowledge of her subject, there doesn't seem to be a need for her to go through any large of amount of change in her curriculum or her teaching style. The use of groups in her lesson plan is actually a good teaching tool, as it helps those understand the subject more clearly. A sign that one knows a subject and is comfortable with it, is to allow them to teach others. The use of groups is something that should be encouraged in controlled environments. Herbology as a whole is a subject that involves hands on experiences and that is what Professor Sprout seems to incorporate into the lesson. The alleged use of foul language is a concern and if it becomes an issue, should be taken care of. But as it stands Professor Sprout seems to have a rather good grips of her lesson and students.
Potions: Given the long tenure that Professor Snape has had at Hogwarts, his teaching style might be frowned upon. His blatant favoritism for his house is of concern, but could also be a driving force for those in the other houses to best his and thus appeal themselves more. His somewhat strict manner sof teaching would concern some and might be deemed unfit for the those he is teaching, but he's skill and knowledge in his subject is a quality that is needed. The curriculum is a bit tough for the age group but a challenge is what is sometimes needed to help motavate some. Professor Snape also doesn't seem to baby any student and constant acts to keep standards high. Some might see this as sheer spite for other houses, but in the spirt of competitiveness this shouldn't be an issue.
Given the following, the only recomemmenation I can give would be that Professor Hagrid be fired. He doesn't seem to entirely grasp the the fine balance of teaching while keeping his students safe. A truly perfect learning enviorment is one whre students can learn and not be in the direct path of danger. If he was to perhaps have a better sense of control over what he was teach, the danger involved wouldn't be a factor. Yet, as of this time, his grasp is not to standards and he's willingness to expose the young to such dangers without the proper protycal is grounds for his dismissal.
On the other hand, of all the remaining candidates, Professor Snape seems to be able to both provide a standard level of teaching to his students. His teaching style and technique is questionable at times, but he's knowledge is rather valuable and he seems to be an asset to the staff. He is not a perfect professor, fair from it but given all the information he is the most constant professor and does his job well.
Setting her pen down, Jade glanced back over her findings and felt rather proud of herself. This was something she wasn't at all used to but still managed to challenge her so. Giving her answer a final look over, she replaced her pen and glanced up toward the front.
Ronan Cavanaugh browsed through the list of teachers that was placed in front of him blinking slowly as he read through the descriptions of each person’s review by the High Inquisitor, Dolores Umbridge. Picking up the pen by his hand, the young man began to write:
'I am sure I am not the first one to say this, but I find that the way that Miss Umbridge is rating the teachers is one step short of complete evil. Be that as it may, after reading through her notes, I would have to conclude that Professor Trewlawney is the professor that should be fired from her post. It is obvious that she does not possess the Seer’s eye, and therefore, her students are learning nothing of value during her lessons.'
Ronan reread his work, fiddling with his quill as he did so, before looking to the list of professors once more to answer the second question.
'In regards to which teacher is best suited for their job, I would have to say that I pick Professor Flitwick. Although Miss Umbridge believes that the class is too cheery which lead to a few mishaps during the class, the learning environment is for development of a student’s personal experience and being able to learn from their mistakes is a something I deem acceptable and beneficial.'
The young man sat back and waited for someone to check his answers, smirking at the fact that it felt like he was back at Hogwarts taking final exams.
The illusion of Sybill Trelawney appeared in front of the man and instantly began to sob and wail. "Why, sir, would you fire me and have me removed from my HOME. Hogwarts is the only home I have, please sir... tell me why," she said in sobs.

After looking at the report he quickly decided that Professor Flitwick should stay, he had a feeling that the students where learning loads from him and so there was no need for him to go.
Whilest some of his teaching methods needed improving he thought about the fact that Hagrid had only being teaching a few years. But there was also a few other things going against him, he decided he'd come back to him.
After glancing at the notes made on her he had a fairly easy decision made, I would keep her on she has got them all working together which isn't easy, if she just learned to discipline them she would have everything go for her.
After looking at her note, his smile slipped away, Professor Trelawney seemed to be a bad teacher and had had loads of problems in her class and the facts she scares her pupils wasn't a good thing.
Teaching dangerous potions to little children now that's not right, but then he does have excellent control over his classroom, I would say a list of suitable potions should be written for each year group and Snape told to teach them that.
After looking thought the notes he had made he decided to focus on Professor Trelawney and Professor Hagrid. In the end he decided to chose Professor Trelawney due to the fact that she had been there for over 10 years and Hagrid hadn't been there for long, he would suggest someone watch Hagrids lesson until they were satisfied he was ready to go back to teaching on his own.
The illusion of Trelawney appeared in front of the man and stood fidgeting with her layers of beads and looking at him sadly through her huge glasses. "Why would you want to fire me and take me from my home? I was a true seer, sir. My predictions were almost always correct..." she said in a sad voice.

The image of Snape's greasy self appeared in front of the woman and crossed his arms lazily and looked down his beaklike nose and simply raised an eyebrow as if to say 'I'm waiting'.

It is in the student’s best interests to see and learn that making mistakes and causing mishaps as you call it high inquisitor is perfectly okay and besides if you aren’t allowed to do wrong then how are you supposed to get better and evolve as a person or further your skills in charms?
The image of Trelawney appeared in front of the woman and sobbed, waiting for an answer as to why she had chosen her to be fired.

"Well, you are constantally endangering the students by bringing in animals that are far too vicious for them to handle. Also, you make a point to try and be good friends with some of your students. Being a teacher comes before friendship." He thought his explanation was good enough. He hoped he could move on.
Hagrid nodded his head and the image shimmered and then disappeared.

The image of Rubeus Hagrid came into being in front of the woman and shuffled his feet nervously. "Wha' you wan fire me fur. I loved those kids and animals," he said in a sad voice as tears dropped into his long beard.

The image of Trelawney smiled sadly and nodded her head, she understood and the woman had made great points. The illusion shimmered and disappeared.
Chloe stood by with a satisfied smile on her face and folded her arms across her chest. She had passed this challenge on her first try. This was a piece of cake. She stood there silently, looking around at the progress of others, waiting to be told where to go next.

Slowly dragging his feet along as everybody started heading towards the Ground Level Michel couldn't quite hide his annoyance at the whole thing - nor did he try to. Now what? He had just arrived her yesterday and now they were supposed to be all nice and social and find the Minister? Why did he have to do that? Weren't there other people to do that? If they needed somebody to make a plan of what to do or something then he was their man but THIS?
He didn't even know this person so why was he the one to go look for her...or something. His grey-green-ish eyes widened a little, however, as he entered the room with a few other people and immediately took a seat at the way back of the room, away from everybody else. Hopefully they weren't supposed to work as a team. Or at least hopefully nobody expected HIM to partner up with somebody.
Raising his eyebrows ever so lightly Michel listened to the dark-haired woman who explained stuff about proper and inproper teaching methods. Why did he feel like being back at school? Twirling his quill between his fingers he nodded more to himself than anybody else as he read through the pamphlet they had been handed. Oh, good, no team-work then. Phew. His eyes scanning the page for a moment he made a few notes here and there before he finally turned the parchment to start to write.
Text Cut: Michel's Notes
Professor Flitwick
--> too cheerful
--> not able to control his students
--> students don't show that much respect for him
--> liked by the students
--> welcoming
Professor Trelawney
--> incompetent teacher
--> is in fact NOT - as claimed - a real Seer
--> not able to control her students
Professor Hagrid
--> inappropriate curriculum
--> dangerous for the students
--> criminal?
Professor Sprout
--> lacks basic teaching skills
--> expert in her subject
--> team work/group projects
Professor Snape
--> expert in his subject
--> perfect control over his students
--> a few inappropriate potions?
Somehow it became obvious that Michel was not too excited to be there by the way he had only scribbled down the most essential facts. Now, on to a final decision who to fire and who to keep. This was hard...
Text Cut: Michel's Decision
Personally, I would fire Professor Hagrid as it seems that he is least appropriate to be a member of the teaching staff. His curriculum includes dangerous creatures to which the students should under no circumstances be exposed to. Absolutely not. He seems to be a danger to himself and his students.
Furthermore, I would consider firing Professor Trelawney as she seems to be unable to do anything properly. Harsh but true. According to Mrs. Umbridge's notes the professor has absolutely no ability to neither teach nor predict something. She is simply not suited for the post of a Divination Professor.
All in all, I would fire Professor Hagrid, however, as he apparently seems to be a real threat to everybody, especially his students.
Now, there, hopefully that would suffice. This was already getting annoying and it had only just started...

I believe it would be best if you cease your employment at Hogwarts since it is apparent that perhaps your skills would be better used elsewhere," he said gathering his own thoughts to find the best way to handle things.
"Your demeanor already suggests that you dislike your position so it might be mutually beneficial for all those involved," he added listening to his own words and almost shaking his head. I really need to stop spending so much time around Ryan, he mused to himself.

Robert walked into the room, and listened to instructions. He wasnt an educator, he was here to clean the ministry. Not fire teachers, based on reports.
With a sigh, he took out a quill and started writing.

After reading the reports of Professor Umbridge, I have come to the conclusion that the least sufficeint professor to teach a young minds is Professor Hagrid. Though his love for the subject seems great, his methods are brutal. The students are there to learn, not to be mauled by various animals. He needs to stay to a safer enviorment, with less dangerous creatures. Student are not learning if the teacher is intimmidating. He must also be aware that each age level have diffrent requirments. Teaching students of a lower age group, with very dangerous creatures is not a good idea. Since students of a lower age group wont listen to instructions and wont be as cautious as the older students.
Professor Flitwick, Is welcoming, and not so intimidating, unlike Professor Hagrid. Allowing the students to just go off on their own, without controll over the class is a danger to everyone. Professor flitwick, though he is not one who needs to be fired immidiatly, he should be watched. He may have a tendency to be too kind to the students. He must have some authority in the classroom, in order to have a safe, and controlled enviorment for the students to learn in.
I beleive the professor most capable for their position is Professor Snape. Though the potions that he teaches may be above the age level, he, unlike Professor hagrid has more controll over his class. Keeping the students in a safe enviorment, while still educating them. He has the skills to teach difficult potions without major acciedents, though with potion making always comes risk of getting something wrong. He has enough controll to keep everything in check, in order to keep these mishappenings to a minimum.
Well there now that wasnt too bad. He couldnt bare firing someone to their face though, but it seems like it must be done. As he looked around at the many illusions

"My dear, I don't mean to say that you are not a wonderful Seer and person at heart, and I am sure that your intentions are well meant but I have reviewed Umbridge's reports and made my desicion."
Then in spite of herself, she said to the image, "It's not to say that you are a bad teacher, I just believe that the other candidates had slightly higher qualifications." Melina couldnt help but feel dismayed. Her heart went out to the woman, really it did. She must've been through this all day and was desperatly trying to be spared from it once more.
Antigone swung her feet as she looked around the room from atop her desk. YAY!! Everyone was doing so well. It made her almost tear up with pride. *Sigh* Yeah but that wasn't in her character. Nope. She just smiled as she watched the illusions pop up and disappear. Seems some of her pupils were a bit... rude to the illusions and that made her want to throw rocks at the, but meh... Whatever.

After seeing others heading out after their own illusions had disappeared, Pippa decided to follow, and almost skipped out afterwards, heading to the next level.

Jade blinked as the image of Hagrid appeared before her. It wasn't as if she wanted to do this, but it was for the greater good. "It is nothing personal Professor, but at this time it doesn't seen fit for you to continue on in the position of professor. There is fine balance between what is dangerous enough for class and what is deemed too dangerous. You are unable to distinguish between the two and are constantly putting the students in danger as well as the animals. Your role as a professor is to educate the students and you have show that you are putting them in far more danger than teaching them." She felt terrible but it really was for the greater good of the student and the school.

Helena watched as the image of snape appeared in front of her and she grimaced slightly. Surely he wasn't that terrible looking in real life, was he? She raised her eyebrow in response to his own raised eye brow. She stood up and leveled up with him, her eyebrow still raised, "It's quite apparent that you think yourself above this, too important to be fired. Am I right? Of course I am. You, Professor Snape, think that you're wonderful, the best Potions Master of Hogwarts. Yes, you may be exeptionally talented when it comes to the art of potions, however, you don't use your skills to teach every single individual student. You like favouritism. You like it a lot, it's quite clear that you do from the way that you treat your students. You favour the Slytherins with the most influential parents and let them get away with a lot that no other teach would, yet treat the students from other houses completely differently. You have a grudge with the parent, or think that the child is clumsy, and you just treat them like idiots, or like they aren't capable." Helena glared at the vision, "I know for a fact that you use the fact that practically every. single. student. is afraid of you to your benefit, to keep your class in control and to ensure that work will get done. THAT is not how teachers should behave. Teachers should be availiable for students to go to for help, whether that be during lesson or not. I'd be suprised if there were many students that could do that. You terrify students, which I do not think is fair, as it will affect them in not only YOUR class, but other classes, also." Helena paused to think about what to say to the illusion next, "Also, Some of the work you set is much, much more advanced than the level that your class is working at. You're idea of 'basic' is not that of mine, a parents. I know full well that the majority of children would not cope working under your conditions at the level you expect them to. Some do manage to complete the work you set, but in an UNBIASED way, they won't have completed it very well, and that, Mr Snape, is why I am firing you. And also, lower your eyebrow. It's very rude."
Helena looked at the illusion of Snape, hoping that everything she'd said was enough.
