Dorian couldn't help but grin again as the woman reassured him by talking about the man who had left while he'd been attempting his prophecy-choosing. "It certainly seems to be one, and I must not be as dense as I feel like sometimes," he said, almost joking. But if someone who actually worked in this department had issues, it definitely gave him some perspective. And when his next guess was met with a key, he sent the woman yet another smile as he stood up again, pocketing his little gift from the last challenge again as he took the key from her. It was almost becoming a souvenir for him. "Well, I guess thank you. And perhaps we'll see each other again under less auspicious circumstances." Platonically, of course. He couldn't miss the fact the woman was married, but he liked the company of nice people.

OH OH OHHHHHH. Sam knew which prophecy it was! The Department Head's answer had totally just given it away, or at least he hoped he was right. Mentally crossing his fingers, he pointed to one of the prophecies laying before him, and then he looked back at the woman. "This is the right one... right?" He sure hoped it was!

Smiling at the man as he joked, Becca glanced towards the door, thinking of Brian. "You're definitely not dense." she looked back to him, smiling kindly still. When he took the key, she nodded "I hope to meet you again soon." She'd most like have Brian with her next time. Yay!

When this man pointed to another prophecy, Becca grinned and nodded "Yeah, you got it." She'd given him the answer. Now she gave him the key. "Well done, and good luck!" she smiled. She was going to be alone again when these men moved to the next challenge. I'm missing Brian!

He saw his dept. Head as she gave them instructions. He took a look at the five pieces of parchment and the planets..this was confusing...but how could it be. He worked for that specific department.... "Um....Miss...."he said to Becca "How are the planet's supposed to help....I mean I already have my guess but I have no idea what the planets are for...if you could explain....because I think 1 and 3 are different...."

As he listened to the department head explaining what they were supposed to do for this challenge, Michel's attention was caught a little by the glowing light of the prophecies. Oh good, this did not involve talking to people. It was sheer logics. Good, very good. Excellent. Hopefully this would be the last challenge and they could finally all stop this nonesense. Of course he sort of wanted the Minister and her Undesecretary safe but he simply did not understand why HE had to be the one to make sure of that.

Without taking his eyes off the almost hypnotizing glow of the prophecies Michel slowly but determindedly approached them. He read them carefully - they had piqued his interest - and occasionally made a few notes on his notepad. Now he could for sure eliminate a few of them but as he did not know basically anything about the Minister he could not be entirely sure. "Excuse me?" He turned to look at the woman who seemed to be in charge of this challenge (Becca). "First of all, how many challenges are there, if I may ask?" Yes, he just NEEDED to know how many he still had to endure.

"And concerning the prophecy I would say it is this* one." He pointed at one of the prophecies a little warily. For once he was not entirely sure if he was right. Besides, he had not looked at the planets yet. Though, why should he if he could figure it out like this? Rubbing the back of his neck a little anxiously Michel continued to stare at the prophecies in front of him. There had to be a clear clue. There just had to.

Smiling at one of her employees, Becca moved over to him and then sat down. This was going to be a loooong guessing game. "Well, when you've got two planets and their numbers, that means you have narrowed down the prophecies to two. Then you must use common sense to understand properly" Becca smiled. "Easier?"

First things first. "There are eight challenges" she nodded with a smile. HA! He was only on the third.

Shaking her head, Becca smiled kindly at the man "Try looking at the planets. They'll help." she shifted the papers to put the planets in front of him "But it's a very good guess."

Annabeth slipped into the Department of Mysteries. She'd never been in here before. It was kinda cool. She listened to the speaker, and then move to study the planet diagram. Let's see.. this one and that one were wrong. Nodding, she moved over to the prophecies, glancing at each in turn.

Maybe.. this corresponded to her thoughts on the planets.

She snorted. Everyone knew who's prophecy this was.

She didn't think so.

Eh.. too dark. No way.

Maybe.. this also worked with her deductions, mostly.


In a moment of clarity, she knew which one it was. Annabeth had solved the challenge! That was easy.

EIGHT?! Michel frowned at the woman at her reply, and said a little incredulously, "And this is...the third one, right?" It was more something of a rhetorical question because he did know that this was only the third. But he just wanted to make sure.

Crap! "The planets..." He repeated - his French accent coming through a little - as he jerked his head back to look at the parchments the woman had just moved towards him. The planets..."Is the Minister married, Mrs...?" He trailed off to look at her, expecting for her to introduce herself. He had to get to know some people at least, as much as he disliked it, he just had to.

After another few moments of just staring at the parchment Michel nodded slowly to himself. "Well, there are two of the planets which do not look as they should...however, I would say that this is the Minister's prophecy." He once again gestured towards one of the glowing prophecies, glancing at the woman expectantly.

When this woman came into the room, Becca smiled kindly at her "Hi, when you've got this worked out, lemme know." she smiled.

Nodding at his question, Becca smiled and then looked to the planets. "Not yet, and it's Mrs. Lee" she smiled "You've already been through my husband's challenge" Briiiiiiiiiiiiian! Yaaaaaaay! When he pointed at one of the prophecies again, Becca shook her head "Nope, sorry. Try again. And interpret the prophecies" she smiled kindly.

Pippa had found herself smiling after leaving the challenge previous to the one she was about to enter, just because now she was SMART. Kinda anyway, in a way that she had passed all the challenges that had came before now. So yeah, she was sure in knowing she was smart.

Finally after entering the room, she gave a smile over at the woman who was Heading this challenge and took a quick seat before looking down at the bits of parchment before her. Ekk. She was no good with prophecies. Nor was she any good with planets. Er.

In the confusion her eyebrows wrinkled, and her hand reached back and played with a curl in her hair. True. She was blonde. But she was definitely going to do this without looking like a thicko, right?

She sat and read the prophecies over and first off took two of them out of the picture, simply because she was certain the Minister Taylor was not a male. Well … she hadn’t been the last time Pippa had checked. Or.. you know. Whatever. But yeah, she cancelled those two out, one of them more being because she knew one of them was the famous prophecy said to involve Harry Potter.

Now, she decided to look to the planets for help now. Because she was no good at this kind of stuff. Ekkk. There. Two looked positively different. Kind of taken a grey tint to what they usually looked like right?

So … that left her two prophecies. Erk. Now she felt stuck.

"Excuse me, Miss? Can I ask you a question please?" The blonde spoke up, almost raising her hand as-if back in school. But she didn't. And instead just continued instead of waiting for an answer, obviously not intending to be rude. "Was Minister Taylor in a relationship?"

Not yet? Michel nodded slowly in comprehension, his green-grey eyes locked on the planets. That explained some things. That certainly explained some things. "Mrs. Lee." He repeated, his eyes flickering back to the woman's face. "My name is Michel DePaon." Raising his eyebrows slightly at her mention of her husband Michel shrugged a little. He was not particularly interested in Mrs. Lee's private life. "How nice." Hopefully he wasn't the one who thought there were potions which made somebody's head explode...

A small number of French swearwords escaped his lips as Mrs. Lee once again denied him to go on. "Pardon...then this one is the Minister's prophecy." A little hint of annoyance accompanied his tones as he pointed at the prophecy. If this was not correct then he would leave...

Smiling, Becca turned to the blonde woman and nodded "Of course.." she listened to her question "Apparently so." Another one just given away!

When she pointed at another prophecy, Becca smiled and crouched down next to the woman "Use the planets. It'll help." That would get her on the right track. Hopefully.

"Nice to meet you Mr. DePaon" she smiled kindly at him and ignored his shrug. She was happy to talk about Brian, no matter if Michel wanted to hear it or not. When he swore in French, she laughed and then nodded when he pointed to another prophecy "Correctt!" she handed him a key "Well done! And good luck Mr. DePaon." she wished him.

Patiently listening as Becca Lee, his ex boss, spoke Ryan took a deep breath and eyed the prophecies then the planets boserving them carefully. For a moment he looked at Becca and back at the prophecies. It was easy to eliminate two of them so there was five left. He glanced at the planets and smirked pointing at one of the prophecies trying his chance. ''This one is about the minister, is not it?''

IC: Annabeth sighed, and went to go look at the planets again.She blinked. Seriously? Why had she not seen it before? Duh.

Smiling as she saw Ryan again, Becca nodded and handed him a key. "Well done!! How's the new job going?" she asked, wanting to know how things had gone for Ryan since he left the department for a promotion.

Watching her, Becca smiled and shook her head amusedly. It took some people a little while to catch on sometimes.

"Right... Okay, well thank you Miss." Pippa gave her a grin and looked down at the two prophecies she had singled it down to, before re-reading them and then placing a finger on one. "Sorry to bother you again, well, for this minute anyway, is this the prophecy relating to Minister Taylor...?"

There it was. Whhyyyy had it taken her so long to find it? She tapped Becky on the shoulder, and pointed to it.

Challenge Status: BEATEN TO A PULP.

Smiling kindly, Becca nodded "No problem." she was about to turn away, the woman called her attention again "Mmm?" she looked down at the prophecy and nodded "Yeah! Well done!" Becca handed her a key, smiling kindly.

Smiling, Becca nodded and handed her a key "There you go! Got it in the end!" she grinned. If at first you don't succeed, try and try again!! Good motto to go by.

Pippa grinned at the woman and took the key from her with an even bigger grin. "Thank you! By the way, really good challenge. OH, and you have a really nice coloured hair. See you around!" And with that the blonde actually SKIPPED out of the room, ready to advance a challenge.

''Thank you'' Ryan replied as he took the key from Becca smiling back at her. That Lee couple definitely, as he could deduct from their attitudes, was an admirable one. ''Everything is fine'' he went on playing with the key in his hands ''But of course sometimes i do miss how i used to enjoy being an Unspeakable. I hope things are all going well down there.'' then with another smile and a kind wave of goodbye, he left the room.

Pierre nodded and pointed at a piece of parchment "my guess is that this is the prophecy"

Chris proceeded to the venue of the next challenge after passing the challenge two. He found the new challenge rather intricate and really complicated. It came across to him as a very difficult challenge due to some obvious reasons that Mysteries wasn't his thing and was something he didn't want to study. Mysteries just didn't seem to get his muses working but who knows--with this challenge--he might probably build a strong bond between solving mysteries/deciphering prophesies and he himself.

He then listened to Becca's instructions and studied the planets and the parchments carefully. Now that he did know what to do, the challenge became a wee bit easy to him. He browsed the planets again and the parchments too but that was no help. All the parchment seemed not to be making sense at all even though there were some prophesies which was all about a woman but still...

Okay. He had guesses now. He'd met the minister once but he didn't even get any hint of her as lonely or something. There were three out of five planets which he had chosen and there, he continued thinking. Later on, he narrowed it to two and from the two, he finally had come up with his final guess. "Is this could possibly be right?" There. Done. He just hoped his findings were correct.

Watching this woman grinning, Becca couldn't help but smile. When her hair colour was mentioned, her hand moved to her hair and started playing with it gently "Thanks! See you around." she smiled at the woman. That was such a kind compliment.

Nodding kindly at Ryan, Becca's gaze dropped to the key in his hands and then moved back up to his face "Great!" she smiled "Awe.. we miss you too." He could have been offered a promotion in the department too, but hey. Waving goodbye, Becca smiled and then turned to the other people in the room.

When Pierre pointed at the prophecy, Becca shook her head "Nope. Use the planets, Pierre." she hinted, smiling as she put the planets paper in front of him.

Oh! It was Chris. Looking at the prophecy he'd chosen, she nodded and handed over a key "Very well done, Chris!" she grinned. "How was Brian's challenge for you?" Always asking about her hubby.

"Ah. Thanks Becca. Didn't know that your specialty is about prophecies. You know I thought that Law was your field." He grinned at her, taking the key happily. He smirked as Becca asked him about Brian. Chris loved to see that the two were always caring for each other. "Uh, he's pretty fine, doing his job so well, keeping his 'cool', and umm, pressuring people's mind." He chuckled at the last thing he said to Becca. Honestly, he was a wee bit pressured when he was working with Brian. Oh, Chris just thought that he didn't answer Becca's question as it should be answered. She was asking about the challenge not Brian but well, he knew that she wanted to hear was about Brian so.. there.
