Erik walked into the next challenge and looked around. It was all so...overwhelming. Planets? Prophecies? Oh his head. Pick the prophecy that's related to Reagan okay well that was self explanatory why was there planets involved though. Shaking his head he walked up tot he person in charge, "I don't get it." He looked at the two pictures of the planets and frowned. "It's obvious which one's the most different, Mars, then maybe Earth then Jupiter but that's only because they aren't as clear. But...What are you supposed to do with that?" This was why he caught criminals they were clear cut mostly or had a motive or...something that made sense.

Looking up at the man who walked up to her, Becca smiled "Look closely at the planets. One has a yellowish tinge to it, so obviously Mars. Then look at the colours of Earth and Jupiter. I'm pretty sure that the light is tricking your eyes." she smiled at the man who was next to her on the floor and then stood up.

Brushing the dirt off her trousers, she looked at the prophecies. "So number four, 'This is the one who lives a condemned life. The love of the condemned one will be an inspiration to all who know. But paw-prints in the sand must fade one day and that day will be a dark day indeed.' Does that sound like something to do with Reagan?" she asked, subtly hinting at him to go in the right direction.

Erik looked at the woman on the ground with a face that could be construed nothing other than utter confusion. "The light..." Ugh did this woman just like to talk in circles?" Shaking his head he waved the comment off.

Hearing her remark about the number he chose he sighed, "Well I don't really know the woman but...I suppose not. Not unless she's grown four legs and responds to a whistle." He chuckled to himself and looked at the list again. "Well it's obviously not number 2. Everyone knows that was Harry Potter's prophecy. So...that leave 1, 3 and 5.... One is about a man so I take it that's not it. Which leaves 3 and 5, Mars and Jupiter, the other 2 planets that look off." Well his deductive skills were still working. That was a plus.

Opening his eyes he watched the lady who had been speaking before walk up to him, and he felt a pang of guilt as he looked at her. He smiled sadly and shook his head, "It's a good thing I came then isn't it?" he replied looking at her. Allowing his body to relax fully he nodded, moving to stand and ignoring the small twang of pain in his back as he held his hand out for her to take. "Darius Dalca. Nice to meet you" he replied looking to the desk and inwardly smacking himself. That would have been easier he thought."Everyone has a heads up on me, I have no idea what the Minister is like so this is more difficult for me. Though I do have an idea from what I can tell, it's just my mind is elsewhere right now." he apologized, not knowing why he was explaining it to her. Looking at the desk once more he nodded towards it, "I already know that the second one isn't the Ministers, but the other four I'm not sure of." he said his mind going back to the task at hand. The quicker he got this done the quicker he could leave.

Looking at his confusing with a smile, Becca nodded "Yeah, I don't think she's a dog." she grinned. Nodding encouragingly as he ruled out number two, she then looked at the planets. Watching him add two and two and get five, she shook her head. "Look at the planets carefully. The colours. Look at the whiteness of this planet" Becca pointed "And then this one." she pointed again, showing the differences between them.

Nodding kindly, she shook his hand and followed him to the desk, smiling at the other man who she'd been helping. "Well, she's not been in power that long. Not many people know her, they've not got that much of a heads up." she encouraged him "Oh, it's fine." she nodded at his explanation. "Something on your mind that you wanna talk about?" Becca was always willing to listen, didn't matter who it was. "Mhmm.." she nodded at his ruling out of number two "Use the planets. Look at the differences." It was so much easier when you were playing a game of spot the difference.

"Probably a good thing too," he said cheekily with a smile and then followed her finger to the planets pointing them out. If she was just going to go so far as to do that why didn't she just tell them in the first place. "Whiteness..." He nodded and the laughed, "Well I suppose that's a bit simple then. So it's that one," he said pointing to the prophecy and smiled. "Interesting."

"That may be true, but they haven't just arrived from Romania three weeks ago." he explained in a sheepish way, clearly out of his element. Sitting down at the desk he frowned at her next question. Chuckling dryly he replied, "Too much I'm afraid. I'm concerned over my wife and now this puzzle." he shook his head, not knowing why he had just said that. this was probably the easiest challenge and yet he was clueless. One reason why he had never even bothered to apply to the Department of Mysteries. Too mysterious for his tastes. Pulling his attention to the task at hands he took her advice looking at the planets again.

Wait a minute he thought looking at them closer, his eyes darkening as something came to him. "I think I'm beginning to understand this challenge now." he murmured softly, not knowing if she could hear or not. "Number four speak of paw-prints and I'm assuming she's not a dog, so that rules that one out. Number one is a bit tougher but it still doesn't sound like the Minister, leaving only these two." he trailed off, nodding to the only other ones left, looking at the planets again, this time focusing on the ones in question. "Wait, I think I have it." he stated, a light bulb going off in his head. Looking at Mrs. Lee he asked, "Is it this one?" in an odd voice.

Smiling amusedly at his comment, she nodded and then smiled "Yep, here's the key." she handed it over, smiling. "Good luck!" Becca waved goodbye to him and then turned to Mr. Dalca.

She smiled sympathetically at him. He was worried over his wife and the puzzle was getting to him. "What's worrying you about your wife?" she asked softly, watching him work out the challenge slowly. Nodding at each prophecy he ruled out, Becca smiled and then beamed when he said he had it. Looking at the prophecy he'd chosen, she nodded "Yes! Well done!" she grinned, handing him a key and nodding at him with a smile "You did very well." Praise was good, and she was sure he'd appreciate it, especially with the way he seemed to be feeling right now. "Good luck!"

A hint of pride enveloped his voice as he looked at her, "She's 6 months pregnant but not taking it easy. Still thinks she can take care of everything and not rest." he replied shaking his head. "But I guess we can always discuss this at a later time." he added as he finished working, waiting for her to tell him he was right or wrong. Blinking as she handed hi ma key and told him he was right he smiled a truly grateful smile and stood up, "Why thank you, this wasn't so bad." he stated a grin now on his face as he moved the key from hand to hand.

Turning he began walking towards the next door before turning back and waving cheerfully. "See you soon." he stated before opening the door and stepping out.

Smiling widely at the pride in his voice, she nodded "She'll be fine, just help her anyway you can." Becca nodded, smiling. She'd been stubborn about coming to work when she was pregnant. "Yeah, hope to speak to you soon." she was happy to meet new people! "I'm glad." she smiled at him "Bye! Good luck!" she called after him, smiling as he left the room. Sitting on the desk again, she waited for someone else to come into the room and start the task.

Lucia hesitated as she entered the next room, this one didn't look quite as easy as the previous challenges had. She headed straight towards the prophecies and looked at them all in detail. After about 5 minutes of thinking, Lucia came to the conclusion that the first and second prophecies were possibly incorrect. Which left her with three remaining.

Now that part was done, so she took a look at the planets to find any differences, and it was quite obvious which ones were different. The third and fourth one, which helped her a lot as it illiminated another of the prophecies, leaving her with two choices.

She rubbed her forehead as she continued to think, these challenges were starting to give her a headache. Oh well, she would just have to guess on this one, praying it would be the right guess. "Uhmm, is it.."

Watching this new woman, Becca smiled and then shifted on the desk, smiling as she dived straight into this challenge. Moving over to her, Becca smiled and then shook her head, looking at the prophecy "Nope. Read the prophecy and see if it will relate to the Minister." she hinted

Lucia paused to think as she got her first guess wrong, then re-read the prophecies as instructed and also glanced at the planets again, mainly at the other planet that seemed the most different. She nodded to herself, "Hmm. Well, I think that this one could probably relate to the Minister the most." She said, pointing at her next choice of a prophecy. "And it was definitely one of the most different of the planets." She looked up at Mrs Lee anxiously.

Nodding approvingly, Becca handed the woman a key "Well done!" she praised her before moving over to the door and leaning against the wall "Easy?" she asked, smiling at her anxiousness. This seemed like a hard challenge, especially to people who were new to the idea of the department. But strangely enough, people seemed to be flying through it!

Lucia grinned as she finally cracked it. "Not very easy actually, i'm quite surprised that I got it right." She admitted. This had to be the toughest challenge Lucia had attempted so far. "Thanks very much!" She said as she took the key. She smiled at the woman then left the room, heading for the next one.

Walking into the next room, Prometheus eyes were entranced by the swirling colours of the Prophecies before him. For what felt like an age, Prometheus’ mind wandered, lost, dreaming of who made these prophecies, of how they came to be. Was this one dreamt and remember or spoken in a prophetic trances? Perhaps one was the dying vision of seer or were they all, just as the department that guarded and recorded them; a mystery…

Then subconsciously, the planets displayed before him crept into his mind, and now not only were the prophecies glowing orbs, but there he stood in the centre of the universe, surrounded by the sun, the planets, the stars; the great cosmic life swirling around him. For a small while the challenges, the ministry, London, life all felt so small, so insignificant. But from deep within his soul another bright light shone, one that told him that he must wake from this wild wonderings, that he need to proceed that he need to help find the missing officials.

“Woah”, he spoke gasping for breathe as if breaking the surface after being trapped at the bottom of the sea, “this room has had quite the affect on me.”

Laura walked in and it was the Department of Mysteries Challenge
Oh... she thought and shook her head
Laura had always thought Department of Mysteries as a very cool Department but found it very,very intimidating and difficult to work in.She felt it was too much of deduction and predictions and the prophecies were even more delicate matter to be handled.
She sighed as she saw the room having 5 prophecies lined up on the table and the table having five peices of parchment.
She walked towards them and just then heard a young woman speak.Turning to her she listened all what the challenge was about and now she really felt this was quite a challenge.
Nodding after she was done listening to her Laura walked towards the table and then began reading the recorded prophecies...
Reading the first one she thought long and hard .she somehow felt it sort of related to life of Albus Dumbledore...but she somehow wasnt that sure...reading his biography by Old Skeeter had made her think of the prophecy that way...
Laura went on to the next prophecy and then the second looked a lot more similar...the mention of Dark Lord's name itself made her think of Harry Potter...
Reading on to the next one Laura frowned...not able to deduce who's prophecy it might be...As far as she deduced it the first two seemed to be that of the very famous people but this one she couldnt place her finger...
Moving on to the next one she read

this one speaks of a woman,so maybe Regan Taylor? she thought but then she went on ahead with looking at the planet charts and started on to find the differences...

Grinning as she said it wasn't too easy, Becca nodded "Byeee" she waved her off before turning to the next person to come through the door.

This guy seemed to be.. a bit of a character. Smiling at him, she looked around the room silently and then nodded "It's okay, just.. take a seat, get your head around the room first." she suggested, watching him concernedly. That was a strange reaction to the room, she had to say.

Smiling at this woman who'd kept her silence, Becca glanced at the other man and then approached the woman "Are you okay?" she asked unsurely, but kindly. She was there to help!

Rinatta entered the room and a look of wonder crossed her face. The prophecies and their swirling beauty caught her eyes and it took her a moment to process the room. She turned to listen intently as Mrs. Lee explained the challenge of this room. Which prophecy belongs to the minister? How was she supposed to determine that even with the planets? It was a start...but she didn't really know much about the minister so she thought it may be very difficult. Well ,she would just have to think it through, time to give it a try. She nodded and walked over to a prophecy, randomly picking which to start with. Not everything had to be methodical. She peered at it for a moment and decided that it couldn't possibly have anything to do with the minister. Okay that was one down and four more to go. Moving to the next one, she paused for a moment. This one she recognised, well so that definitely ruled that one out. Okay two down three to go. The next one took her a moment to process, she wasn't certain whether this would be it or not, it could fit. She would have to look at the others now, but that might be it. Alright the next one threw her for a loop too it could also fit, she would have to read the last one and then look to the planets. As she read the last one though she felt a shiver up her spine. It drew her to think of someone, and something from her past that she had been trying to get away from. Her thoughts came flooding in and she felt a great uneasiness. She tried so hard not to think about it , but that prophecy just brought it to her mind ,even though she knew that the prophecy couldn't have anything to do with it. She was visibly shaken and had to walk away from the table.

She looked to the planets ,but couldn't truly concentrate right now as she was still shaken. She looked for a bit and saw what she thought to be a slight difference in two ,but she was unsure. She tried to regain some composure and then turned to Mrs. Lee. "You said that we may ask for a sentence with two planets in it? May I ask for that sentence please?" she asked as politely as she could. Perhaps it would help her determine if her thoughts were right, hopefully they were. She was still trying to set her mind straight and on the task again.

Smiling as she made her way into the room, still amused by the previous challenge she just finished, Lilah stopped suddenly when someone seemed to be talking out of nowhere! This place just gets more weirder and magical by the minute! Oh wait, no, the woman talking was standing right there. Now she felt even smarter...

She didn't forget that this level was the Department of Mysteries, and to prove that fact, she noticed out of the corner of her eye, the table with the weird glowing orb thingies on it. Those were definitely a mystery. Moving her attention back to the lady speaking, Lilah made a few mental notes that she would definitely be needing. Five prophecies, one relating to the Minister, diagram of planets will help, which give two numbers, one is wrong, hmmm...what was this lady's name? And what really was in the Department of Mysteries besides prophecies? No, wait! Pay attention! Gah!

Well, she got the point down in her mind, so she could go from there to figure this whole thing out. Find the right prophecy pertaining to the Minister! Shouldn't be all the hard right?! Moving to the table with the glowing circle things, and the pieces of paper, she started at the first, reading and re-reading through the words before going down the line until she was finished. Well, what most certainly would help her was...actually knowing a little about their Minister. Which she had failed to do as of yet. All she knew was the Minister was a woman and her name was...well no, Lilah didn't know her name either. Reed? Ralph...Ross...no those were boy names. It started with an R, she knew that...

Names didn't matter right now! Figuring out which prophecy was the Ministers, would help. Because then she would be done and away from here. This place was, slightly creepy. Sighing, Lilah went to the beginning paper and started reading them again, trying to figure out which one mostly sounded like the Minister, or any Minister at all. No such luck, however, she did remember the lady telling them what was going on saying something about planets and how they would help them decipher which prophecy was which.

Looking around, she did in fact find the planets that the lady was probably speaking of, so Lilah maneuvered her way over there, making sure not to bump into anyone and distract them. Staring at the planets rather intensely, she crossed her arms and stood quite still. Hmm, which planets would help? Mwaha! THAT ONE WOULD! And...that one could too. So could THAT one... and, well they all could be the one!

This was definitely more difficult than she thought..."Wasn't there something about a sentence with planets?" she mumbled to herself, before looking around. Hmm, perhaps she could ask that one lady about it.

Regaining his composure, Prometheus thanked Becca for her kindness,
“I am alright, truly. I don’t know what happened, perhaps just low blood sugar” he laughed off, “but now to work.”

He scanned the planets, and instantly he saw two that were not the mirror image of the correct map. So using there numbers, he was able to whittle down the list of five prophecies down to two, however this still didn’t give him what he needed to know.
To add the Minister into the equation, Prometheus needed to remember all he knew of her, but now when the need was dire, Prometheus realised he knew very little of the Life of the Minister for Magic.

“Perhaps, I will just have to understand the prophecies, rather than the person, “ he mused out loud, but still even with a closer look at the prophecies he was utterly stumped. He needed some clarification.

“Excuse me Miss Lee! Just a question on the Minister, does she have a long lost lover, or a hairy secret?” The answer to these would help he make his choice.

Pierre walked into the next room and listened to the person running the challenge talk. It was so much that it was even over his head. He knew that he would have to start at the basics. So he went and looked at the picture of the planets, looking for an obvious difference. The only problem was that nothing jumped out at him. He looked again, this time his face a little closer to the paper. Then he noticed the slight differences in the pictures of planets 3 & 4. He turned to the woman running the challenge, just to test if his assumptions were correct. "The only planets that I see visible differences in are planets 3 & 4." He wondered if this was even close to what they were supposed to be doing. He sure hoped it was.

Smiling at the woman who had obviously listened to her, Becca nodded "Earth is the colour of calm, but Mars is the colour of love." It wasn't going to be THAT easy! Haha. Mean Becca.

Turning her gaze to another woman, Becca smiled kindly at her and nodded in a friendly way before having her attention taken by someone else who called her.

When he laughed off his strange reaction to the room, she nodded with wide eyes and glanced at the other people in the room before smiling as he decided to interpret the prophecies rather than Reagan's life. "Mrs. Lee" she corrected him, feeling proud as she thought of her amazing husband. "And no. No long lost lover. And I sure hope she doesn't have a hairy secret, she is our Minister after all." Becca laughed.

Attention stolen again. Turning to this new man, she smiled and nodded "Yep. So now read the prophecies and see which would fit in most with Minister Taylor." she smiled, giving him a hint towards what he was mean to be doing.

Believing he had matched the correct prophecy to the missing Minister Prometheus turned to Mrs. Lee
"I believe it to be........"

Lilah smiled back at the woman, watching her go talk to someone else. Well, she didn't get to ask her question, but that didn't mean she didn't overhear what the redheaded lady said to the other person! Mwaha!

Something about Earth and Mars. Oh. Hmm...well, she guessed they could be different. Perhaps. Possibly. Thinking hard, and staring at the planets, she realized for a moment that her mind might have wondered off for a few minutes before she came back to reality. Eeek! Have to get back to work!-ish...

Going back to the prophecy glowing things, Lilah read the two she thought were the Minister's over and over again, trying to figure which one was best. However, her eyes kept drifting to the other three. Paw-prints? Whaaaat? The Dark Lord? Pfft he was waaaay gone by now! Eh. It was a fifty-fifty right? If THAT one wasn't the prophecy that pertained to the Minister, than obviously the other one was, right? Right! It was so logical! Well, it was worth a shot.

Turning to the redheaded lady again, Lilah waited until she was free so she could state her answer. "Hi! Would...this be the one?" she asked, pointing to the one she thought was right.
