Rinatta gave a soft reassuring look as she listened to Dee speak. Why did she have to get the setting with a missing child? Children held a definite soft spot for Rin and even though she knew this was just a scenario and there was no child potentially in danger it still tugged at her heartstrings. She made a mental note of the child's description and nodded to Dee to show she had heard her. "Alright. Its okay, we will get some help and find her." she said in the same reassuring tone. She needed to keep the victim calm and get a healer and some assistance to find her missing piece and her daughter.

She looked up from her victim to see Mr. Trumbull and gave him the same smile as she did Dee. "I would need a healer and an Auror to help find her missing piece and her daughter. If we could find who had the chinchilla patronus that would likely be helpful as well." she said with a nod. Her victim seemed quite flighty so she doubted that she would be able to get much more detail than that.

"Sir, what I would do is call the healers to cure the dummy's injury, resuscitate her if ever she fainted and I'd also dispatch investigators from Diagon Alley from here since the dummy thought that someone has sent me here. The dummy must be in real trouble Sir.. real trouble." Chris shook his head as he sympathetically fixed his gazed upon the dummy, hoping that the healers would come at the place really soon.

Dee sat on the floor in front of the man, holding her hands in her lap. Her right leg ended at the knee, the bottom part clearly having been splinched.

“I was leaving Gringott’s,” she started, voice shaky. “And I was going to go home, but someone grabbed my coin bag just as I started to turn and I stopped concentrating.”

She closed her eyes. “I think.. I think I left my leg in the Alley.”

Dee shook her head. “A friend took me. I.. I don’t remember, I’m sorry.”

She looked over at the other man and blinked as the doctor spoke to Obliviator. What an odd name…

Dee blinked up at the woman rapidly. “I.. what.. um..” She rubbed her face with her forearm, her entire hand having been splinched.

“That’s a lot of questions,” she said trying to concentrate. “I left my house because I heard a window break.”

She bit her lip and she held out her injured hand. “I think someone was breaking in.”

Dee sobbed softly in the corner, waiting for someone to approach. Her left ear was missing, made evident by the fact that her blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail.

She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them, closing her eyes. If only help would come!

“Thank you! Thank you!” Dee exclaimed, tears of happiness now falling instead of tears of fear.

Christian looked down at Dee and then back up at the employee. "I mean, what do I need to know so I can get her the appropriate help," Christian stressed. The pretending to be a medical team had been Mr. Smith's idea, so he was playing along, but he really did need to know what actual wizard help was needed.

"Should we call for a specialist?"

"Excellently done," Christian nodded as he reset the dummy, who no longer thanked them profusely. "Clearly, she was confused, but you did a good job getting at least information that will certainly help the right folks in their investigations."

Christian handed over an envelope, before making his way over to the next group.

"The best that could be hoped for, given the situation," Christian said, handing over an envelope and patting the man on the back. "If it were to happen in the field, though, you might try a renervate."

"Carry on."

Rinatta kept her same soft smile as Miss Zaster thanked them and cried in her relief. She knew it was staged....but the emotions seemed so real. Rin had never dealt with a dummy like Dee before so it had been an interesting experience and she saw how useful they could indeed be for training. "Your welcome dear." she said fondly and watched as Mr Trumbull reset her. Have a happy scenario next time Dee.

When he told her that she did excellently Rin beamed him a smile. She always liked to hear that she had done well, no matter what was placed before her. He handed her an envelope ,which she accepted gratefully. "Thank you sir." she said in a pleased voice. Hang in there sir, it will be over soon and hopefully for the better.

DH nodded and smiled at her and turned to Mr. Trumbull.


"Ahh yes, I already fixed her" he said pointing at his eyebrows.

"All we need is someone to fix her memory and somebody to take her home." he said nodding a little.

Alyssa seeing that the woman’s entire hand was missing immediately jumped into action. She didn’t have time to be in shock or to be scared. This woman needed help, Alyssa pulled out her wand. “I’m going to help you Dee” Alyssa didn’t want to woman to be scared either. “Tergeo” Alyssa said as she pointed her wand at the woman’s arm and watched as all the blood that was on her arm was now clean away. The next thing that Alyssa did was say “Ferula” and bandages flew out of her wand and began to wrap them around the woman’s hand. “there that has stopped the immediate damage. I would also need a healer to re grew to bones of her hand and to make sure that what I did was okay. And I would need an auror to go back to the house and to both retrieve the splinched hand and see if there was a break in.” Alyssa smiled at the doll hoping to reassure her as well and to show that Alyssa felt she was done with the challenge.

Christian blinked. And blinked again. Looking down at the clipboard and back up at the man, he flourished his wand and reset the dummy. Sending her away, he sighed.

"Ok. I need a little more information than that. Why does she need her memory fixed? Where had she been? Things like that. People coming on the scene will need that information."

Christian looked over at the dummy and then at his clipboard again. "Nice work on the eyebrows, though."

Christian moved over to Alyssa, blinking again. "See if you can't get any more information. Something doesn't seem... quite right," Christian leaned over to whispered in her ear.

"But nice job on the bandages."

Olivia bit her lip and crouched down in front of the woman, placing a comforting hand on her arm. "Ms Zaster? I noticed you are missing an ear.While I assess the damage, and help you, could you perhaps answer some questions for me?" Turning her back slightly, Olivia pretended to take something out of her pocket, but was really conjuring some bandages - "Ferula" she whispered quietly.She didn't want Dee to see her do it in case the woman was a muggle.It was possible it seemed.

Spinning back around, she handed some to the woman with a smile, all the while inspecting the injury. "To mop up the blood." Tergeo would be good in a minute, once she had established the woman was a witch...."Could you tell me where you've come from, what was happening when you left, and where you were trying to get to?" Olivia took the other bandages and gently held them against the woman's head.

Emma walked slowly into the next room, listening to the next set of instructions. Frowning she turned towards the dummy. So Still?

She chewed down on her lip as she waited for something to treat. Would it be hard? Too Hard? Easy? She didn't know.

She walked forward, looking around the room as she walked. Before stopping infront of the dummy.

"Hello Dee" She said nervously.

Okay..Alyssa thought, more information! "Dee do you know for sure if some one was trying to break in?" After all Dee was in shock when she apparated out of the house. "Would it be safe to go back to the house and get your splinched hand?" Alyssa hoped that she was getting enough information this time.

Pippa chewed at her lip, and patted the womans arm again. "It's.. Er... It's alright, Miss." For the life of Merlin, this woman had one heck of a loud voice, but a reason to use it. She was MISSING a freakin' hand! Which wasn't at all good.

OH. OH. A WAAAAAND! That meant she was a- oh. Okay, so maybe it might not have, but it seemed possible. "Well okay, Miss. That's fine, just.. just take a seat, and take some deep breaths, okay? Would you like some water?" She asked quickly, pulling her bottle of water from the satchel she had with her, and handing it to the woman.

Looking over her shoulder, Pippa called Mr. Trumbull over. "Mr. Trumbull, could I borrow you for a minute please? This lady can't remember anything, nor the reason she has a wand..."

DH smiled and nodded at Mr. Trumbull.

"Well she cannot remember where she has been. I tried everything. All she can remember is that she is in a park where there is a pond that can be used for skating during winter." he nodded as he checked his notes on that.

Christian hurried over as soon as he realized what situation the woman was being presented with. "Oh dear. Well, do you think she really doesn't know what it is? Or doesn't remember? We wouldn't want to obliviate a witch that's just.. well.. forgotten she is one, would we?"

Christian watched the woman closely. "But even if you can't figure that out, well, you should do something about that." He gestured to the stump at the end of the woman's arm.

"Hmmmmm," Christian murmured as he looked at the clipboard. "Didn't she say she thought she was crazy? Or dreaming?" Christian scanned his notes again to make sure he wasn't mixing up situations.

"Might she be... a muggle? You did pretend to be a doctor with a tool from France, after all."

“Ok,” Dee said softly as she took the bandages from the woman. “I was walking to a friend’s house and I wasn’t paying much attention. There was a car…” Dee sniffled, wincing at the pressure being applied to her ear.

“I couldn’t think of anything to do except apparate. It.. it was going to hit me.”

Dee dug into a pocket and pulled out a slip of paper. “That’s the address I was going to. I was.. almost there, I think?”


“Hi,” the dummy said softly. She sat against the wall, one eyebrow missing along with the bottom part of her ear lobe.

“I’m.. I’m so stupid,” Dee said, more to herself than to anyone. “So. Stupid.”

“W-well, I heard a window break?” Dee shifted uncomfortably. “So I ran outside. And.. I think I bumped into my neighbor and the next thing I remember is being here.” Dee, shrugged. “Apparated? I don’t remember apparating…”

Her eyes went wide in surprise as she looked at her splinched hand, as if she were seeing it for the first time. “Did.. did I get side-alonged??”

"Are you ok? You seem rather sad" She moved to pat the dummy in a friendly way, but stopped. Would that be a good thing?

Frowning she patted her gently anyway,

"Anything i could do to help?" She also asked, smiling a little.

Dee sniffled as she look at the woman. "I... don't have a license. I never passed my test but I tried to anyway."

She began to cry more fiercely now. "P-p-part of m-my ear is missing."

She got it then. She took another step forward, hoping to help the women.

"Do you want me to help?" She asked kindly, taking out her wand.

Alyssa was taken aback by the situation. She wasn't expecting the woman to not know where she came from. "You didn't do the apparting youself?" Alyssa began to look around to see if there was another 'dummy' in need. "You bumped into a neighbor? Is it possible that it was your neighbor who apparated you.....or even if it was your neighbor who was breaking in?" Alyssa didn't want to upset to woman any more than Dee already had been, but she needed to figure this out in order to move on in the challenges.

Pippa's brain was ... to say the least, hurting like hell. It was probably from overcomplicating that challenge earlier, it resulted in headaches didn't it -- thinking too much?

"Well Sir, I'm certain she's just forgotten, not that she doesn't know, she said that she had a feeling she should know what it was, yet didn't..." Pippa nodded, and twirled her wand between her two palms, while thinking about the point further.

But before she could probably come to a conclusion, the man had spoken again, and Pip stopped all trains of thought, to listen to him. "That? Oh.. Er. Yeah." Crap. Just simply crap. "I know we can't say where her hand actually is, so as of now we can't retrieve it, but we'll probably need healers, I think. Just because it's a missing hand. Like.. a hand... missing. Missing... EW." Missing hands were just terribly, disturbing, as was other missing limbs.

"Ferula!" Dideeedeeeee. Bandageees! Bandaaaaageeeesss! Pippa smiled awkwardly at the Department Head, and set about wrapping the bandages around Dee's ... hand. Or so, her stump.

Olivia nodded along as the woman explained what had happened.At least she knew now that Dee was a witch, she knew what apparition was, so it meant treating her would be easier with nothing to hide. "You poor thing it must have been very scary.Here," she smiled, removing the bandages she'd been holding the area of the missing ear, "let me just sort this wound out the best I can, then we'll see what can be done about getting your ear back, and sending you to proper Healer's.Okay?"

Flourishing her wand in the air, Olivia produced some more bandages, laying them across her knees as she crouched by Dee's side. "I'm just going to get rid of the blood first, then put some fresh bandages around your head.If you could just keep still for me, please," she gave her a gentle and reassuring squeeze on her arm before starting. "Tergeo," she muttered, siphoning off the dried and still wet blood, trying to clear the wound as best she could.She then wrapped the new bandages slowly around Dee's head, covering the wound, and tying them at the back. "There we go, now just have to get your ear and put it back on," she grinned. "I'll be back in a minute."

Taking the paper with the address of Dee's friend on, Olivia made her way over to the Department Head in charge. "Mr Trumbull, sir? Dee here is a witch, I've established that as she apparated herself out of a situation.She was heading to this address," she handed him the paper to inspect.Clearing her throat, she continued. "Now a car was involved, it nearly hit her which is why she apparated, so this must have been a Muggle neighbourhood she was walking through." Olivia went over the details in her head, making sure she conveyed it properly. "I don't think there is any dangerous situation that means Auror's can't go back and retrieve her ear, but I also think that Obliviator's will be needed for any muggles present, especially the car driver, who would have seen her pop into thin air, I'm sure."

Looking back over to Dee, Olivia gave her a sympathetic smile, before turning her attentions back to Mr Trumbull. "I've sorted her wound, siphoned off any blood and wrapped it in bandages....Not sure there is much more I can do...." She left it hanging, in case he COULD think of something.

Dee looked up at the woman, at little unsure. “Do you think you can help?” The dummy seemed, skeptical, if a dummy could feel anything. She reached up with hand and touched her earlobe gingerly.

“It hurts.”

“I don’t think I did…” Dee sighed. “I guess my neighbor might have been about to apparate? Or maybe he thought there was trouble and wanted to get me out of there?” Dee shook her head. “I just don’t know.”

“The window was in the front of the house. I ran into him in the back, so he wasn’t breaking in, no.”

Dee looked up at the two talking and smiled as the bandages wrapped around where her hand should have been. “Do you suppose someone made me forget?” Dee looked around the room rather unconcerned by that prospect. It seemed she didn’t even remember enough to be upset, anymore.

Dee sniffled as the woman wrapped the bandages around her head. “Thank you for being so kind,” Dee said softly, as she watched the woman walk away.

"Sure thing" She smiled taking another step forward to look at the wounded ear.

"Where have you come from?" She asked, needing to get all the information before doing anything. "And was this your original destination?"

She was wondering if it was saff to go retreave the missing ear.

"Don't touch your ear, in case it gets worse" She said softly looking at it.

"Do you believe you need any other help, like a healer, Oblivitor?" She asked, realising she was asking alot, she stopped.

"Ah, there we are!" Christian nodded as he heard the dummy give more details. "Seems we know a little more, now. What course of action would you like to pursue?"

"Well done," Christian noted as he watched. "I do agree that it's probably best to leave to the healers at this point. Can't dispatch others if we don't know to where. They might be able to address the memory issue as well."

Christian extracted an envelope and handed it to the woman with a smile. "Take a rest if you need it. You look like you could use one."

And with that, he reset the dummy and moved on.


Christian looked up in surprise as the woman told her nearly everything he would need to know without him having asked for it. "Excellent!" He took the paper from her and smiled, tucking it in his pocket.

"I do believe you've covered every possibility. Masterfully done, truly." Christian dug out another envelope and handed it to the woman.

Dee sniffled some more, dropping her hands into her lap. "I-I was at Florean's." She hiccuped as she cried. "Sorry."

Tucking her hair behind her uninjured ear, Dee looked up. "I was only thinking of going down a few shops." Her sniffles grew into full sobs.

"I-I-I'm s-s-so s-s-stupid."
