A woman with blond hair and black glasses was running from a shop and bumped into Dee? Lucia had her theories but wasn't one hundred percent sure on them so far. Hearing someone approach her, Lucia turned around to see Mr Trumbull had come over. She glanced back at Dee as he spoke to her then looked again at the man, trying to think of a way to explain a course of action. "Well I think that Dee here will just need a lot of rest after her head has been healed properly, then I think she will be fine. As for her description of what happened.." The lack of description more like. "..It concerns me that someone was running out of Madame Malkin's, perhaps it could of been some sort of crime, a burglary for example." Lucia said, although she was probably totally wrong.
"I believe that the store should be contacted to find out whether anything was missing from their shop, but also to find out if any of the shop keepers saw what this woman was doing. If there is any development on that then Aurors should also be contacted." Lucia explained, glancing down at her notes for a moment. It could be a possibility, however it would be embarrassing if all this was irrelevent. The main thing was that her splinching victim would surely be fine after her course of action. She hoped anyway. Christian nodded as the woman spoke. "Very good, very good." Scribbling down a few notes, he looked over to the dummy. "She'll be just fine." Smiling kindly, he unholstered his wand and turned to the dummy, resetting her.
Handing over an envelope, Christian tucked his quill behind his ear. "Carry on."
And with that, Christian walked away.

Never mind, obviously the woman was hurt, or something had happened involving splinching yeah? That was the point of this exercise, of course it was. "Right.. Er. Hi, I'm Pippa. And you... have a hand missing." Now, wasn't that lovely? Atleast there wasn't any blood. Blood didn't work with Pippa. But nevertheless, she placed a hand on the womans arm --the one with a hand-- and smiled at her again. "Okay, " Well she knew for starters that if she just mentioned knowing the womans name, then there could be some sort of freakout, alongside the one about her hand being missing. "Could you tell me your name, and how you got here? By that I mean.. well.. Obviously you've been splinched through apparation, am I right? Now, would you be able to tell me where you came from and what was your intended destination?" Was she being too pushy? No. of course she wasn't. Was she? Erk.

Christian flourished his wand at the dummy, resetting her. "Good luck with the rest." Ohhhh. Nodding with a small smile, and trying to make sure her cheeks didn't turn red in embarrassment that she had been freaking out over strawberry syrup, Lilah moved to stand up since her legs were falling asleep. And she needed them for the rest of the tasks!
Well, she liked to make sure people felt safe and taken care of. And, she was done? Oh, thank Merlin!! Because dummy or not, she was horrible at treating people. "Thank you....sir." Sir. Eh. She really needed to learn these people's names.

She winced at the sight of it, opting to look away. “Dee Zaster. That’s my name. And I was shopping at, well, it’s this little independent organic place, um. What’s it called.” Dee reached up and scratched her head, thinking.
“Lisle’s, that’s what it’s called,” she nodded emphatically. “I was looking at lettuce when BAM. I don’t remember anything else, except maybe she had curly red hair. Maybe.” Dorian's gaze followed the woman as she looked down at her side, and he let a sympathetic look cross his face as she spoke. "Some people just don't think of others," he murmured, as if in agreement. Obviously the injury wasn't from a cart, unless that was how the poor woman had ended up splinched. But Dorian didn't quite think any self-respecting witch or wizard would try to Apparate while holding on to a cart.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ms. Zaster. And take your time," he said as she tried to remember anything. "I'm just going to clean up this injury to your side, okay?" Hopefully he could keep things subtle enough so as not to raise too many suspicions, although she seemed to have forgotten about the cushioning charm. Pointing his wand carefully at Ms. Zaster's side, he nonverbally cast, Tergeo. At least that cleaned up the blood, and he would hopefully not have to explain the incantation, since she wouldn't have heard it. After a quick Ferula, again cast nonverbally for safety's sake, her side was firmly bandaged and he looked up at her again with a smile.
"Okay, thank you, Ms. Zaster. You should be feeling a bit better now, but I'm going to consult with a colleague about getting a doctor to look at your side more. Just to make sure everything is going to be fine. Does that sound okay?," he said to her, in a professional yet still friendly tone, before trying to signal the man running this challenge. As far as he knew they'd need healers, and possibly Obliviators. Both for this woman, although he thought he covered his bases rather well, and for any possible other Muggle witnesses at the grocer.

| Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once... Sam had never actually splinched himself, but the thought of it didn't sound pleasing at all. Truthfully, he had only apparated once or twice in his time of being out of Hogwarts; the reason for this was because he had spent most of his life out of Hogwarts around muggles in New York. Plus, he never really had a reason for apparating unless it was long distance traveling.
Now with him being back in London, he might pick up on apparating once more.
As the Department Head spoke about what to do when someone got splinched, the Division Head placed close attention, making mental notes of everything he was saying. Hopefully, he wouldn't forget anything once this speech was over with because if he did, he was in trouble! Then again, there were posters, so that will help him to not forget anything.
He looked over at the dummy that the man called Ms. Zaster and when the man was done talking, he headed right over to the dummy. Now he was standing only a few inches away from Ms. Zaster. He was so ready for this challenge!

She looked him up and down, considering, as she dropped her hand from her side, revealing a red stain.
“I don’t… don’t…”

Dee looked up at her, eyes wide. “W-was it a trick?” Rinatta was a bit puzzled at her response. She had said 'chasing' ,which Rin had assumed to mean that someone had been chasing her. Perhaps she misunderstood her? English wasn't her first language so it was foreseeable that she could have made a mistake, but she never really had before. Chasing typically implied that someone was 'chasing' you... A trick? " I don't know of any tricks having been played dear. When you spoke to me at first you mentioned 'chasing' . I had assumed that you meant someone was chasing you?" she said/asked a little bit puzzled. "If you weren't being chased , it is safe to go back then, yes? Do you know?" she asked her calmly. If it was possible someone needed to go back and fetch that missing piece of her shoulder, it would be painful to have to regrow.

[/COLOR] ''You are welcome, Dee...'' Ryan replied kindly and smiled though he was quite aware that she was not a real humanbeing. Not being a real humanbeing did not mean to Ryan that he should not show sympathy towards her. ''Platform 10. Okay.'' he said carefully listening the rest of the woman's words. ''Well...'' he began to remark what he got so far as the other man asked for them ''...she apparated from platform 10 of King's Cross when she, accidentally i believe since that place must be full of Muggles which makes chances of her being hit by an enemy low, was hit falling on the tracks. And since a train was coming she panicked and apparated to where she considered she could be safe.''
He stopped took a breath then went on ''To make a guess safety for a witch among Muggles can be some wizarding area yet she was panicking and subliminally, when they happen to panic like that, the very first safe place which comes to their mind is...home. Therefore she apparated from King'S Cross platform 10 to her home. Yet she lacked concentration due to her panicking splinching herself, she left her nose behind, perhaps, on the tracks. So, i don't think it is completely safe to go back. I need some transportation officers to retrieve the nose with extra precautions about the train that might come on the tracks and obliviators for platform 10 is a Muggles place. Some of them, i believe, did see the incident. Ah...and of course we need a healer to fix her nose and wound''

Dorian had checked once again on Ms. Zaster, who he was quickly seeing as not just a dummy. That was either a good or a bad thing, but if it got him through the challenge, he was just going to go with it. In either case, she hadn't responded to his question, so he wanted to make sure she hadn't passed out again or anything. And for a moment he'd forgotten about signaling the Ministry head.
Turning as he heard the question, however, he smiled. Lowering his voice, in case Ms. Zaster was listening, he shrugged a little. "In this case, it seems both. Ms. Zaster, due to certain circumstances, has proven to be an innocent Muggle who got caught up in someone trying to Apparate. Namely, she seemed to not understand the concept of the cushioning charm I'd cast to make her comfortable before she had regained consciousness, so I told her it was an experimental invisible cushion that was the closest thing I had at hand. She seems to have believed that, but even so she probably shouldn't be allowed to run around with stories like that." He paused for a second to glance at the woman again, before smiling wryly as he realized the Ministry head probably hadn't needed that information.
"She has an injury to her side, which doesn't seem severe but I cleaned it and bandaged it the best I could. All she could tell me that she remembered was that she was at the grocer, she said it was called Lisle's, near the lettuce, and a woman who possibly had curly red hair ran into her. She thinks the woman's cart caused her injury. I presume that is the person who tried to Apparate, leaving Ms. Zaster with her injuries. It is possible there may have been more witnesses to the incident, since it was in a reasonably public place," at least he'd think the produce section of a grocer would be fairly public, "so the idea of sending a team of Obliviators out, along with possibly a team of investigators to try and find the woman who had Apparated, or at least her reason for doing so, would probably be advisable." As he finished his statement, he took a breath. He thought all the information he had gotten from Ms. Zaster had been relayed, at least. So now all he had to do was wait.

''And about that being not very specific, i quite disagree with you'' another kind smile ''Thank you, Dee'' Then Ryan turned back to Christian when he spoke to him.
Ah...and of course we need a healer to fix her nose and wound'' Christian nodded as the man spoke, quirking an eyebrow at his deduction of where she was apparating to. "Couldn't the Ministry also be thought of as 'safety?' I'll make a note that you think she was headed home, but it's certainly not a definite." Christian scribbled on his clipboard some before putting it down. "Everything else makes sense, so I think we're done here," Christian smiled as he reset the dummy, and then handed over an envelope. Christian finished up his notes, and without waiting for an answer, handed over an envelope. "Nicely done."

And with that, Dee collapsed. "Wha-wha.." He trailed off as he put his finger on the dummy's pulse to check if she was still alive. Oh man, did she fainted or something? A stain? that must means that she has done a crime or injured somebody but wait she collapsed so that means she was the one that has been injured.
He took a glimpse around, and then saw the department head. Chris almost forget that Mr. Trumbull would be helping those wizards or witches who were in need of assistance. He turned to the aged department head. "Sir, I can't ask her some few questions when she's in that poor state of being. Apparently she's injured so there should be experienced healers that will cure her lesion. And with her knowing Diagon Alley, that is just a strong indication that she's a witch and therefore, memory modification nor removal is not needed in this kind of situation."

Which - now that he came to think of it - was just plain strange. Why had he told the dummy how he would proceed...this wasn't real after all. The way the man was peeking around him at his notes suggested that he didn't have to repeat what he was going to do next...or should he? "Well, Sir, like I said. I would definitely send for some Aurors to make certain the duelers are caught and the duel is taken care of." Then after a short pause he added, "And of course to look for the dum- Dee's ear. Furthermore, we would need Obliviators to modify the Muggle witnesses' minds." With a curt nod he turned back to the dummy. Quote:

Besides, it wasn't like the dummy could feel any pain because it was a dummy. Err. "Now..." Michel slowly removed his wand from its holster and pointed it at the the side of dummy's head. "Tergeo." He uttered at first to clean out the "wound" before he made another swift movement with his wand to conjure up a bandage.
Did he have to actually put the bandage over the place where her ear was missing? After a short moment of hesitation he moved closer to the dummy and quite clumsily wrapped the bandages around her head...so that it was covering not only the missing patch but also one of her eyes. "I'm sorry...that's the best I could." He glanced back at the Department Head. He wasn't a healer after all...

A slight wind seems to blow into the room, carrying a small piece of parchment with it. The parchment flutters about for a few moments, then finally falls to the floor in the middle of the room. OOC: The Ministry of Magic RPG Education Fair Mystery is scheduled to come to a close on Wednesday, May 5. We hope everyone is enjoying the roleplay! |

Pierre listened to the instructions...a dummy great apparition he shuddered at the thought knowing he took the test three times himself before passing. He approached Ms. Zaster kneeling down he wore a kind look "Miss are you hurt?" he asked pulling his wand out "What was you're intended destination and where were you last?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: TBD First Year | Mommy of 3 <3 <3 <3 Alyssa had also found splinching rather funny, but she never thought about it as if some one could be injured. She walked over to the dummy…what did he call her again? Dee! Alyssa remembered as if a light had suddenly gone on in her head. Alyssa was ready for this challenged. "Hello Dee..." Alyssa found it odd to be talking to a doll, but she needed to in order to pass this test. "Where did you apparte from? Do you have anything mising?" Alyssa hoped she was doing the right thing so far. She had asked the questions she needed so far. "Do you feel that it is safe to go back?"

He replied while taking the envelope from the other man.
Good, another challenge down, only 3 more to go.
