Dee shrugged. “Once I got my hands on a wand, I got someone to drop the charms and I just turned as quickly as I could, not really thinking about where I’d go.” Laura looked at Dee and just nodded no,go on she said and then she quietly listened to her and her eyes widened as she heard Dee talk.
Listening to her talk Laura nodded as she took in everything that Dee said ok,this sounds really, really serious.I mean she didnt know how she was for weeks in an empty warehouse. It looks as if someone must have kidnapped her and left her there. And then she had looked for a wand and asked someone to help her be done with the charms? she thought. so this looks like the person who brought her to the warehouse was most probably a wizard/witch but what wizard/witch would leave his wand? she thought and shook her head.
Coming out of her thoughts Laura looked around to see if there was anyone who would take down their report.
Then looking back to Dee she asked um...alright Dee,you said that you were in a warehouse.do you know how you got there?or what you were doing when you found yourself in warehouse? she asked and you spoke of getting a wand, right? she asked looking at the woman can i have a look at it? she asked.

"Okay Ms. Zaster. I believe you have just bumped into a person whilst they apparated. A healer will be along shortly to fix your forehead." She said calmly. It was probably best to reassure Dee about the situation first.
"Do you remember what this person looked like Dee?" She asked, as it sounded quite peculiar for someone to be running out of a shop then apparating. "Did you happen to see why they were running?"

He fell silent still looking at the woman then he went on ''Alright now King's Cross. Now go back in time, back to the King's Cross. What were you doing there?'' Dee blinked at the man as he spoke, fake tears clinging on her fake eyelashes as she lowered her hand. It was suddenly apparent that her nose was missing, though she was unaware. “What? Look inside your… mind?” Dee looked confused and more than a little uncomfortable.
“I.. I was showing my husband where to take our daughter when she starts at Hogwarts. I-I won’t be able to take her and he’d never been.” Dee chewed her lip, hoping that they were ok.
“Someone bumped into me and I fell. I-I fell onto the tracks and.. and.. and a train was coming. Apparating was the first thing I thought of.”
Dee fell silent and dragged her hand across her eyes to wipe away the tears, feeling for the first time that she had no nose.
Eyes wide, she touched the spot with her hand, and looked up at the man alarmed. Quote:

He listened to Mr. Trumbull's integral, but rather intricate, instructions. Now that he had mustered enough information from the incumbent department head of Magical Transportation whom he met at Muggle Bookstore, he knew that he would and could handle the task at ease without troubling his mind too much.
He then obligingly approached the magical medical dummy. The dummy had probably splinched herself and so, in order to retrieve the lost body part, he needed to gather required information from the dummy and afterwards, he could dispatch obliviators to the place where the dummy had lost it...or her body part. "Hello Ms. Zaster. I'd like to inquire about a few certain things. I'm a bit wondering of where were you trying to go? Where did you come from? and most importantly, what was left behind?" He thought that those questions were enough and just in case the dummy would like to ask who he is then a little introduction would suffice. "By the way, I'm Christopher Greenleaf." “H-how do you know my name?” The dummy stuttered at the man, cowering against the wall, clutching her side.
“W-who sent you?” She looked around frantically. “D-did you follow me here from Diagon Alley? Hmmm?”
She winced again, clutching her side. Quote:

Lilah looked down at the hurt foot when Ms. Zaster had, completely missing the pained expression, but did see the shoe move slightly. Hmm, was it broken or something? Fractured? Sprained? Bruised? How bad was it?! Frowning, Lilah was just about to ask how painful it was on a scale of 1-10, when she saw hands reach out and squeezed it. WHO in their RIGHT MIND would do that?
Just about to look around and glare at whoever did that, there was a sudden yell, making the icy blue eyed woman jump about a mile. Well, it wasn't really a yell, but it was a pained voice, and Lilah hated that kind of tone. "Oh, nonononono don't touch it." It was just...common sense not to touch it! She was running out of seconds where she could buy time for this! She didn't heal humans! She healed animals! However, with a determined expression, the blond haired woman maneuvered herself around so she sat in front of the victim's foot, and looked at her in the eyes. "If it's alright with you, I'd like to check out your foot. To make sure it isn't broken or anything serious. And to do that, I need to take off your shoe..." Which was probably going to hurt. Although, from where she was sitting, it was extremely uncomfortable, which meant it probably wasn't very cloud worthy where Ms. Zaster was. A cushioning charm though would do just the trick! And that one she definitely knew!
Listening to her story, Lilah frowned once again, as she continued to look down and stare at the shoe. This poor woman. Well it was a dummy, but if it was a woman, poor her. Probably just wanted a regular day out and about and then all this happened. "Who was this man? If...you don't mind me asking that is. How did he confront you? Did he hurt you? Anytime now or before? Do you need...help? With him I mean. We have very good and trained aurors at the ministry Miss."
Taking out her wand, she performed the cushioning charm around them, making it more comfortable and to make sure she quite rambling to the woman before she looked back up to the woman. "Would you like your husband here? I know a lot of people feel better when someone they know is around to help." And perhaps that way, she could send for other assistance as well.
“No no, don’t call him,” Dee said quickly. “I don’t want him to worry. I’ll be ok, I’m sure. H-he.. doesn’t know.” Dee looked up at the woman knowingly, before reaching down and pulling off her shoe.
She gasped as she looked at a red-stained sock. Looking up at the woman again, and then back down at the foot, she peeled off the sock, revealing that her foot was missing three toes.
Lip trembling, she looked up at the woman again. “It was my.. my ex. H-he shows up sometimes? Swears he’ll get me back. That he still loves me. But.. he’s.. really creepy about it.” Quote:

He then thought of Obliviators. He needed one. "I bet you are tired, here have a seat" he said after conjuring a soft chair at the back of Dee. "Can you tell me what happened and where are you from?"
“A doctor! Oh thank goodness!” Dee approached the man and wrapped her arms around him. “I think I’m going crazy!”
She released him and saw the chair out of the corner of her eye. “For instance, I’m pretty sure this chair just appeared out of nowhere. But that’s ridiculous!”
She looked at him again. “Maybe I’m dreaming. Fell asleep in the park. Yes. That must be it.” Quote:

He needed to work his way up to asking if he could examine her for injury. No need to scare a woman who was so obviously confused.
Switching his position so he was kneeling, instead of crouching, he watched as she noticed the cushioning charm. At least she seemed more comfortable now, so perhaps things would go easier. But at her question, a concerned expression flickered on his face. Muggle, he thought. "Miss, it's a experimental cushion, made to appear invisible. I simply wanted to make sure you were comfortable and it was the nearest thing available." Rush to come up with a even marginally believable excuse, then get back on topic. Especially since if she was a Muggle, Obliviators would be necessary. "It's not that important. Making sure you are okay is what is important." He needed to find out what went wrong, so he could stabilize her and figure things out. Therefore he needed to question her, in the nicest way possible. “Ooo, invisible cushion?” Dee bounced on it a little, before becoming dizzy and leaning back against the wall. “Errrgh.”
As she leaned back, she moved her hand from her abdomen, revealing a growing red stain. As the edge of her shirt lifted up, it was apparent that she had a minor injury to her side.
“I.. I don’t feel so good.” Dee looked up at the man. “I was at the grocer and this woman ran into me. I.. I must have hit my head. But how did I get here?” Quote:

Because saying people's names made everything better. Or at least that was what some people said...
She HAD apparated here, hadn't she? Well, of course the dummy hadn't but he was supposed to believe that that was what had happened. "Are you okay?" Apart from the obvious of course. The missing ear and all. Well, and the dummy being, well, a dummy and therefore not actually alive or anything. “Um, I’m missing an EAR, does that look ok to you?” Dee looked at the man as if he were crazy. “No, of course I’m not ok!”
She put her hands on her hip. “I apparated away from a duel in the middle of the street. I was a little preoccupied with not getting hit to make sure I didn’t splinch myself.” Quote:

Don't...call him? He didn't know? Raising a brow at the dummy woman, Lilah slowly nodded anyways, before looking down to see what she was doing. Oh good, so she didn't have to touch the foot. However, she gasped at the same time as Ms. Zaster had once the sock was revealed. So, she did have to deal with blood. Human...blood. Great. She was fine with healing herself, but others...
Lilah almost moved back away from the woman when she started to take the sock OFF. She didn't want to see what happened to the foot!! But she had to stay calm! Imagine it was an animal foot or something. That would help, right? Hopefully it would, because the lump in her throat was starting to reveal itself.
Listening to the woman speak definitely took her mind, and eyes, off of the empty space on the foot where three toes should have been. "I bet we can fix that for you. With your ex i mean. Where he won't bug you anymore." They could do that right? Some kind of restraining order? They had that in the muggle world, so why couldn't they have that in the wizarding world as well! Pray to Merlin that they did. "And fix this foot of yours. A healer should be here momentarily..." Please! So she didn't have to touch the foot! But it seemed like she had to do something. "Where did you apparate from? Do you remember?" she asked, picking her wand back up that was dropping when Ms. Zaster had taken her shoe off. "So we can...find your toes." Eek! She had to stay calm though! So she didn't freak out the woman. "Okay, to stop the bleeding, I need to bandage your foot. I...don't know if it's going to hurt or not," since she had yet to try this spell on herself, "But it's necessary until the healer can get here."
Best to tell the woman what she was doing, and be honest with it since being kept in the dark just made the situation worse. Staring at the woman for a moment longer, Lilah looked down at the foot, swallowing for a moment, before pointing her wand at it. "Tergeo." she muttered, first trying to clear away any of the blood and other such things to make it a bit more clean before actually bandaging it. "Ferula." To her surprise since this was her first try with that particular spell, bandages had appeared, however they didn't wrap themselves around the foot. Did they have to do that manually?! Meh! Well, she could do that. Slowly, she started to gently wrap the bandages around the foot, especially the part that needed the most attention. Thankfully her hands were clean beforehand.

When he pulled out his wand, she flinched, but before she could say anything, she felt the skin knit together below her fingers. It was.. lumpy. And not nose-like at all. The spell had closed the wound, but had certainly not restored her features.
And she could tell.

Dee shrugged. “I suppose I should talk to the aurors.” |

Quote:
“Thank you,” Dee said through gritted teeth as the bandage was wrapped around her foot. “Keeping him away from me is a great idea.”
Biting her lip as she tried to flex her remaining toes, she squeezed her eyes shut tight. “I left from, um..” Dee reached up to rub her forehead as she thought.
“I was outside Florean’s. In the Alley.”
Christian made his way over to the woman who had toe-less Dee. She seemed a bit squeamish around the strawberry ‘blood.’ “You’re doing well,” he said, crouching down with them, an envelope clipped to his board. “I’m the healer and I’m here. What do I need to know? And what’s your next move?” Quote:

“Um. Well, I don’t know who either of them were, but…” Dee dropped her voice low. “I have some ideas. But I don’t think I should talk about them here.” Dee looked at the woman knowingly.
“He had long grey hair, was older. Had a crescent shaped scar on his cheek. And she was younger. Dark dark hair, almost black. Very pale, rather short.”
Dee shrugged. “I suppose I should talk to the aurors.”
“Someone need a healer? And an auror?” Christian slipped up next to the woman quietly. “What’s the situation?”
Christian held his quill at the ready, poised to mark on his clipboard, an envelope tucked in his pocket.

“I was outside Florean’s. In the Alley.” Lilah kept glancing between bandaging the woman's foot, and the woman's expression as she continued to wrap the wound. Nodding slightly with a small smile, she finished with a small sticking charm at the end so she didn't have to push or pull the bandage to make the end stay wrapped. "I think so too." she agreed, before listening intently on where Ms. Zaster said she was before. "Florean's? Alrighty then." Smiling once more, she was just about to, well she didn't know what to say to the woman anymore. That she was doing wonderful at the moment? She had three toes missing! Well, she was as good as she could be considering the situation she was in. Quote:

Looking at Dee once more and at her injured hand and turning back to the young man who came to help them she continued Situation seems to be really serious one. From the information i could get from Dee she said waving to the woman sitting there it seems to look like she was kidnapped.
She has informed me that she was in some sort of empty warehouse, where she couldnt hear a thing from outside.she doesnt know how and when she got there.
As soon as she could get a hand on a wand she tried escape and got a woman drop off the charms around. And running away from the warehouse she didnt know where to go and just apparated in hurry i guess resulting in splinching her fingers.
Well...we think we should talk to an auror about this situation because the people she described Laura looked at Dee again and then taking a deep breath in she continued looking back at the man they certainly dont seem to fit any description of some ordinary wizard and witch she said

“I.. I don’t feel so good.” Dee looked up at the man. “I was at the grocer and this woman ran into me. I.. I must have hit my head. But how did I get here?” Dorian smiled a little as it seemed his little story about the invisible cushion was met with excitement, although his expression turned concerned as the bouncing led to the woman acting ill again. "You just need to rest, okay?," he said, watching as she leaned against the wall again. "I'm just going to ask you a few questions . . ." Glancing down, he saw a red stain on her shirt, then the wound that was revealed as her shirt rode up slightly.
"May I?," he asked, gesturing at the wound in her side as he needed permission to examine it, before he nodded as she continued to explain. "Someone must have transported you here as soon as they realized you were injured," he said calmly, trying to keep the woman from getting more nervous. "Can I have your name? And, if you can recall, the name of the grocer you were at. Perhaps we can find out more about the woman who ran into you. Anything else you can remember would be immensely helpful as well." The more information he had, the easier the investigation into how an innocent Muggle woman had ended up with a splinching injury would go.

Dee sighed. “I was just walking and two men pulled wands and started at each other. I didn’t get a good look at them. I apparated straight away, hoping for home but ending up here.” Quote:

"Someone must have transported you here as soon as they realized you were injured," he said calmly, trying to keep the woman from getting more nervous. "Can I have your name? And, if you can recall, the name of the grocer you were at. Perhaps we can find out more about the woman who ran into you. Anything else you can remember would be immensely helpful as well." The more information he had, the easier the investigation into how an innocent Muggle woman had ended up with a splinching injury would go. Dee looked down as the man gestured, grimacing. “She must have hit me with her cart, too! How dreadfully inconsiderate!”
She winced at the sight of it, opting to look away. “Dee Zaster. That’s my name. And I was shopping at, well, it’s this little independent organic place, um. What’s it called.” Dee reached up and scratched her head, thinking.
“Lisle’s, that’s what it’s called,” she nodded emphatically. “I was looking at lettuce when BAM. I don’t remember anything else, except maybe she had curly red hair. Maybe.” |

She winced again, clutching her side.
Oh man. He should have been careful of what he would going to say when he saw the dummy. Well, if he'd keep his 'cool' and stay calm and all, he knew that he'd surpass this round's challenge. Chris let the first question passed out for he didn't know what to answer that would totally satiate the dummy appalled and surprised dummy. "Ah. No. Not really. No one has sent me. I was just looking around and has found you quite... helpless...?" Chris looked around, the place seemed peaceful, he wondered what could had happened to the dummy. He just hoped that his alibi wasn't lame at all. He took a deep breath and said, "I'm the Division Head of Magical Security. I can help you of whatever problem you are facing right now." Well, he could really help the poor dummy... unless the dummy was the one who created a fiasco.

Best to leave that to the actual healers, yes?” Christian looked at the man quite seriously. "Bandages and pressure." Still smiling for no apparent reason Ryan looked at the magical transportation man when he adresses to him. So, he had done everything wrong. And he considered it natural since he was neither a healer nor a transportation man which made the other man right for his words. ''That's good for her'' he replied when Christian had remarked that she would not remember whatever he had done or said. ''Thanks for your help'' and with another smile he turned back to the woman. ''Hello again Dee. First of all i'd like to inform you that i know and see that your nose is missing and you have splinched yourself at your attemp to apparate from King's Cross to somewhere i do not know yet. Yet before i start asking you any questions i'd like to stop your bleeding in a more reasonable way'' he took his wand out again and pointed it at the woman's face where her nose should have been. ''Ferula!'' he blinked a couple of times then went on. ''Now. Can you tell me from what part of King's Cross you apparated from and where you did try to apparate to''

"Excellent job treating someone so obviously in distress."
Christian handed over an envelope, smiling in a rather grandfatherly way as he did so. "Good luck." Laura looked at the man to whom she talked. She watched him look at Dee and then reset her.She just couldnt imagine taht she was just a dummy. She shook her head and looked at the man and smiled as he spoke to her and handed over her an envelope.
Taking the envelope she opened it to see the key in it.Smiling back at him nodded and then waving thank you she said and left the room for her next task.

“Do you stop to ask questions when you’re caught in the crossfire?” She chuckled lightly to show that she was merely teasing. “Diagon Alley? No. Muggle street, gobs of witnesses. I’m sure it’ll be quite a mess to clean up.” Dee shrugged. “Porter, I think it was. Yes, Porter Street.”
Dee sighed. “I was just walking and two men pulled wands and started at each other. I didn’t get a good look at them. I apparated straight away, hoping for home but ending up here.” He felt his head cocking to one side slightly as he half-listened to the dummy's answer...his attention had been caught by the rather unhealthy amount of red liquid on her head. And now on her fingers. "That's good..." He replied absentmindedly before glancing back at her face. "You're bleeding." Michel stated rather insensitively, increasing the risk of her freaking out over the blood immensely...not that Michel noticed that.
Right...Diagon Alley, that was the name of the place. Well, not that he cared much. "No, I don't. Of course not." Michel replied, giving the dummy a rather strange look. What kind of question was that?! As the dummy proceeded, however, his eyes widened slightly at the mention of numerous Muggle witnesses. That was bad. Very bad. "Well, we definitely need Aurors to stop the duel and/or find the culprits. Furthermore, we'll need Obliviators to modify all those Muggle witnesses' minds-" He trailed off, glancing back at the dummy a little warily. "Would you like me to stop the bleeding?" Why hadn't she stopped the bleeding herself? She was a witch after all...well, not really...she was a dummy...IT was a dummy. Err. |

Dee picked at her cuticles. “I’m sorry I’m not much help. I just… don’t feel very well.” "It's not a problem Miss." Lucia said politely as Dee apologized. "You can just lay down and rest yourself for a moment as the healer arrives." She said, then began to jot down some of the details that she spoke about. It was quite a peculiar situation that she was describing. A woman with blond hair and black glasses was running from a shop and bumped into Dee? Lucia had her theories but wasn't one hundred percent sure on them so far. Quote:

She glanced back at Dee as he spoke to her then looked again at the man, trying to think of a way to explain a course of action. "Well I think that Dee here will just need a lot of rest after her head has been healed properly, then I think she will be fine. As for her description of what happened.." The lack of description more like. "..It concerns me that someone was running out of Madame Malkin's, perhaps it could of been some sort of crime, a burglary for example." Lucia said, although she was probably totally wrong.
"I believe that the store should be contacted to find out whether anything was missing from their shop, but also to find out if any of the shop keepers saw what this woman was doing. If there is any development on that then Aurors should also be contacted." Lucia explained, glancing down at her notes for a moment. It could be a possibility, however it would be embarrassing if all this was irrelevent. The main thing was that her splinching victim would surely be fine after her course of action. She hoped anyway.
