The West Field is... far away. Like 25 minutes far. And there's no water tap. Or a whole lot of anything else. Sorry lower level ticketholder, maybe you should have arrived sooner.

| Marco dredged his way to the West field. He peered out over it. "Um is this it?" He could see no tap. Nothing. "This can't be where all the best tickets are. There are...poor people here." He peered down at his tickets. It said the West Field, and here they were.

Xana followed along with Marco, Claudian, and Tag, heading toward the top... seats? "Maybe you misread the tickets? Do they say which field or box?" She looked around. It definitely wasn't opulent. More like... squishy, mucky, sodden fields. And weeds. Lots of weeds, including a few that actually would catch her eye as worthy of picking cuttings from for her gardens were she looking at them. What she was looking at, instead, was what wasn't there -- the lack of luxurious box seats, opulent accomodations, comfort, privacy and more comfort. Also the pitch was very very very far from them. "This can't be right. Seriously. Check the tickets, Marco."

| Marco frowned and checked his ticket again. "It says Top Box. M. Denver. West Field camp. I guess we put our tents up here. But it is so......" It was too disgraceful for words. And allegedly they shouldn't use magic. That wasn't happening. Marco was going to make this the best field out there. Clean and tidy.

Chris just apparated at the West Field. It was really far away from the Apparition and Portkey check-in to walk to. As he arrived, he glanced around and noticed that the place was isolated. West field has lesser people and people settled in separated ways. He went to the people near to him, and recognized that one of the two was wasn't security-checked correctly. He must be the one that presented a fake ID at the other Chris. He ambled in east paces as he reached the two. "Hello, I am Christopher Greenleaf, Division Head of Magical Security. Have you truly cleared by security?" He asked the younger one.

He was huffing quite audibly by the time they reached the West Field. Readying himself for a collapse onto the mud, but he stopped short of doing so when he got a good look at the ground. Claudian gave a quick disgusted glance towards his shoes. The clayish substance (likely ridden with the plague) had squished its way into the small crevices on his soles.
He glanced over to his friends ahead of him who were not huffing and puffing for air. Xana hadn't said a word to him since Tag mentioned the incident with the pixie as though it had been more than a case of beastly mishandling...or perhaps, exactly that. H'mm. He wondered if Tag wouldn't mind a bit of two-can-play, but he recalled the shame it was that Tag didn't have a girlfriend of his own. What did ever happen to Celestina Warbuck? Come to think of it. The Mayors party was the last he'd seen of her as well.
Claudian caught up in time to catch the last of what Marco was saying. "Desolate?" He said out loud with what was surely the last of his air to offer Marco an adjective. He plopped down his backpack attached to which was he and Xanas tent.
Uh-oh. Had Marco been cleared? He turned to the security wizard who'd just apparated onto the West Field. Wait a minute?! They could apparate??! At that realization Claudesy felt like crying. |

Tasha like always was on her guard for anything that might seem fishy. But it was always so hard to tell a muggle from a witch or wizard!. She would have screamed in fustration but she kept her composure. Walking around everywhere trying not to miss a single thing she couldn't help but smile.! everyone was having such a good time. "I hope this lasts" she thought to herself. She didn't want anything to ruin their fun.

He corrected his company as he noticed a witch (or someone he hoped was a witch) join them on the West Field.
"Hello there!" The very large wizard greeted the new face. She seemed to be alone, though perhaps she was just the first of her party. "Which team are you rooting for?".
Well, if she wasn't a witch, then perhaps she'd only think him mad for uttering nonsensical statements and questions. Mad was preferable to wizard. At least, if one was not a wizard oneself.
Claudian turned to the small witch with a large shock of curly red hair. "Xana? I think I saw an ice cream and gelato stand on our way in. Would you be a dear and get us some while we set up the tent?" He said in such a way as to indicate that the setting up of tents was wizards work. Claudian never pitched a tent before in his life, and he had the perfectly manicured hands to prove it. |

"Oh Im perfectly well, Just doing some Patrolling making sure no Muggles are around." she said all Giggly. "Of course there shouldn't be any magic outside of the tents, that would deffently make my job alot harder" she said politely. "Miss Tasha Starr By the way" she told the man while sticking out her hand for him to shake. "I work for the Muggle Worthy Excuses Committee on Level Three. Division Head actually" she always had to work in the last part. "Im hoping that the rest of my division would show up soon, I'd hate to do this all by my self." Tasha looked down once he asked her what team she was rooting for "erm, Im not really watching the game, I have to patroll the whole time the match is on. But Im sure that I will be able to hear all of the noise and guess who wins, and I dont really mind who wins, its just so much fun isn't it." thinking of her neice who was really into Quidditch.

Claudian never pitched a tent before in his life, and he had the perfectly manicured hands to prove it. Xana, to her credit, kept a perfectly straight face and gave no hint of amusement whatsoever at the idea of her husband setting up a tent. She almost asked him if he had ever put UP a tent, but realized that they were in the company of his 'boys' and she might embarrass him. "Wait, that ice cream stand like, 20 miles from here? Really?" she groaned, obviously not thrilled. Maybe it wasn't really that far, but it felt that far. She really did NOT feel like hiking off in search of frozen treats that would be ridiculous puddles of mush by the time she got back, even WITH a chilling charm cast upon them, as her chilling charm, quite frankly, was rubbish.
She eyed Marco, wondering if he HAD been cleared. And where was Dia?
She sighed. At least Tag seemed... outdoorsy. Maybe there was hope for their tents. She certainly hoped so. She wanted a hot bath.

| Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee So it was a good thing she was wearing boots, because there was mud EVERYwhere. Hunter groaned, wishing for a moment that she'd kept that stop sign so she could just surf her way to her camping ground.
SIGH.
At one point, her boot pulled fully off, and Hunter was sock-deep in sticky mud. This... was not fun. What the heck? She had a PRESS PASS. Didn't that earn her the right to a nice spot?
Up ahead, she spotted people setting up tents. "Um. Is this a joke?"

Up ahead, she spotted people setting up tents. "Um. Is this a joke?" Xana smirked as she saw a dark haired woman go by with a mud-drenched sock and the boot that got left behind. "Yeah, that's what I was wondering." she agreed. "You poor thing, you've lost your b--" she reached for her wand automatically before remembering the security official's warnings about no magic outside tents. Sighing, she slipped and spludged her way back through a few steps of the muck and rescued the boot from a muddy grave. "Isn't this awful? Welcome to Camp Deplorable. My name is Xana, hi." she smiled, holding out the boot in lieu of a handshake. "Here you go."
Her eye caught some Woman talking to Claudian, and her smile momentarily faltered. Was that girl flirting with him?!?!?! She tried to keep her cool, smiling nicely at the muddied girl... but her smile was nervous, and her eyes kept dashing back to Claudian, watching what was going down over THERE.

Hunter didn't give a whit about rules when no one had bothered to Tergeo the field ahead of time. Still... she didn't want to get in trouble, so she simply TOSSED her boot toward a dry hillock and then bent over to whip off her sock too. And then the other boot and sock. And then she rolled up her pants legs. There.
"Deplorable is an awfully apt word for this. Should we issue a complaint?"

"Deplorable is an awfully apt word for this. Should we issue a complaint?" "Absolutely." she muttered, looking at the ruin they called a campground. Really, it wouldn't be too bad WITH magic, but without? REALLY? "This is ridiculous. I mean... it's just not what we expected; we allegedly were set for the best seats and best grounds here!" she said softly. Quote:

Can't we get it later once we've established camp, and had a chance to relax and eradicate some of these bugs?" The marshy ground was attracting a fair number of tiny flying insects which hovered about, pestering, occasionally biting. She slapped one away, annoyed. She could do the same to Marco for arranging such shabby tickets. Quote:

She knew she should be nicer, but this was really lousy and the ministry official was keeping them from sneaking in some wandwork to get things in order. Annoying, really. Surely her poor behavior had nothing to do with the fact that she was now CERTAIN the girl had been flirting with Claudian. "Is your entire task patrolling? I mean, aren't you capable of any... y'know... groundskeeping? Janitorial? Because this... it's not so good, you know?" She glanced at the dark-haired girl with muddy boots. "We'd like to lodge a complaint, and maybe get some help getting this place... up to code?" That sounded official anyway.

Tasha Shook her hand, alittle ashamed that everyone seemed to be here with someone and she was here alone working not even getting the chance to watch the match. "Thank you, you don't have to feel bad for me this was my choice after all, but thank you non the less" she complimented him. "You two are a lovely couple" she said trying to change the subject.

Tasha was shocked by this womans rude attitude towards her. "Yes my job is to patroll and make sure theres no muggles" she informed the woman. "I am not here to clean up some mud that you can't handle, now please you can always go inside your lovely tent there and then, there would be no mud. Please don't be rude with me for i am only doing my job so you can enjoy the match" Tasha was really upset and before she could let anyone see her cry she stomped off in a different direction making sure to splash alot of mud everwhere.

"Absolutely." she muttered, looking at the ruin they called a campground. Really, it wouldn't be too bad WITH magic, but without? REALLY? "This is ridiculous. I mean... it's just not what we expected; we allegedly were set for the best seats and best grounds here!" she said softly. "No." she said shortly. "Honey, it's so far, and the ice cream will melt.

He whispered through a mouth that didn't quite open all the way.
He smacked a large hand across his face and let it slide downwards as he came to realization that the witch posted at their site was probably not coming back for tea and chit-chat. Which to Claudian, was the ultimate seal of friendship, realized or potential, terminated.
Apparently, not everyone disagreed with Xana's assessment of the place. They had been joined by at least one other who shared the sentiment. She was very small and slowly being eaten by the surrounding mud. Somewhere in the roll of the backpack, he knew he had some fold-out seats.
"Would you ladies care for..." He huffed unraveling the coils of stuff that they'd packed for the occasion until he came about what looked like a swatch of fabric and a bend of wood beam. "...A seat?". He smiled, trying to make that look as effortless as he could, but he was already sweating a little as he offered Xana and her new friend a place to sit while he and the other MEN tended to the tent pitching.

Rude? Well, yeah, she had been. But she hadn't meant to. Now she felt terrible. She hadn't stopped to consider that maybe the girl would've like to go to the match, not patrol outside it in the same mud that they were stuck in now. Quote:

Xana cringed. She had already felt terrible, and now she realized that her attitude had upset Claudian, too. Just great. "Sorry... I just-- sorry." she said softly, regret and embarrassment clear on her face. Quote:

She shook her head. "No thank you. I think... maybe I'm going to go after Miss Starr. I was a bit short with her; I'd like to apologize. Would you like to come with me, miss... I just realized, I don't know your name. But we can stop by that ice cream stand and bring some back." she glanced at Claudian to let him know the ice cream was a peace offering to him. "Care to come with me? I'm buying." she smiled at the woman, hoping that she didn't think she was a rude person. She wasn't-- she was just really, really exhausted and disappointed with the environment.

See? She could be civilized when she wanted to be. "Hunter Bones," she offered Xana her hand, and then her husband. Husband? They were babies! No marrying babies!

"No magic at the QWC or apparating only applies to non-security people. Means to say, that people that aren't security wizards like you cannot use magic apparently." He put on his confident smile as his eye was caught by a gleaming badge and he listened to the man's words with interest. "Are you lying? Christopher you are talking about is one of my employee, and he said to met that he didn't clear you off. And perhaps, you stole a security badge technically!" enunciated Chris firmly. How he really hates liars. "And present me a valid ID of yours or you might face the consequences!" warned Chris to the man, he wasn't shouting nor he wasn't talking in soft voice. The man should be really alarmed of what he's said.

He pulled out three bits of parchment. "My player ID," he said, handing Chris the first one. "My shopkeeper pass," he said, firimly, passing over the second one. "And here is my birth certificate. And also my broomstick testing licence. Similar to a muggle drivers licence." He passed the final bit over. "Anything wrong with them?"

Tasha was still somewhat upset so she slowed her walking down and kept her eyes pealed for muggles. "I was only doing my job, I don't know what has gotten her soo upset" Tasha thought to herself.
