"Step right up ladies and gents!" Benny called out "Make your bets here!" His eyes scanned the building up crowd "All bets taken. Australia to win, England to win, specific bets can be made too!" He looked around and then took a swig of his drink with a smile.

Carrying a box of random articles of merchandise in a box, Hayken walked to the vendor area. He knew that the shop owners from Diagon Alley were going to be there, but he was full of awesome so there was no way that they would be competition.
Setting the box of random articles on the floor, he pulled out a couple of scarves in the team colors. "Come and get your merchandise." He shouted out, hoping to attract a few customers. He was not going home with any of this merchandise....he had no wear to put it.

Lyric wandered around the vendors aimlessly. She really didn't think she would buy anything to support either team. And that was mostly because she wasn't rooting for either.

...Okay maybe she was but she wasn't actually going to say which. Because if they just so happened to lose then THAT would be embarrassing and upsetting.

Pulling out a small notebook and a quill out of her pocket she began to jot down some notes of what she saw just in case. All the noise around her was quickly becoming annoying. How could anyone think of what to buy with people like yelling at them? Geesh.

Walking over to...another yelling guy Lyric shook her head. Of course people just had to make bets during the Cup. Some people lost a fortune. Others gained. "How many people do you think have placed bets so far?" She asked in a nonchalant manner.

It's hidden in my purse." She grinned, placing her personal scooper down on a specially made holder.

Taking a short break from her booth, Brenna had decided to wander around the other vendors' booths. Just to see how they all were doing, compared to her. See if things were as semi-slow for any of the others. Which was actually why she'd felt she could take the break, since with very little to do, she knew Melanie would be fine for a few minutes. Musing over if she wanted to check out the Florean's booth (even though, in her white dress, she knew she'd have to be careful not to spill any ice cream), she walked past a man with a box. As he started shouting, her blue eyes traveled over to actually look at him, and then immediately narrowed. How dare he try and sell scarves? I wonder how many other vendors he's going to try and undercut, she found herself thinking. "So I don't think I've seen you around before," she said speculatively, wondering if her previous tenure with Gremlok had made her a bit paranoid. Even though she'd had her own shop for a while now. She was going to keep an eye on him.Depending on how he responded to her now.

Hayken took a shifty look around him, as she waved the scarves around. He was actually looking at the custom that all the other vendors were getting, then he'd be able to know the competition. "Come on get your scarves. Team colours. Only 4 galleons a piece." He hollered again. That was sure to get some custom right.
He turned to face someone when he heard a voice, and he noticed that it was one of the vendors, although she had completely no idea what shop she belonged to. "Nope you won't have. I'm Free lance." He nodded at her, with a little smirk. He was rather free lance, hence why he was selling an odd range of merchandise, ranging from scarves to odd little button things.

Aww, no players..yet, anyway. They should all come over here, after all, the players did get to eat free! Hadley really wanted to meet them too! And being a huge fan of Colin MacKenzie had nothing to do with it! Nope.

She watched Avery check the freezers, she had to learn somehow, so the best way to learn would be to watch an expert! Avery was an expert ice cream..person. 'Umm, how about I just hand you your purse?' She did not want to go through other peoples things, especially another womans purse. She picked up Avery's purse and handed it to her. 'I didn't want to rummage.'

Charlie smiled and motioned to the merchandise cart behind them. He looked at all of the scarves. They were rather nice and he kind of needed a new one. "Anything catch your eye?" He asked Briony.

Bets placed so far? Umm... "A.. Haha, Ma'am, how would you like to be the first one?" Benny smiled at her charmingly. Noticing the notebook, he smiled at it "Taking notes, ma'am?" he asked, trying to make conversation "I do hope you're not checking up on me. Security are already keeping an eye on me because I'm from Australia." he winked charmingly at her and then sat back to take in the woman's appearance fully.

"Yes they are," she nodded, following behind him. "See any that you like?" she asked him, looking around the cart. She saw a blue on that she liked. Her jacket was blue and this one matched the coat pretty good. But the purple one was also nice.

Charlie eyed the scarves again. He picked up a green one and then set it back down. "A couple," he said as his eyes went to an Australia one. He was going to support that team anyways.

"I've changed my mind. I'll just wait to buy one somewhere else. I don't usually wear them until winter anyway," she told him, taking a step back. "You can choose. I'll wait here," she said to him. It was too much of a disasterous mess with people every ten feet. Briony didn't do good in crowds or masses of people.

Charlie nodded at Briony and picked up both of the scarves, trying to decide which one to get. He couldn't make up his mind. He just decided to get both. "Excuse me," he said to the person running the stand. "I would like to buy these."

Briony waited patiently as Charlie bought the two scarves. This would be so much easier if her niece were here. She looked at him to see if he was ready to go after a minute.

She shrugged. "I don't care. Thalia has most likely met some kids and hanging out with them. What would you rather do?" she asked him. Briony wasn't worried in the least about her niece. The girl had an evil mind. So she could get her way out of problems. Not all the time evil though.
