DH was startled by the guy, but he smiled and understood what he needed.
He puts his hand unto his back pocket and held an identification tag.
"Sorry 'bout that. So how was the security going on?" he asked as his ID is being checked.
Chris looked at the ID and then said "Right sir you can move forward, and to answer your question security is going good so far. Only have one person here" he said pointing to Mr. Denver off to the side who was still around it appeared. "I turn back anyone who does not show identification just the standard policy sir."

"MORE?" Brian laughed as shaking his head, "This's unfair. It's me only who offered you interest in first hand, but now you're demanding

Seeing her relaxed after Sarah called her by full name, Brian sighed relievedly. "Last night?" his brows arched up in amusement, when he recollected things that had happened on previous night. "Oh..now I got." he smiled as looking down at her, enjoying her a slight tint
of pinkness on her cheek. God..she looked more beautiful when blushing. He coughed and getting back to her next question reluctantly, "Haha..nice question. Ofcourse Yes, I did by my superior" he winked and nudged on her shoulder.
Noticing two more people appeared into the area, Brian gave Becca another smile and swtiched back to work mode. "Excuse me, friends. If you provide your ID, it will be helpful for us both" he asked quietly.
Watching Brian talking to his division head, Olivia, Becca smiled and looked at him. She was willing to help in any wau she could and any way he'd let her help "I'll keep an eye out too" she added, wanting to help and not feel useless.
"More." she nodded, not taking no as an answer "I'm sure you'll come up with something" she grinned, looked up into his twinkling eyes and enjoying his shoulder squeezing. When he asked again about when she'd worn his shirt and then smiled at her, she giggled "Yeah, anyway.. moving swiftly on" she looked up at him and then shook her head.
"But you've been away from her since, how do we know you haven't been locked up somewhere and someone's gone and stolen your face through ployjuice potion?" she grinned "ID please" she smiled sweetly, teasing him. Grinning when he smiled at her, she shook her head amusedly.

Nate smiled warmly and shook Madison's hand when Warren gave her name. He raised his eyebrows and looked at Warren. “Oh you're working this thing?” He had actually been surprised when Warren gave him a ticket to the QWC that he wouldn't be on duty. When Nathan had been MLES, they had to work all the important events – he assumed that they were just better staffed now than they were then. But, it seemed things hadn't changed. He just hoped Tristan would show up to keep him company during the match.. but his friend wasn't much of a quidditch fan. “Well at least he'll have something to keep him out of trouble.” He teased Madison with a wink.
He felt his jaw slacken and his mouth actually fell open when Warren said he was engaged! Wha? no.. Wait a second.. What!? The last time he had spoken to either Warren OR Alexa, they were both dreadfully miserable unhappy. He closed his mouth with a snap and his lips curled up into a smile. “Mate, that's just..” No words. “that's the best news I've heard in a long time. Congratulations." He reached out his hand to shake Warren's and pulled him into a brotherly embrace. “How? When?” He asked still shocked at the news as he looked at his old friend. “Is Alexa coming today?” Would she be on duty too? Working for the Law department certainly had it's drawbacks.
Warren watched as Nathan shook Madison's hand and seeing the look he gave him shrugged, "Yeah. Like I said...blame her." Smirking he looked around hoping to find Alexa but turned back again at Nathan's comment. "Hey now...I don't get into trouble! Trouble seems to find me."
He watched with amusement as his best friend seemed shocked about what he had just said. Yes they were engaged..and right now..at this moment he was the happiest man in the world. He grinned as he watched Nathan regain himself and took his hand returning his hug. "Thanks. Well...a few days ago. We...came to an understanding after I left you that I day I went to see you on my lunch break." Looking over his shoulder he shrugged, "I'm not sure. I think so...."

DH received his ID back and smiled at the man from the Magical Security. He was very grateful that the security in here is pretty tight.
"Very well. Thank you, young man." he said and proceeded, then he heard a familiar voice.

"Have you passed the security check?" he started teasing her, eyeing her bag interestedly, wishing to know what was inside. A funny and very brotherish wish. Haha.
He gently squeezed her shoulder and spoke up softly, "Yes. But you're allowed to name her as you like something interesting, Right?" he knew Sarah was creative and would come up with something a novel name specially for her sis-in-law.

Not saying anything because she knew it wouldn't be nice, she sighed and then smiled as Sarah called her Becca again, she looked at Brian, relaxing.
When he bent down, she looked at him with a grin and then giggled "Umm..." she grinned, eyeing his shirt "Umm.. Last night" she admitted, eyeing his shirt with a blush and then watching him talking to Sarah. When he teased Sarah, Becca looked up at him "More importantly, did you pass the security check?" she grinned and eyed him interestedly.
Oh? It was Brian's lil special nickname? How was she supposed to know THAT? Sarah just called Becca the first thing that popped up in her mind and well... wasn't Becca. Guess she'd have to be more careful with what she called Becca then. She seemed protective of it and of Brian. Guess Sarah couldn't really blame her, but that's why she had been unsure of Brian being in a relationship. She'd have to get over it.
No matter. Sarah didn't want to think about that anymore. As long as she got the chance to hang out with her big brother and his pregnant wifey, she would be satisfied enough. Though maybe it'd be a good idea to find some new friends? Then she wouldn't always be tagging along with Brian and Becca and being a nuisance. There was Claudian, but he seemed to be busy with his wife and old buddy pals, himself.
Sarah turned back towards her brother when he spoke up once more. And ohh! A hug. She smiled gently and patted her brother's back gently and then let go as he reached for her bag. She smirked and rolled her eyes. "Yes, I did. No worries."
A nickname for her sister-in-law... Hmm... Sarah glanced over at Becca with a mischievous glint in her eyes as she thought. "Mhm.. I'll have to think of a good one then."
Noticing two more people appeared into the area, Brian gave Becca another smile and swtiched back to work mode. "Excuse me, friends. If you provide your ID, it will be helpful for us both" he asked quietly.
Chris ambled with his quick paces to the Quidditch World Cup. He realized that he was late; he felt not good about it. He saw his boss, Brian giving security check-ins to some people. He walked toward him and smiled, looking apologetic. "Sorry. I'm late." said Chris with a little embarrassment in his velvet voice. He wasn't usually like that, he was late 'cause he did something he really needed to do. He glanced around to see of what his co-workers was doing.

Head position and now he was promoted to a Div. Head position. He hadn't seen her since her departure from their department. "Hey Becca! It's been a while, How have you been?" said Chris conversationally to his friend who happens to be his boss' wife.

A hand dug up his sketchbook and muggle pen, and he wasn't looking up until he felt something move towards him. Or maybe they moved towards Tristan. Anywho, he looked up and nodded at the man who seemed all security-ish. "Oh, yes ofcourse." Tristan reached inside his jacket to draw out his press ID badge.
While waiting for the man to...let him pass through whatever invisible barrier there was, he looked around and spotted no one other than Nathan. He grinned, and he'd go talk to him but he seemed busy with conversating with others. The grin vanished quickly to a softer smile as he turned to the security again, not wanting him to think Tristan was...strange.

Brian smiled and grateful to her offer. She was a hard-worker and he knew that this pregnancy thing didnt allow her to do much. Mostly him. "Sure, I'll ask your help when I need, love" he smiled down at her warmly. Right now, take care of yourself and baby, that's the only help I needed from you, Becs.
He conveyed his thoughts to her by his gaze before coming into the jovial subject. "I know you do." he grinned and shaking his head at her playfull hints. She was getting better and better at this, teasing thing. Oooh!
Laughing at her logic, Brian pulled out his wallet and handed over it to her which contained his ID card and other valuables, "Here's my ID Ma'am. I'm Brian Lee, the department Head of Security and Maintenance and husband of Mrs. Becca Lee, the department Head of Mysteries..." he played along with her, "If you want more proof, I can provide.." Brian's smile never left away from his face when he was talking to her.

Noticing the glint, mischievous glint in her eyes, Brian chuckled mildly. Typical Lee family property. "Mhmm..I cant wait to hear that. Dont make it morethan four letters though.." he added with a playfull grin.

Numble and Chris both are already here.." he informed him to share the responsibility with everyone, including him. Brian was glad that everyone was co-operating with them, to keep the security stuffs roll on, except one or two stubborn people. "It's perfect. You can go to watch the game, have fun! And sorry for the lil inconvenience" he said with a small smile as handed over the ID badge back to him.

Reason: adding ..another post..:P
Brian took the ID proof from her hand and checking out with a smile. "Nice to meet you too Ms. Goldbloom." The last name was a catching one. "Thanks for co-operating with us. You're now allowed to watch the game" he nodded his head, grinned as handed over the ID back to her.
Angelica dropped her ministry ID back into her handbag saying "No problem! I understand fully why everyone needs to be checked." When Mr Lee said that she was cleared to watch the game she sighed and smiled at the same time "Thanks, but i'm not going to be attending the QWC other then as a ministry official. My blessed state will make will complicate things so i'm going to watch it all from my living room." Angelica new that the atmosphere wouldn't be the same as at the stadium but she wasn't going to risk anything in a place where accidents easily could happen.
Saying nothing as Nathan spoke, Becca watched him and wondered what was going on. Watching him reach out to shake Brian's hand, she looked down with a smile "Thanks," she replied for both of them. "Too long" she grinned, knowing Brian felt the same way too.

"Thanks, mate!" he shook his hand back and nodding his head in agreement with Becca about his next question. They had reached only
half way, and need to go a long to hold their bundle of joy in hands.
“Ah.. it'll be here before you know it.” He replied to Becky. It was the last few days of a pregnancy which lingered Nathan recalled from Egypt's pregnancies. The time when the poor woman could barely move and blamed her husband for the bad weather and then cried if he put mayo in her sandwich by mistake. Good times...er, not.
Looking back at Brian, it was glaring obvious that he was uncomfortable following Nathan's little white lie. He had to force himself not to pull a face. Way to spoil a perfectly happy atmosphere, Nate, you fool! He had a knack of doing that these days. Guh. He should have told the truth. How hard could it be just to say 'Oh yeah.. by the way, Egypt had a miscarriage and left me and took all my kids.' Uh huh.. that would go down a treat wouldn't it? Sigh. It wasn't Brian's fault – he wasn't to know. It was just one of those polite questions you just asked wasn't it? “Yeah.. I would really like that Brian, mate.” he replied with a genuine smile. He owed Brian a drink and he certainly appreciated the offer. “After the QWC when you're not so busy. I can see the Ministry have security working as hard as ever. Hows it all going anyway – the QWC, I mean? No signs of trouble?” Aside from forgotten IDs.

He glanced around the area again wondering where the hell he was supposed to find his portkey. It was difficult to see anything for all the people. He could hear Brian conversing with someone and he turned back when he heard a very familiar voice indeed. Tristan. He grinned feeling a lot happier that he would have some company during the match – company that was on the same childish wavelength as himself.
“Yo bro. Wassup!” He donned an accent and stuck his hand in air the for Tristan to high five. Tristan looked like he was here ready to work. No way.. nuh-uh. Cos Nathan had brought a bottle of something fiery, matches and marshmallows...
Melanie turned on the spot a few times as she gracefully arrived at the place of which her portkey should be nearby. The portkey which should get her to the Quidditch World Cup. Which she was so not interested in by the way. But somehow it was necessary that they'd have a booth of some sorts there so they could sell their products. Now, why did she have to go there as well? Somebody had to look after the shop as well, after all. Meh. She so didn't want to be here.
With a sigh she brushed off the rather simple dark-grey-ish dress she was wearing with her right hand, while her other hand was holding on tightly to her newest acquisition. The cute baby Chihuahua Misty. It had refused to stay at home when Melanie had gone off to work, so she had been sort of obliged to take it along. Well, there had been no opposition to it from her side to begin with.
So, there she was with her little Chihuahua looking a bit lost, as she had no idea how to proceed from now on. Would there be some sort of security check? Fumbling around with a strand of blonde hair Melanie Charington had to wait for somebody to tell her what to do. Which was something she disapproved of. Very much disapproved of...
Brian grinned and scanning her ID and bag, "Mmm..so nothing interesting in it..." he joked as handed her things back. "So according to security rules, you're harmless and allowed to do your work and watch the game if possible.." he chuckled but really feeling bad for some department people including himself, who cannot watch the game due to work.
Watching her reactions, Brian grinned. "They will show up soon, dont worry. If not I'm here to help you as much as I can." he gave her assurance and not wanting to make her feel alone. "Oh..okay. I'll tune my eyes for the purple sparks then" Purple for Maintenance and Gold for Security, nice combination.
Olivia laughed as she took back her things. "No, nothing interesting I'm afraid," bag over arm, ID into pocket, "just the usual. But whose to say I'm harmless...?" she added with a wink and another chuckle. She liked the fact that her boss was someone you could have a joke with.It made working so much more enjoyable, even if it was going to be really hard.
"I'm sure they will, I did remind them they had to come through here first, and thank you for the offer," she nodded and smiled, suddenly getting back to business.Hopefully they were paying attention when she told them. "Yes, and I'll keep my eye out for any gold ones nearby. If I can lend a hand with anything security let me know." She wasn't exactly the most skilled in that sort of thing, but when you are short-staffed you take any help you can get.

Giving a slight squeeze on Becca's shoulder again, Brian smiled at Smith. "Hi Smith!" he was friendly, right?! "Yeah, we dont want to take risk this time.." he said, not going to sit untill the event finished with fireworks. Busy time..
"I'm not worried. I was just curious about your bag.." Brian grinned at his lil sister as she rolled her eyes playfully. Glad that she had taken that name issue very lightly. Being a brother and husband at a time seems fun and bit difficult though. Haha..
Noticing the glint, mischievous glint in her eyes, Brian chuckled mildly. Typical Lee family property. "Mhmm..I cant wait to hear that. Dont make it morethan four letters though.." he added with a playfull grin.

Boy she reeled that sentence off without taking breath.Olivia shuffled sideways slightly to get a better look at Becca as she was talking to her, then stood smiling away as she fiddled with the strap on her bag.
Knowing Sarah was correcting herself now, Becca smiled and then giggled as she looked at her with a mischievous glint in her eyes. She'd seen that glint before, it was always present in Brian's eyes when he was around her.
"Okay Bri" That'll be never, then. Not saying anything because she knew he was doing what was best for her, no matter how much she hated sitting there helplessly. Understanding what he was saying through his gaze, she smiled and then shifted again, looking down at the juice carton. When he grinned and shook his head, she grinned and said nothing. Well, what could she say?
"Hey Chris" Beca smiled and shifted on the chair slightly "I hear you made division head" she grinned, leaning her head back to look up at Brian and then looked back at him "Congratulations" she nodded before smiling "I've been fine.. excited about this" she smiled, nodding to her stomach which obviously showed she was pregnant. "How about you?" she asked.
When Brian handed over his wallet, she took it and looked through it before holding up the ID card "This..isn't enough for me, sir" she grinned, eyeing him "And neither is that information. Anyone would know that" she grinned "More proof please" she giggled, eyeing him.
Hearing Brian call DH 'Smith', Becca grinned "Actually, he prefers DH, but I call him Mr. Smith because I haven't been asked to call him by any other name" Becca smiled, looking at DH as she spoke, but informing Brian of this information. When Brian spoke to Sarah again, Becca looked up at him and then looked back to Sarah "Yeah, I'm curious too" she grinned.
"I hope it's soon." Becca nodded to Nathan, knowing that both her and Brian wanted to see their baby more than anything else. Soon wasn't soon enough. "Hey Olivia," Becca smiled, looking at the division head "It's okay" she smiled and then nodded "No problem" she then sighed softly as Olivia mentioned her basically having to stay where she was. "Yeah, nothing too strenuous" she smiled and then looked down at her stomach "Oh, it's going well, thanks." Becca smiled, watching her shuffle sideways.

Brian nodded his head as acknowledging her nice words about Chris. "No problem." he waves his hands in air dismissively, " And..Yes. He's new but learning thing very quickly. I've got a bunch of talented employees lately, I must say." he said, adjusting his muggle type red and white cap to avoid the mild sunbeams.
Brian noticed a young woman approached Madison and talking some business. Waiting patiently untill she finish up with her, Brian opened his mouth, "Yes, But before that, the Security head liked to see your identity first" he asked jovially as smiling at both her and Madison. Duty..duty!
Madison gasped as she completely forgot about Angelica having to show her identity. She knew her employees but Brian and the other security guards didn't. They had to check for everyone, it was the rule.

Checking that people had ID and presented them to the security employees was probably going to take up most of the day.
Angelica turned to the older man who was of course the Security head Mr Lee. Smiling brightly at him she fished out her ministry ID from her handbag and showed it to him "Here you are. Nice to finally meet you Mr Lee! I'm Angelica Goldbloom employee of level 6." Duty... Duties it was all that people did nowadays their duty. She her self had just come from renewing several apparition licenses.
"Brian, I'm so glad that you remembered and that you are security. I would have completely forgot, but then again I see Angelica almost every day of the week." She turned towards Angelica and smiled.
"How are things in the division now?" She knew that Angelica was about the only person that helped her, while the others would chime in every once in a while. "Hopefully, I will be able to send you an excellent employee to help you there and until then, I will be there to help you as well."
Chris was waving through another loyal fan to the QWC when the trend continued and another person arrived. "Hello do you have ID on you" he asked politely and then he saw the dog she was holding. "You have a nice dog there" he said.
With a small pop, Blackstone apparated. Looking around, he tried to find the portkey. Whatever a 'Walkie Talkie' was. And he was in Muggle Artifacts, too. He knew what it was supposed to be, but picking it out was a different story. His worries were quickly dispelled, however, when he found a strange looking device, almost like a wireless or a phoam... tone? Telephoam? "I should know this stuff" he muttered

Waiting for another ID chris saw another wizard appear out of nowhere. "Sir an ID is needed to get past here before you can use the portkeys. Can you show it to me please." Chris was really wishing he had more than 2 hands so he could double his workload a little more.

At the sound of a voice close to her Melanie whirled around to face the man who had just approached her. Well, at least there were people who would tell her immediately how to actually get to the Quidditch World Cup. Even though she didn't even want to go there. Whatever. "Good day. Why, certainly." She replied with a smile, before she shifted Misty slightly in her arm to be able to reach into her bag for her ID. "There you go. I'm Melanie, by the way. Melanie Charington. Madam Malkin's Shopkeeper Assistant." Okay, it was sort of useless to be introducing herself when holding out her ID-card at the same moment, but manners were manners.
Snuggling the little doggie closer to her the 25 year old literally beamed at the man when he complemented the Chihuahua. "Yes, isn't he just goooorgeous?" Then obviously muttering into the dog's direction she added, "Yes, you are a cutie. Aren't you? Yesss, you are."Squeaaal!

"Thank you very much Melanie and and a pleasure to meet you" Chris said. He looked over her ID and then said "Go on ahead and enjoy the festivities and keep your dog in sight" he said. He then turned to wait for the other arrival to identify themselves.
Max nodded as chris let him pass. "I'll be sure to keep an Eye out, for anything unordinary, and for Olivia Thank You." Nodding again, and going to find Olivia.
Waiting for another ID chris saw another wizard appear out of nowhere. "Sir an ID is needed to get past here before you can use the portkeys. Can you show it to me please." Chris was really wishing he had more than 2 hands so he could double his workload a little more.
"Sure" Blackstone said, fumbling for his ID. He eyed the chihuahua, like a whining baby without the cuteness or humanity. He produced his ministry ID from his pocket "Will this do?"

"Indeed that ID will do just fine." Chris said. He looked at it and then said. "Right go ahead and as ive said to others before you watch out for any thing out of the ordinary."
Brian was glad that everyone was co-operating with them, to keep the security stuffs roll on, except one or two stubborn people. "It's perfect. You can go to watch the game, have fun! And sorry for the lil inconvenience" he said with a small smile as handed over the ID badge back to him.
Tristan looked around him and was utterly surprised to see so many people here. How the hell did security keep an eye on everything? But the security man's voice made him look back and smiled as he took back his ID. Watch the game? Hah! Quidditch was not something he enjoyed, which was why he brought stuff to do. "Ah, yeah thanks!" he nodded and smirked. "It's no problem at all, I'm glad you guys keep us all safe here." Yeah, because who knew how many crazy hooligans there were here right now, finding ways of blowing up things...like portable toilets.

“Yo bro. Wassup!” He donned an accent and stuck his hand in air the for Tristan to high five. Tristan looked like he was here ready to work. No way.. nuh-uh. Cos Nathan had brought a bottle of something fiery, matches and marshmallows...
His thoughts were however cut off by a voice, quite unlike one you would normally hear and Tristan grinned again. With a nod to the security man, he started to make his way over. Seeing his friend raise his hand made Tristan jog up to him and raise his own hand, ready to... Smack!"Oh thank Merlin you are here mate." He said in a low voice, putting his arm around Nathan. "How are you? Ready to scream yourself hoarse?" he smirked, then putting away his skethbook and pen.
"Thank you very much Melanie and and a pleasure to meet you" Chris said. He looked over her ID and then said "Go on ahead and enjoy the festivities and keep your dog in sight" he said. He then turned to wait for the other arrival to identify themselves.
With another smile and a nod of comprehension for the nice man Melanie took her ID back from him to place back into her bag. In the process of doing this she somehow must have squeezed her Chihuahua a little, as it gave a little Squeak! in protest. "Oh, I'm sorrysorrysorrysorry..." She quickly snuggled the doggie close to her chest as she watched the man walk away again. "Thank you!" She called after him, before glancing around once again. Now, how was she to find this Wocky Tocky thing or whatever it was called?

Melanie's blue eyes fell on another man who was apparently eyeing her - or her doggie but it was definitely her - and gave him a graceful smile. With a few quick strides she was over to where he was waiting for his ID to be checked. "Hello. I was wondering, if you could perhaps tell me where I can find the Wocky Tocky portkey?" Her eyes flickered back and forth hopefully between the two men, and with an expectant expression on her face Melanie made an excellent damsel in distress. Help.
