Seeing that his ID is in the open already he smiled at him and said, "Sir, can I have a look at your ID?" he said unto him politely. |
Charlie apparated to the portkey he was supposed to be using, a pepper shaker. He looked around and waited. He got his ID out knowing that he would need it to get onto the camp grounds. |

He was glad that his division head was chipped in, quickly soon after taking the helm. It was hard for him to cope-up with things in short time span, but still Chris was brilliant and experienced too. Having full faith on him, Brian returned his smile, "Thanks. See you soon, Chris" he waved back at him with approving smile. Chuckling mildly, Brian looked down at her. "How about we go and set up a tent for us? We can meet Sarah too.." he suggested as he couldnt able to see her sitting for a long time in one place. She should rest her back. "What do you say love?" he looked into her eyes for acceptance. Laura waited for the portkey to appear at her house and it did just on time.the portkey was a nice fashion magazine.Laura smiled about time she said to no one in particular.she had checked her apartment throughly and locked her doors and then touched the magazine and at that instant she felt an unpleasant tug in her back.later after sometime she fell flat on the ground ouch she exclaimed.never was Portkey her favorite way of transport.she got up and dusted her clothes and robes.she looked around and it was pretty crowded.she waited for the security check in.she saw her magazine portkey vanish. |

Calla arrived by way of a disco ball portkey. She hated traveling by portkey (just as much as apparition), but had little choice. She would have perfered one of those new portable floo things people are talking about, but didn't have the slightest knowledge as where to get one. Broom was an option, but Calla thought it too dangerous. She approached the check in booth after smoothing out her muggle clothes. Dressing and acting as a muggle came naturally, as her father had been muggle born. She was a good mix of muggle and witch. She waited in line. There were alot of people here already! I'm glad I came early. Seeing that everyone was being asked for their ID she opened her bag on her wrist and dug around for it. There was plenty in this bag, including the kitchen sink literally. Ah there it is. She pulled out the ID, held it in her hand and waited. |

Portkey was not Eteria's preferred choice of transportation but since this was the Quidditch World Cup, she had no choice in the matter. While it would be nice to just apparate to the site, it wouldn't exactly be kosher with the muggles to see people pop up out of nowhere right before their eyes. She placed the boomerang portkey into her bag and checked her appearance to see if she looked decent enough to greet the Foreign Ministers coming in. She was quite nervous about doing this but she had volunteered for it. Straightening out her muggle attire, she walked over to the lovely line for the check in station and got her id out for them so the process could be quicker. Deep breaths Ri. You've got this. It's just foreign ministers. This is not a big deal. |

Honestly, to Devon, portkey's were dangerous little things. Anyone could step on it, or touch it in curiosity and be sucked up into a random place. But, he much perfered this more than apperating. Much to scary and squeezing feeling. So, with his little sister Jenn following behind him, they ended up finding the portkey, which, much to Jenn's delight was a rubber duck, and they touched it and ended up...well. Here. Jenn grumbled angrily as she splatted down to the earth, Devon landing right next to her in a heap. "Honestly! Can't they make this a little bit more...I don't know...softer?"she asked, pointing to the ground as Devon shrugged and stood up, helping Jenn up as well. "I don't make the landing's. You should be grateful I got such good tickets! So there." Taking Jenn's hand and picking up all of there stuff, suitcases, bags, tent, and other stuff, he started walking off towards the security. Pulling out his ID he smiled warmly and pointed to Jenn. "She's my little sister, so she's with me."he informed, looking over at Jenn then back at the security. |
Ughh. Why was Wizard Transportation so... ughh? Floo Powder (which was out of the question for this event), Apparation (which Rian throuroughly detested), and Portkeys were the main forms of transportation. So, having to choose from three hideous options, Rian had chosen to hold onto a random, bewitched object and trust it to take her to the right place. And it was so uncomfortable! Sighing, Rian stood up from where she had not-very-gracefully landed. She picked up the Yo-Yo Porkey, gave it a dirty look, and took off her small backpack so she could throw the object into it. "Hmm...ID..." she mumbled, reaching a hand back into her backpack to search for the ID. Finding it, she pulled it out, smiling to herself. She stepped casually into the line, actually feeling a hint of excitement about the coming Quidditch game. "Here we are, Keltan." The words from his mother had Kel groaning. She and his father were the only people he knew that called him Keltan, and it really got on his nerves. After yanking his hand out of his mother's grasp (where it'd been for Side-Along Apparation), Kel wandered back a ways from her and his father. The two were so annoying, all of the time. It always seemed to get worse when they were in a public place, too. It was like the more rude and obnoxious and bratty the two were, the more attention they'd get - which seemed like a good thing to their eyes. He stayed a few feet behind the two as they talked, criticizing everyone that walked in front of them. He searched longingly for a student from Hogwarts - preferrably a friend. But none came. Hopefully, his tent would be near a friend's. He didn't want to deal with his parents throughout the whole vacation. When it was their turn in line, though, Kel stepped up beside his father, since he was the one with the IDs, and Kel did want to see the game. |

Pandora apparated to the portkey point in a field just outside Halifax and looked around to see where the thing might be. There, on a scarecrow was a top hat. She smiled wryly at someone's sense of humour and retrieved it. She checked her watch, feeling odd in muggle clothing of jeans and a t-shirt with a light jacket, her rucksack on her back and her hair pulled back into a neat plait. Even dressed like that she was still statuesque. She couldn't see anyone approaching and the hat began to glow with a blue light. There was a familiar hooking sensation behind her navel and her feet parted company with the ground. Her feet made contact with the ground again shortly afterwards. She swept a stray lock of hair out of her face and looked around the beauty of the North York Moors. She smiled, taking the necessary paperwork out of her pocket. This really was her county. She looked around for a Ministry colleague to check her paperwork. |

Brian looked up at her. "Lili has gone into labour. We need to go there, Becs. Iain and Lili needs our help.." he said and stood up, guided her to get up from the chair, Brian took her hand in his, "Hold me tight, love" with that instruction and after made sure of it, Brian apparated with her to the East field, hoping Chris would handle things alone for a while. |

Xavier trudded slowly, and carefully, to a deserted street corner and apparated. He appeared on a hill decorated with lush, cherry blossom trees & jacketed by vibrant green gas. The sun was shining exceptionally bright today. It may have been his excitement for the imminent events or the weather itself but he felt, today will be a good day. He scanned the vacant area for the portkey. Just as quickly as he arrived he found it. Perched on top of the hill under the tallest cherry blossom tree lay a bagpipe with a visible gaping hole in it. It appeared as though someone had been playing and left for a break, but ofcourse Xavier knew better. He advanced on the bagpipe, and waited patiently for more witches and wizards, seeing as he was the first to arrive. |

POP! A slightly red-faced Jake Rider stepped out of thin air gracefully and headed over to one of the security personnel, muttering under his breath angrily about "insufferable, intolerable, unbelievable seventeen year old moody teenagers". Unconsciously, he ran his fingers through his head in annoyance but if one looked closely, they would be able to see a TEENY TINY smile dancing on the corners of his lips. True, him and Rachel don't always get along - especially when she chooses to be THIS unreasonable - but he couldn't help but see her side of the argument since not too long ago he would have done the exact same thing. Bleh. |

"Oh, yes, ofcourse." he said, pating down his jacket to see where he had put it. Then, remembering, he took out the card that was inside his pocket. "Here you go." "Are you camping with anyone? Cos you're welcome to join us you know, mate?" He offered. He chuckled lightly. "Was a good night, yeah. Though I'd like to forget some of it." He smirked - namely acting like a doofus with that Veela lassy. "I intend to." He said in all seriouness. Nathan looked alright in headgear. ...Or so he thought. He looked around again, squinting over to the area where the crowds of people thickened. He noticed a few people vanishing and nodded in that direction. "I reckon the portkeys must be over there." He said and began to walk where he was gestuing to. "Hmm..?" He looked at Tristan as they walked. "You just have to touch the object and it'll transport you to your destination." He explained. "Have you never done this before?" Oh Tristan was in for some fun if not. heh. |
For a woman who didn't like to be noticed, her port-key had to be quite simple. Imagining all the confusion that there would be at the game, Luce had chosen her pen port-key over apparating. As she waited patiented for her turn, she began to wonder why she was even there. Initially, she had bought the ticket thinking about Nick, but he had to go on an emergency business travel and, as he had told, he couldn't tell when he'd be arriving. Maybe, just maybe, he would be there in time for the game. Taking a look around, Lucy realized just how popular Quidditch truly was. It wasn't that she payed much attention to, but seemed like half the world did. Or thge entire world, being the world cup and all. Well, you're here now. Enjoy it, she thought to herself. |

He had been so distracted, the thought of security had completely vanished from his brain. "Yeah, sure, hold on," he mumbled to the guy as he stuck both his hands into his pockets and began rummaging through all the shrunken, charmed to be featherlight junk he had there. Oh wait. It's not there. Chuckling to himself, he pulled out his hands and stuck the right on into the inside pocket of his cloak, where he kept the most important things. "Here you go," he pulled the ID out with a flourish, opened it and presented the little thing to the security guy. |
Less than half an hour after Brian and Becca had apparated away from this spot, the trio re-appeared. Well, a different trio that was. With their arms tightly around the Blonde Department Head, Iain and Brian got Lili safely to the apparation point. Then, they looked at Lili and Iain smiled at her softly. "I've got you love. Just a few more minutes." Then he kissed her head gently as he and Brian turned around so that they were looking at each other They both hugged Liliana tightly, making sure that they were both covering her sides so that they would be able to side-along aparate. It was crucial - Liliana didn't have the energy to do it herself. And with that - Pop - they were away and Baby Hunter was away to be welcomed into the world. |
Lili was following after then, or with then rather, a little numbly. She was glad that she did not have to concentate on apparating as they finally reached that point. She let Iain turn her slowly into his arms and wrapped her arms around him tightly so that she wouldn't let go. Not trusting herself to speak now, she just nodded to let him know she was ready and locked her arms as she felt them leaving the check point. |

With another Pop, they were disappeared and on the way to St. Mungos to greet baby Hunter. This's going tobe great, he knew that. |
Katherine stumbled in the fields, muttering to herself. "Why can't these ports be somewhere sensible hey? In the middle of a silly field, really, what were they thinking?" "Hello" Chris said "do you have ID on you" he asked calmly "its our procedure to make sure everyone is good to go through here." Chris saw his other helper dealing with other ID's but he felt he could handle it himself. Then Chris saw his division head appear. "Hello" said Chris "Nice to meet you in person. Yes feel free to help me if you like. I can handle this mostly by myself its very routine but yes you can help if you want to." |
Apparating back with a face that had so many emotions on it, it would confuse anyone who tried to work out what was wrong, Becca gripped the note tightly and walked up to Chris the division head without looking around to see if Olivia had followed "Chris," she nodded to him "Mr Lee's.. gone." she told him, her voice free of any emotion. "I'm taking over the Maintenance and Security while he's gone, so if you have any problems, come to me." she told him. Brian wasn't here right now, he couldn't stop her, and his much needed departments may need some guidance whilst he's away. Raising her eyebrows as if daring him to disagree, Becca suddenly remembered the note and nodded to Chris before going to the other Chris. "Mr Hobgartner" she spoke to him "I have a question. Has someone with the rather rare name of 'Iridesca' come through here?" she asked, looking at him and still clutching the note. |

Bella trudged along after Jake. Jeez...Katherine could be a little clueless at times. I mean, forgetting to pick up their own niece? But when she hugged her and told her she was sorry, Bella really believed it. She smiled up at her favourite and only auntie and said, "Its fine. Really. Jake and I had a great time." She looked up to Kat's boyfriend and sighed when she saw that look of adoration he had when looking at her. YUCK! |
"Oh it's fine. your mom was very nice about it." he chuckled. Kat's mom had been obsesive over him when he came over ever since he became her boyfriend. "So, we wait for a securtity check or what? I'm freezing!" He rubbed his hands together for warmth. |
"I think so..." Kat murmered, looking around. They couldn't go yet. Then she noticed some people taking out IDs. "Yes We need to show our IDs. Makes sense I suppose." She looked in her purse and hoped she'd brought it with. |

Camping, right. "Um, no I'm not..." he frowned as if only now thinking about where he would be camping. "Actually, that would be very appreciated. Thanks!" he smiled big. "Or you know, I dont want to intrude or anything." Who knows what his other friend had planned for them both. The grin that had appeared slightly fell as Nathan somehow, in the most minimalistic way, mention their encounter with the Veela. That had been one scary experience. But they had come out of it alive! "Oooooh yeah." his eyes got round as he remembered. Oh, he's serious? He didn't say anything as Nathan looked quite serious about keeping the hat. Well, once again, he put his foot in his mouth. "Allright..." Tristan nodded and followed his friend. He had absolutely no idea where to go and was sticking to him for as long as possible. His eyebrows raised in interest at the explanation the portkeys. He had known how those things woked, just not been...travelling with one. "Um...no." Tristan said feeling slightly embarrassed. He just hadn't had the opportunity to. "Have you used them many times? How does it feel? Is it like apparating?" So many questions. He was getting slightly nervous. |
Aaron Anderson, not Ben Amsten WHOOSH!!! Annabell Anderson and her son Aaron appeared at the Quidditch World cup site via Teddy bear. He and his mom both got up from the ground laughing about the crazy ride there. "Surprisingly, that wasn't as bad as flying in an airplane!" Aaron said remembering that he vomited after flying into America. He and his mom stood up and looked around. "Lot's of security," his mom said brushing herself off. She had a backpack on with a tent and a cooler with food in it. She took it off he back it put it on Aaron's as he was still looking around. "Look! There's Uncle Ben!!!" he said pointing the the Law Enforcement agent in a suit while putting on the pack. "Perfect!" his mom said in response. "You'll get checked in and he can come get you." Aaron started waving and flailing his arms over towards his uncle Ben so he could notice him while his mom waited for a security person to approach them. |
Ruther was surprisingly early today. After all it is Quidditch and he wanted to find a good spot to make camp. But I hope DH and Daniel is his neighbor. "This little dude is going to be under my watch this Quidditch World cup," he said ruffling Aaron's hair. Ronan hit the ground slightly harder than he had planned and his knees gave out just slightly. He was much more used to traveling in Muggle style or by broomstick for the Portkey's side affects to feel relatively normal for him. He held up the skeleton of an old umbrella and headed over to the security check-in. He hadn't been to the Quidditch World Cup since he was a student back in Australia, a long time before he transferred to Hogwarts. Ronan's heart thumped in his chest in anticipation for what was supposed to an amazing match. |

Poor Hunter Bones landed all in a stumble, still clinging tightly to the somewhat gigantic stop sign. In fact, if she'd fallen, she'd look like Hunter On A Plate, the stop sign so dwarfed her. "Ugh," she threw the sign down and looked for someone to take her papers. HELLO? The press had arrived! |
Ooommmppphhh. Lasca landed on her back effectively knocking the wind out of her. Of course, the Step Monster had to insist that she take an alternate route of transportation giving her a chance to embarrass herself in front of strangers. Well, it wasn't happening. The newly appointed fifth year refused to be embarrassed. Shoving herself to her feet, the teenage Claw dusted herself off and looked around. The officials were everywhere asking for i.d.'s and such. She had no idea where her Papa and the Step Monster were but she really didn't care. She could take of herself after all. Reaching into her purse she extracted her id and her ticket and awaited someone to notice that she was here. |

"Yes go on ahead" said Chris "enjoy the match if you get a chance" and now Chris was now able to devote his time to checking the other guest's ID. He looked over at the vendor row to see what was going on. Then turning to the Hogwarts student who had arrived he said "Hello there do you have a student ID or a regular ID you could show me." He continued to look at the row of vendors and was getting very hungry. But he needed to press on with his work. |
Lasca nodded. "Here it is." The Ravenclaw handed over her Hogwarts identification tag and smiled. She had been about to get very rude but hadn't forgotten her manners. The step monster had that affect on her. Taking a deep breath, Lasca got herself back under control. |

Lasca blushed at her obvious impatience. "I understand." Then he asked about her Papa and his monster thing. How to answer such a loaded question. "Uummm. My Papa is here with my Step....Mother, they left without me this morning." She bite the Mother part out between her teeth and choked on the rest. The Monster had left on purpose hoping she wouldn't come, but Lasca was far more resourceful then the spawn of a skrewt gave her credit for. She smiled at the ministry security guy but was sure it had come out more of a grimace. What else could she say? She was starting her fifth year next term, she was old enough to go out on her own. It wasn't like she was going to cause any trouble. On the contrary, she wanted to stay far away from any such nonsense. |
Nine hours after they apparated out, the important Trio apparated back, with a new addition in tow. Iain's arm's were still possessively wrapped around his tired wife's waist, except this time he was making sure that their little baby boy was protected by the apparation. His best male friend was on his wife's other side protecting her fully from the shunts and movements of the travel. As he looked over Liliana's head, he smiled at Brian. "Thank you for your help." He meant every single word, and knew that he would do anything and everything for Becca and Brian when their own little bundle of joy came to join the world later on in the year. As he looked down at the baby, and his wife he felt nothing but love for them, and he leant in and kissed Liliana softly as he and Brian moved apart a little. His arm was around Lili's waist, and he couldn't believe how gorgeous their little baby boy was. He couldn't believe how strong Lili had been through the six and a half hour labour; and he knew that the cramped hand had been totally worth the six-pound-four-once boy that would now rule their lives. |

As Chris congradulated them, Iain grinned. "He is amazing, stunning just like his mother." He said with a happy sigh. As the man asked for their ID's, Ian produced both of the Hunter's ID's; Department Head Hunter and Division Head Hunter for the Minstry Department of of Internation Magical Co-operation. He smiled at Chris, glad that the man was being vigilant in his work. It was always a good sign. "Thank you DH," Iain said, shaking the man's hand. Although, how the man knew it was a baby boy was slightly odd, considering the only person who could see him was Chris - and Skye could have been a girl or a boy. However... Nothing could have tampered with his mood in that moment so he said nothing about it. |

With the satisfied and happy smile on his face, Brian appeared back into where he belongs to. Taking another happy glance at the baby, Brian felt a thin layer of tear forming in his eyes and waving his hand to Iain when he thanked him. "No mate. It's all my pleasure. You two are like family for us..." his voice was soft and honest. Now time to see and reach his life back. He was restless. "Okay, guys, take a time to relax in our security tent if you like. Now I'm off to see my wife, " he said with a grin and getting ready to apparate to East field where he had left her alone, helpless. |
Madison watched as the people began to flood inside by either apparating or by portkey. She made sure to direct people the right way and that each person had their identifications on them. So far everything was running smoothly and she was proud of her department for providing great work. She would definitely need to do something for them later in time after this was all over with. |
Standing silently and looking at people as they passed through, Becca smiled. But now the trio were back. Still saying nothing, she saw Brian getting ready to apparate away. "No! I'm here" she called out to him before sighing and looking at the baby in her friend's arms. Baby skye? Nice name. |
