Mehmehmehmehwheeee...

Within moments, Sarah apparated to the check-in area, just slightly flustered. It was really the first Quidditch World Cup she'd be attending and she wasn't exactly sure what to bring. Did she need a toothbrush? Would she need to bring her security blanket...? That... she... doesn't sleep with of course. No matter. Sarah had gathered up any things that she saw fit and stuffed it in her bag, using an expansion charm to hold it all.

Now she wasn't exactly sure how things were supposed to work. She hadn't quite discussed the whole matter with Becca and Brian, but surely they wouldn't mind her tagging along with them? Of course she didn't want to be the lightbulb, but... well... this event would be an exception. So Sarah stood where she had been standing for the past few minutes as she glanced around, looking out for a sign of her brother and sister-in-law, or for someone to give her the 'okay'.

"Oh... Of course." Xana said, reaching into her bag for her... wallet? Oh, surely not. She began hunting through the large bag, looking for her identification. Surely she had not left it at the shop? She had triple-checked that she had everything!

"Hi, honey..." she said softly to her husband, digging deeper still and growing agitated. "I'm so sorry- I can't believe this... It's GOT to be in here somewhere..." she apologized to the ministry security agent, blushing furiously. "I really am Aryanna- Mrs. Claudian Slughorn... he can vouch for me..." she said, pawing through her belongings, clearly very embarrassed. "I'm sure I have it here somewhere..." she wished she had packed lighter. So embarrassing... the wife of the assistant to the minister, here without her ID!

You're Mr Lee's sister i see" said Chris coming up to the next arrival. He wanted to give Mrs Slughorn a few moments to find her ID. "I can get you in to the grounds if you wish. Do you have ID just for proof" he asked. "By the way Mr. Lee is around here somewhere he was talking to his other coworkers."

Xana continued to search, feeling a lead lump in her stomach as she became more and more certain that she had left her ID on the counter in the back room of the apothecary. She took a step closer to the gentleman in charge of security, lowering her voice to keep what she said private while she continued to hunt frantically for that ID.

"I really am who I say I am... Please... My husband works at the ministry, I really don't want to embarrass him in front of colleagues-- I was running late, I think I left it at my shop in Diagon Alley... I really don't want to go all the way back, I hate to travel by portkey... Can't you let him vouch for my identity? Pretty please?" the tiny young woman glanced up to him, her blue eyes pleading, before she glanced down, continuing to hunt.

Oh. Uhm. Wow.

Shock couldn't help but appear all over Sarah's face when some man stepped towards here, saying that she must be Brian's sister. It wasn't that it was false.. it was TRUE. But how did he know? She didn't believe ever meeting him before. Nor did she believe that Brian had ever put up pictures of her on his desk for two reasons. One... that would be just plain old weird and creepy. And two... she wasn't a very photogenic person and had made herself clear that she did not want any pictures of herself displayed around the Ministry.

NEVER.

But anyway... Sarah soon got over the shock and smiled at the man. Must be one of Brian's employees. Friendly guy. "You've got that correct. How'd you know?" she asked, curiously. She looked down at her clothing to check if there was anything that said, 'Brian Lee's Little Sister' on it. Noooo... "Oh. Of course," Sarah said, nodding her head as she dug into her bag looking for an ID.

A down side to having an expansion to her bag. Difficulty finding things. But Sarah managed. After much searching and embarrassed smiles, she was able to fish it out of the pile of stuff in her bag. "Here you go," she said, handing it to the man. "I hope you won't mind if I go looking for my brother and sister-in-law?"

"I heard your name after i exited out of his office during that embarrassed moment i had." said Chris. He looked over her ID again checking for validity and then he said. Your're clear and yes feel free to see your brother of course and your sister in law." He handed her ID back to her. Now he turned back to the issue at hand with the missing ID.

Oh. Okay. Blink blink. That made sense, Sarah guessed. No matter. Time to move on. "Thank you Mr..." she stopped there and didn't say anything. Oh well. She took the ID from his hands and smiled and nodded her head at him. Sarah stood there with a blank look as she watched the guy walk away and continue on with business. Great. Now what? OHRIGHT. Look for Brian and Becca. Just joy.

Sighing, she heaved her bag as she trudged around, searching for the two.

Daphne apparated to the location her boss gave her. Situated at that spot was a lone backpack, an object that stood out against the rolling fields. A few others joined her at that point as she checked her watch. When the group was certain it was time, they all put a hand on the bag.

She was not a fan of traveling by portkey, it felt as if she were being yanked in every possible direction, and it wasn't at all appealing. Finally she felt her feet hit the ground and saw she was now in the midst of a massive setup. Witches and wizards were running about, obviously the Quidditch world cup was no easy task. She reached into her small purse and pulled out a notebook and quill and began to jot down her observations.

She walked up to a security member. "Hello I'm Daphne Jones with the Daily Prophet," she introduced herself, rummaging through her bag for her press identification."So how it going so far, according to plan?" she inquired, eyes darting around, observing the action.

"Hello" said Chris as the reporter started talking. "Yes at the moment everything is smooth save for a few ID issues. We just want everyone to be aware to make sure they identify themselves to gain entrance to the grounds. we have had these ID skirmishes where some guests have misplaced their ID's but we are trying to fix the situation as quickly as possible. So yes we are hoping that this event will go off without any problems."

Turning away from the reporter for a moment Chris spotted another person with the ministry arrive on the spot. He saw that a cactus had been used as a portkey. Chris hoped the man would be okay and then said. "Hello sir do you have ID for proof of identity." He continued looking around making sure things were orderly and then he held out his hand.

Madison heard another person stating that they did not have proper identification with them. Were they for real? She took out her wand and placed it to her throat, making sure the volume was not too loud but loud enough to carry over the voices.

"For those of you just arriving, please have your identifications out and ready. Security is working as fast as they can in checking and it would be appreciated to those who are already prepared.

"If you do not have identification, I'm sorry to say that you will not get into the event without it." She paused at what she was saying to look at Marco Denver with a raised brow and added. "No matter who you say you are."

Xana bit her lip, her eyes momentarily sparkling with choked back tears of embarrassment. She continued to hunt about in her purse, rummaging past all the items in search for that elusive ID. Please... she thought to herself, glancing plaintively from Claudian to the security officer and back. It had to be in here somewhere. It just had to be.

Hearing Mrs. Masterson's loud voice he listened closely to the Department Head as she stated the ID requirements. Then he said "well said hopefully that statement will get them thinking."

Claudian waved when he saw Xana. He was sort of waiting to see what would happen with Marco, meaning, how long before hit wizards came down and casted in him a temporary holding charm. It took him back to their school days. Marco Denver and largely significant quidditch events usually ended with the former on lock down.

As he waited he noticed Xana looking flusterly for her various purse items. Oh, her id! He'd forgotten that he'd tucked it away with his own for safe keeping. Reaching into his robe he made his way back over towards Chris, the security wizard and gave him Xana's identification which read: Aryanna Slughorn. "Xana is her nickname." He felt he should explain.

Right behind Xana the curly haired wizard known as Tag appeared to have port-keyed himself...the hard way.

"Tagren! Fancy seeing you here." Claudian remembered Tag from his school ground behaviour, which often constituted of things Claudian was never really sure were fact, myth or legend. Could someone really stash that much cheese wiz in their dormitory? And if so, how?

Chris finally hoped this ID situation was resolved he looked over Mrs. Slughorn's ID closely and then he said "Okay she's clear for a moment there i was wondering if that ID would ever show up. Enjoy the match" Chris said and he handed back the ID in the most respectful manner he could possibly show.

"Thank you... Yes, see, this is me. Mrs. Slughorn." Xana shot Claudian a look of purest gratitude and mouthed the words my hero. She waited for the guard to clear her, meanwhile watching Claudian talking with Tag.

Warren smiled as the two got aquainted and then as all attention went back on him after his news. "It is isn't it. About bloody time really," it was about him...he could make fun of himself. Alexa had waited long enough for him. Looking at Madison as she spoke he nodded, "I hope so. Thank you."

"Great I can't wait to meet him and see her again." His eyes followed Madison's to where a confrontation was arising and he frowned with a nod in acknowledgment of what she said and her hand on his arm. Following her his hand slipped into his pocket preparing for anything. "So mate," he started without looking at Nathan, "bring anything for the tent?"

Claudian gave the security wizard a thankful nod and took Xana to the other side of the clearance. He thought it was best to be out of the way now that witches and wizards were arriving quite abundantly. He waited a moment for Tag and Marco, the latter of whom was likely going to be arrested sooner than see the match.

Daphne nodded, and then laughed. "Oh I'm a sports reporter, I'll mainly be doing stories on the athletes," she explained, sensing the security guard was keen on being as proper as possible. "I actually just need to clear security," she smiled, brushing her red hair behind her ears.

"Oh my well it seems i am telling you both then. I believe personally that the qudditch cup is ready to go. The teams are set as well. Is your press ID your normal form of ID or do you have another personal one for regular use." Either of them would be good just to make sure.

Brian's attention was now onhis happy face. "Congratulations, Warren!" he gave him an one arm hug, ofcourse a many hug as his strong arm squeezed his shoulder and let it go quickly. Warren's smile was really encouraging. And he remebered how he had been jumping around once they got engaged to tie a knot. "So, when are you going to invite us?" he looked at Becca quickly before focussed on Warren.


Running his gaze through the identification details, Brian looked up at her with a nod. She was from Accident and Catastrophes department. Very well.

"It's perfect Miss. Thank you for making this easy." he responded to her genuine concern, "Yeah, but still we should keep our thrid eye.
on this." with that he smiled at her and moved to next person, pretty small person actually in size, who seemed creating a scene.

Wrapping an arm around her, Brian smiled, "I know. Let's forget about that atleast for now" he sighed mildly, desperatedly wanting to get rid off those thoughts from his mind. Nasty thoughts. He couldnt allow it to haunt him anymore. No way. "Go slow?" he nudged her back gently, very gently, "No slow business. Fast, will be the middle name of our lil one. " he smirked at her and gave her her all time favourite smile. "Baby, you're standing for a long time. You want to sit?" concerned and looking around for a shady place to make her sit and take rest for a while atleast.


Brian agreed with her. By the way she was talking it was so visible that she liked her job, her new position. Well..transportation is one of the pretty busy and big departments. As tucked his hand another hand into his pocket too, Brian grinned. "You're right. But the job is still in our hands which requires all the essences of our brain."

"No problem, Madison" he shifted to his another leg, "It's my duty.." he said cooll eventhough he had a tough job in his hand and put his head in front for everyone's saftely.. Very tough.




Brian was there just in time. Or atleast he thought. Seeing Chris talking to a man, with Claudian and Madison around. Waving and smiling at Claudian, Brian turned to Chris, "Chris, what's the problem?" he asked to one of his very sincere employees.

"Sir" said Chris. "Mr Denver here thought he could get in without ID and he thought i knew who he was. Truth is i have never met him in the ministry. Then he started getting a little out of hand because he thought i wasnt addressing him with respect which i was. Finally Mrs. Masterson came and took care of it and told him to stand down. Nothing further happened. I do believe that Mr Denver should just be told to stay off the grounds until he provides good ID."

Brian was all ears, listening him carefully without interupting. "Okay. I trust you, Chris. Let me take care of this person if he play anymore." he said and giving a thankful look at Madison for helping on this matter. "Dont worry, just resume your job now" he told him with a nice smile.

"Thank you very much sir" said Chris "I was looking of course for you but i didnt see you so its a good thing that Mrs. Masterson here was nearby." He went back to just waiting for the daily prophet reporter to show her ID.
