Warmer weather meant Chloe was wanting outside more and more. Her runs were starting to bring her to the pitch to do the rest of her workout. Pushups, jumping jacks, yoga, it was all done on the pitch, but once she was done she would start to fly and today she wanted to do laps and get ready for the U17 tryouts. She had been conflicted on where to try out. Some of her friends wanted her to try out for Germany, but she wanted to play with her school friends too. So she wasn't sure, but in the end, Germany would be where she was so she would try out for that team.

Now that she had just finished her jumping jacks and was doing her stretches Chloe let her mind wander to other things. Like how was she going to get her brother a date so he would stop being so overprotective of her and maybe boys would start noticing her and how was she going to get taller when it seemed she hadn't grown in over a year. These were the important things in the young 14 years old's life.

It was a really nice day today. Skyler found herself at the quidditch pitch. After grabbing her broom that her mum had gotten her last year (not too fast, only a nimbus 2001), she headed out to rhe field to find a Ravenclaw already strerching. Not wanting to bother her, Skyler found a spot on the field, not too fsr away so the Ravenclaw could talk if she wanted too but not too close to where she would be hovering either. Skyler yawned slightly as she reached her arms into the sky, stretching them.

Just as she was about to lean over to stretch her legs Chloe saw someone else come onto the pitch. She gave the older girl a wave before leaning over and counting to ten. As she got up and grabbed her broom she looked over at the girl again, "Doing some practicing? You could join me if you'd like."


Heading over to the box that she had brought out she opened it and pulled out a practice snitch. "What position do you play?" Maybe she had the ball in there and could let the girl borrow it.

Skyler nodded to her. "Yeah, I was just going to fly around the field for a bit. But I guess I could practise with you too," she said.
Skyler nodded and grabbed her broom. She headed towards, closer to the girl.
"I play keeper," she said.
Did she not see her on the field last year? Then again, she probably did not make the team last year so Skyler shrugged it off.
"I'm Skyler by the way," she smiled a bit.

"Well I mean if you don't want to practice together that's okay. " She liked being social, but she knew she could be annoying at times, so if she wanted to practice alone she could.

Going to the trunk she pulled out a quaffle. "I can be a chaser and throw some at you. I'm not the best chaser, but I could do it for a bit." She couldn't remember all the positions for every house, but knew the girl looked familiar with classes at least.


"I'm Chloe, shall we get in the air?"

Skyler shrugged. "Don't want to waste the opportunity," she said and nodded at the offer of the quaffles as she mounted her broom.
"Sounds good," she said about the offer of the quaffle. Skyler got into the air and headed to the goal posts a silence response to "shall we get in the air?"

She took the girl getting in the air as a let's go and grabbed the quaffle. It felt weird in her hands, way too big, but she took it and to flight. Trying to get used to flying with something other than a snitch she made a few laps around before heading towards the goals.

She didn't want to make it easy for the older girl, but she was sort of afraid of losing her balance with the quaffle, so for the first throw, she went left once and back towards the right before sending the quaffle at the keeper.

Skyler's eyes darted as the girl went left and then back right bef9re throwing the ball. Skyler easily cought it and threw it back at her. "Nice throw," she said. She could tell at the beginning that Chloe wasn't used to using such a large ball, (for her anyway). But Skyler didn't say anything about it.

Seeing Skyler catch the ball Chloe couldn't help but smile, even though she wasn't use to being a chaser she didn't feel she did that horrible. Hearing the compliment from the other girl she couldn't help but smile, "Thanks, you're a good keeper."


Looping around she turned to face the goals again and lifted her hand to have the ball thrown back to her. She would try a different way this time, maybe get it past her.
