Default Rules and Expectations

IC RULES

1. I don't ask for a lot - be on time, raise your hand before you speak, and don't disrupt the learning of others.

2. You should be prepared for every lesson. This means bringing your cauldron, potions kit, and potions textbook with you to each and every class unless otherwise noted.

3. Be respectful of your professor and of each other. Absolutely no disrespect will be tolerated in my classroom. Point, blank, period.

4. That being said, if you don't understand something or have a question please ask!

5. If you ever have any questions, feel free to visit me during my office hours at the Groundskeeper's Hut.

OOC RULES

1. All SS Rules and SS RPG Rules apply AT ALL TIMES!

2. Do not plagiarize. Don't copy your fellow classmates, don't copy straight from the HP Wiki - just don't do it at all, ok?

3. Any OOC rule breaking will be dealt with in an OCC manner, just as IC rule breaking will be given IC consequences as punishment.

4. Please always remember to separate IC vs. OCC. This means:
  • No god-modding. This means if your character was not told something/did not experience it, they do not know it, even if you OOC read or stalked something
  • Do NOT RP for another player or their character - and you DEFINITELY shouldn't RP for the professor.
  • Remember that this is all a game and we're all here to have fun! Anything done by my character Javier is not a personal act by ME, Lissy, and vice versa.

5. If you are ever, for any reason, uncomfortable do not hesitate to reach out to myself or another member of staff. We don't bite, I promise, and we're here to help!

6. As stated above, Javier does not have an office in the castle now that he is also doubling as Groundskeeper, so any office RPs should be started in that thread!
