Why do you like the wizarding world of Harry Potter?
 

Seems the real world is the dark arts out of control.
Harry Potter sites are a nice escape.

My mum recommend the books to me, but I thought they wouldn't be any good as they were books for teens. Then the 1st film came out and every time I saw the trailer I wanted to see it.

I went to see it and I loved it and decided to read the book as they usually have more in them, I loved it and read the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, I then had to wait for the 5th book and the rest is history.

I love it because its a very intriguing story, full of humor, mystery and wonder

I love it because the way it's written it merges with our own world. I think it's fun to think I could just happen across a witch or wizard and not even know it. I love that hogwarts is a medieval castle that has a rich history. I think the world is quite fun, and reading about it really get me away from every day stress.

I do not like the Wizarding World. I love it. I am nearly 35, and I fell in love with the books and films when I was a teenager. It was an escape from the real world, and it still is.

The wizarding world of Harry Potter is the best fantasy world that has been created in ages. It's magic and magical world is one which is unrivalled.

I like it because it was a huge part of my childhood and revisiting it now brings up good nostalgia for my childhood

it's nostalgic. I grew up reading and watching the series. I enjoy the comforting feeling, makes me feel like I'm a kid again.

My aunt and cousin recommended the Harry Potter books to my mother and I. She started reading them to me and we both loved the story. As I got older and became a better reader, we started taking turns reading chapters to each other. Harry Potter was the first thing my mom and I shared.
The books will always be my favorite part of the phenomenon, though some of the movies are solid adaptations. They're everything a kid wants in a story. Every once in awhile I'll go on a Potter binge and pick up a few or more of the books to reread some of my favorite parts.
Harry Potter is the fandom I'm most passionate about, alongside Batman. Like all the other HP fans, I love how it created such an awesome community of fans.

Harry Potter wasn't a thing I liked until 2 years ago (2021) because I was hyperobsessed with other things- as such- Dungeons and Dragons. Now, I see I can be hyperobsessed with BOTH dungeons and dragons AND Harry Potter.

The thing I like most about Harry Potter and or the Wizarding World- is the spells. Occassionally, I will admit, I have to come up with the incantations for the unnamed spells if I want to write my characters using it.

Much like Harry himself, I was 11 when I was introduced to the Wizarding World. My grandma got me the Sorcerer's Stone for Christmas, and she said she'd heard kids really liked this series. I'd never heard of it before. Once I started, I couldn't get enough, and I'd torn through the next 3 within like a week, and then found myself having to wait for Order of the Phoenix.

My aunt gave me the first book cuase she knows im obsessed with books and she didnt read it anymore, from then i fell in love with his adventures and never left!

I was first introduced to Harry Potter by one of my friends in school in the year 2003 , she and i used to read the books in class. I watched the very first movie in the same year i did not know the movie was released in the year 2001, I immediately fell in love with the books and the movie..no one can replace the cast they are just perfect for all the movies I absolutely love them. One more reason I love them is that they are all in my age group i was born in the 90s and it felt like i grew up watching them on screen I felt belonged with them.

I've been enchanted by the world of Harry Potter since reading the first book when I was 6. It was my first full length novel that I'd ever read, and I fell in love with the art of writing and decided that I wanted to be a writer and create my own books. I've been in love with the art of writing and taken joy in reading ever since!

So my parents introduced me to Harry Potter I have been a Harry Potter head all since that day I LOVED Harry Potter and the wizarding world.

This magical world is perfect <3

The reason why i love harry potter books
 

Characters and Relationships: The Harry Potter series features a diverse cast of characters, each with their own distinct personalities, quirks, and growth throughout the story. Fans develop strong connections to characters like Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore, among others, and become invested in their journeys and relationships.

I first know that book at 08s,but I didn't want to read it. But 3 years ago, I watch that 9serise movies! I like it after that I read the original book, migical!

the place has always held a special place in my heart, i start reading the books late, 1999 and such, but i wish i started reading the earlier.

I love it because it explains human nature in a beautiful way. So much of the world seems obvious to you when you read the books, and they explain things you may have never thought about or never noticed in a unique way.

It allows my imagination to run wild, and gives me a solid foundation for stories I make on my own

I felt it allowed me to be myself.

I love it because it gave me a gateway into the fantasy genre as a kid and the books grew with me

The first movie blew my mind, and then when I discovered that there were books it was based on, I just got sucked in.

Magical. Takes me away from all of the actual crap.

I honestly dont know why i like harry potter i just do!!!!!!

Why Harry Potter?
 

It has always seemed like a getaway from the real world and a fun way to connect with friends and family.

Oh, where do I even start? It's like asking why do we love chocolate frogs - because they're awesome, obviously!
Firstly, who doesn't want to live in a world where you can wave a wand and make things happen? I mean, muggle chores would be so much more bearable. "Accio remote!" and bam, no more lost TV remotes.
Then, there's the whole Hogwarts experience. Who wouldn't want to attend a school where you get to learn Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and fly on broomsticks? Way cooler than algebra, right? Plus, you get to live in a castle with secret passages and moving staircases. Hogwarts is like the ultimate fun house, only it's real (well, in our hearts, at least).
Let's not forget about the friendships and camaraderie. Harry, Hermione, and Ron showed us the true meaning of friendship. They stuck together through thick and thin, fought off giant spiders (no thank you), and even faced Voldemort. That's friendship goals right there!
And, of course, the magic of the stories themselves. J.K. Rowling created a world so rich and detailed that it feels real. It's an escape from the everyday into a world full of wonder, adventure, and, most importantly, magic.
So, in a nutshell, the wizarding world is like a warm butterbeer on a cold day - comforting, magical, and something you just can't get enough of!

Such beautiful hope in this world and the books are just so incredible no matter how many times you read them. Little things in the first book that come full circle in the last book - AH-MAZ-ING!!!!

It makes me nostalgic about my childhood (even though I'm not that old). They were the first movies I ever watched. I love the excitement and hopeful possibilities that exist within the world that I can live vicariously through.

This s an escape for me.

Rowling Gives Us A Complete Package
 

Rowling's development and handling of Harry Potter and his world is what I usually refer to as 'complete.'

That is, we know what we need to know from the beginning to the end.

Scenes, characters, events, background... all is brought together in such a way as to leave us feeling we're touching a bit of 'reality' - or something able to be reality in another reality than our own.

Not all authors manage that. Many build nice 'story'... but it doesn't quite rise to the level of almost-believability.

Had she wanted to (and I wish she had) she could have contionued the life of Harry Potter through indefinitely, until she finally put him in his grave (or whatever end she may have wanted him to ultimately move on to) and we would still be there moving right along with her/him.

Few book series have struck me in the same way as Rowlings. They are counable on less than the fingers of my two hands. In fact, nearly on just one.

The cozy yet adventurous feel of the series cannot be replicated.

I love the Wizarding World of Harry Potter because there’s so many opportunities. Since so little is actually confirmed about magical theory and academic subjects, almost anything could be possible!

I could sit here and write a dissertation on the many advantages of the wizarding world but allow me to cut to the chase and write what we're all thinking. One word. Reparo.

Alright fine it could just be my inner borderline OCD organization-obsessed neat-freak tendencies but how great is that spell? Whether it's Hermione fixing Harry's glasses every 5 minutes or Dumbledore's miraculous transformation of Slughorn's borrowed house, it makes the annual 'Spring cleaning' a more frequent and truly an effortless endeavour. A cleaner world *insert sparkles emoji*

Also apparition and the invisibility cloak. And Molly Weasley.

I have always been in to fantasy and Sci-Fi, The usual suspects such as Star Wars Star Trek, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter was a magical story that had everything that you would find in a world created with such detail and passion. I was instantly hooked.

watched sorcerers stone first, then began to read the books. love both books and movies. books for the in depth story telling and the movies for bring it to life.

Its just amaizing, I love to go to universals as well. Its incredible

I like the Potter universe because it's just crazy enough to be believable. You know it's not true, but it it was, it would probably be like it's described in the books.

Oh, and I also feel a lot of gratitude at how it brought loads of kids to books. I don't know of any other series that had 10-year-olds grab a 1000-page tome with actual pleasure and anticipation!

I love how interesting the story can be when analyzed on a deeper level.

Honestly its just a really well written book and the continuity is amazing. The Harry Potter books create a complete 360 degree world that is engaging and believable (as in feasible). I will always love it above any other fictional universe.
