Which is your favorite Harry Potter film? And why?
|
PoA has long since been my favourite movie - right from the day I saw it in the cinema. Followed by PS :D |
I liked the second movie, I just found it the most interesting. |
I love GoF....the three tasks were awesome to watch (my favorite is the second task), and the Yule Ball was hilarious. Seeing the students step into the dating world and realizing how much they're growing and maturing was something else I liked. |
Prisoner of Azkaban is def my favorite. Seeing David Tennant (who played Barty Crouch Jr) in a darker role was amazing. I also loved seeing Lupin transform into a werewolf. |
Deathly hallows for 2 reason 1 we learn the truth about snape 2 Harry beats Voldemort |
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because after watching this film we realize that story has become more serious and darker |
Prisoner of Azkaban for me. I love the way it slowly changes the tone between the first two films and what comes next. And it features my absolute favourite HP character, Sirius Black |
This is such a hard question because I love them all for different reasons! If I absolutely had to choose, I'd probably go with Deathly Hallows Part Two. It's kind of a cliche answer, but there's something so special about it. I think it's the Pensieve scene that puts it at the top of my list. The acting in that film is truly phenomenal, as well. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! |
It's a tie between Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince. POA introduces us to the marauders, who are my favorites, especially Sirius. |
Chamber of Secrets because the soundtrack is my absolute favourite |
I Like Harry potter prison of Azaban because i love Sirius and Remus relationship with harry and each other |
Mine is 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' because: 1. It introduces us to the Marauders, who I think are amazing (especially Sirius, of course). 2. After watching the film, you realise the story has become much more serious and darker. 3. It doesn't directly mention Voldemort. |
Order of the Phoenix is one of my favorites because: 1. Bellatrix returns. 2. You see a lot more conflict with the Death Eaters and Voldemort. 3. Dumbledore's Army! 4. The Weasley twins great fireworks. I prefer the book, but I think this is one of the most true to the book movies they've made. |
i love order of the phoenix because of the weasley fireworks you see more of the deatheaters and of course because of bella |
Either Half Blood Prince or Order. While I feel like it was an absolute crime that we only got about 12 seconds of Harry mourning for Sirius (I MEAN COME ON! AND THEY DIDNT EVEN SHOW WHERE HE GOT THE MIRROR SHARD HE JUST SUDDENLY HAD IT BECAUSE THATS NORMAL!!) But those movies were probably the peak of the immersive experience with the twins! OH BUT IN DH WHEN NEVILLE CHOPPED OFF NEGINI'S HEAD!! Ok I like most of the movies even if I sit and diss them all the time... just dont talk to me about POA and we can be friends! |
I voted Prisoner of Azkaban because I like how Alfonso Cuaron put his own touches on it. |
Favourite film is definitely Prisoner of Azkaban. I enjoyed the feel of this movie, as I think this is kind of the turning point before things start getting a lot darker. There's the addition of Sirius and Remus, which also provides people in his life that are not only family that Harry has chosen for himself, but they in fact his family and he would have grown up with them as uncles if his parents had survived. Also Buckbeaks flight is both one of my favourite scenes, and also my favourite song from the soundtrack. |
Gotta be the same as my favorite book, HBP. Love the info on Voldemort and finding out about horcruxes... even the 50th time reading it... |
I always loved GOF though I’m not sure why. I am watching the film now on USA! |
I loved watching the HBP because I felt like it just bought the story to a tipping point and the movies portrayed it amazingly. I enjoyed going into Voldemort's past and learning all about what he did to became who he was. |
Same as the book, Philosopher's Stone. I guess for pretty much the same reason too, it's the first movie so everything's just new and exciting and everybody's so smol and cute owo |
My favorite movie is Prisoner of Azkaban. It's my favorite solely because book 3 was my favorite of the series, so I was most excited for its movie counterpart to come out. I thought it was done in a really interesting way cinematically too! |
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because it was cool seeing the visuals of the Tiwizard Tournament come to life. Also, I feel like a lot of jokes in the Harry Potter community come from that movie. My friends and I still quote the "said Dumbledore, calmly," line sometimes. |
Haha i have actually seen them all but i always preferred how things looked in my head... Particularly with the monsters and things like that... |
