Book launches were my favorite experience, I would have to say. I've gone to quite a few Harry Potter themed parties--I myself threw one.
They can be a lot of fun, and it's always great when you get to chat with someone that actually knows the books, that knows the story.

Loooooved the midnight book release parties! No one in my group of friends loved the books as much as I did, so I'd always drag a friend with me. It never failed--they always ended up loving it! I'd dress up, or I'd draw a lightening bolt on my forehead with eyeliner. We'd stand in line waiting waiting waiting... then I'd rush home and devour the book in one night!
Ah, memories!

Universal is sooo fun. My girlfriend and I went on our first date there, and we plan on going back in full Hogwarts uniforms when we can! The shops are sooo cute, and I can never pass up the chance to go on the one ride in the castle, even though I get wildly motion sick and once lost a flip-flop on it.
I've also always wanted to have a House-themed party specifically, with color-coded snacks and games meant to win your house points, and a prize at the end of the night for whoever's house won! Never got the chance to actually do it, but I'd love to someday.

My most magical experience was my first midnight book release party, which was for Order of the Phoenix.
My mom and dad had preordered the book, and I was looking forward to getting it the day it came out. However, they found out that our small-town bookstore was doing a Midnight Release Party, which was kind of unusual for my town. They asked if I wanted to go, and my answer was obviously, "Yes!"
The bookstore was in a plaza, and the whole parking lot was full of attendees. I had dressed up like Hermione - thankfully my Halloween costume from the year before still fit. There was a wand making station, a butterbeer station, a "herbology" station where we planted seeds in a small pot, and a trivia contest (which I lost...).
I was 10 years old, and I stayed up all night reading after I got my book at midnight.

I like surprises best. There was one event randomly in Indonesia with everyone wearing HP robes. People are weird and random and that entertains me.

I like that Harry Potter can bring so many generations of people together. I was introduced to the books by a mother figure in my life a few months after the sorcerers stone was released. I took my son the the deathly hallows midnight release when he was a few months old, and a few years ago he celebrated his 11th birthday with a huge Harry Potter party.

I look forward to going to the Wizarding World in Universal Studios one day soon. Crossing fingers! I'd also love to attend a movie premiere for any of the new Fantastic Beasts movies, that would take some serious magic!

I'm all about the movie marathons on TV. True, I have all of the HP movies on DVD, but I never miss them when they're on the television. I'm addicted. Lol!

The book launches. It's so exciting to be in a room of other people who love the novels, and love dressing up and reading. One of the book launches was in a coffee shop/book store and they even had a Starbucks drink marketed around the launch. The drink was delicious by the way |

Went to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios Hollywood a few years ago. Such a cute place with lots of fun details (and I loved the pumpkin juice). Would like to someday visit the Universal Studios in Orlando and experience the Diagon Alley section of the park.

My favorite experience is visiting both parks in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Its a completely immersive experience. My favorite park is Diagon Alley. When you walk into the park through the brick walls in combination with the sound effects make me feel butterflies in my stomach and the architecture there is breathtaking and truly magical!

I have only been 1 time in my life to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was out of this world. Not only the rides, but the whole experience of buying a wand and using it to make this move in the windows to the food and drink.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Josephine Plover Seventh Year | Hi, everyone! I'm new here!
And I guess my favorite Wizarding World experience is when I first saw The Order of the Phoenix at the theatre. I hadn't really read any of the books up to that point, and the only movie I'd seen (Sorcerer's Stone) I'm pretty sure I only watched on VHS at home. So Order of the Pheonix could be seen as my first "real" Wizarding World experience, even though I didn't end up fully getting into it until several years later.
And I have to say, for someone who hadn't read the book the movie was based on, or any of the previous ones, I seem to recall having a decent grasp on what was going on in the story. That might be why Order of the Phoenix remains one of my favorite films and why I think it's one of the better adaptations.
I was also really happy when I was sorted as a Thunderbird at Ilvermorny. I almost began to sympathize with Albus Potter after I got sorted into Gryffindor despite not really feeling like I belonged there, so I was really worried about taking the quiz for Ilvermorny's sorting, since I knew I wouldn't be able to change the outcome.

| My favorite potter experiences
The midnight book launches were very magical. We would cosplay our characters, play games, pretend to duel, and just have fun surrounded by a community of folks doing the same thing. I really needed to feel like I belonged to something at that point in my life. The Harry and the Potters concerts were a boatload of fun as well. I still have the cds and T shirts signed somewhere. Universal Studios was an epic experience. I really liked Diagon Alley.

Wizard Rock. During the height of Harry Potter's mainstream popularity, people made Harry Potter themed bands and released music. The songs were really good, and it was exciting when I came across the music on YouTube.
