Default Did you read the books before or after seeing the movies?
curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog

Did you read all the books before you saw the movies? Or did you do it the other way around? Perhaps you bounced around and read some books before the movies, but not others. How did that impact your viewing of the movies or your reading of the books??

I have seen all 8 films, the first Fantastic Beasts, and I have started the second one.

I have only started reading Book 1.

It will be great because I will be able to see the differences as they happen in the books.

~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.

I definitely read the books first. But before I got into them, I recalled seeing snatches of the movies on television. I didn't really understand the storyline at that time but I knew I wanted to - and needed to - read the books. So I did {started this when I was 11} then got to the movies shortly after

I read the books prior to watching the first movie when it came out. I would then start re-reading the specific book before each movie came out so I would get to see their interpretation. However, after the 5th movie came out I learned to not re-read the specific book so fresh before watching the movie since they started cutting so much good content and added new scenes not in the books or changing events to fit the time frame.

I watched the first 3 movies first. They made me want to read the books. I did it, and there was no turning back

For me at least, reading the books takes longer, so it was a no-brainer which to do first.
