Once Griffin was done speaking to the minister he wheeled himself over to another spot in the room near the badges. He had already picked his environmental badge up and had it proudly on, but he wanted to see if there were other's that would take them, plus he maybe hoped it would have a map to where the department was located.
Not seeing a map, but seeing a person alone he moved a bit closer. "Excuse me, but would you be able to tell where exactly the department of environmental protection is. I'm going to be interning there and I'm afraid I haven't found the department head as of yet." Though the man could be somewhere in the crowd, there did seem to be plenty of people at this welcoming.
Interesting.
Olly had NOT missed who had taken the two DERP-badges. Which didn't mean she would do anything about it. No, honestly, she was mostly just here to observe. And so far she couldn't tell whether or not they would be good interns or a waste of time. At least they both seemed polite enough.
She was watching the OTHER intern (Rachel) when all of a sudden Olly found herself face to face with a boy. Who just so happened to be the second intern. With a hint of a smile Olly she nodded, briefly glancing around too, in search for their department head. Her eyes were soon back on the boy in front of her, however. "What's your name?" First things first.
Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.
Okay. So Tempest Chandler wasn't so bad. She was encouraging her and uplifting security officers. That was pretty brilliant. Noelle nodded as she was lead to Mr. Bennet.
Noelle gave a small wave bye to Ava before presenting herself to Simon Bennet. "Hi there!" She said enthusiastically, feeling better that Ms. Chandler had said they kept people safe with the security officers. "I'm Noelle Grace Summers. Im interning with the MLES division." She pointed to the badge on her chest as well. The one she'd taken from the front.
She wasn't sure what to do from here or if she just followed Mr. Bennet around all day, so Noelle stayed put.

In fairness, Rooney HAD wanted to be the first person here today and had planned his entire day around how noticed his dedication would be because of that fact. But Dora was his friend, and in years to come, no one would elect a Minister that hadn't time for those dear to them. As she spoke, and they joined the outer circles of the gathering group, Rooney reached for her hand and smiled softly. "Don't look at them. Look at me. We don't have to see them after this. It's a big place." And hopefully...he wouldn't have to see some of the people in here for the entire summer. Or have any run ins with a certain Level One employee that wanted his guts for garters.
But that was a whole different story.
He let go of Dora's hand in time to see Her Royal Highness the Minister walk into the room -- lucky because his palms tripled their sweating and his breathing became a little bit laboured. "Oh my goodness. She's more sophisticated in person. I might be sick, Dora. That's going to be me one day." He did feel particularly queasy, but that could be merely put down to nerves. Or the five coffees he had drank. Or the french toast his thought was a good idea before those five coffees. Or nerves.
Rooney stood still and staring until they were disrupted by someone (Anderson) walking straight into them. Head turning to look, the former Head Boy couldn't have looked more confused by what had happened. "No matter. No matter. Her presence has blinded me also." Lady Minister, Queen of the Ministry's, that was. Not Miss Dora. Not that Miss Dora wasn't sophisticated... it was just that... the Minister was tHE MINISTER. And that was his dream for one day. Except he now intended to have served the stage for decades firstly and only take on this life when his dancing shoes were hung up.
The face that greeted them as the Department Head of International Cooperation was not the face that Rooney Bronwyn had envisioned whatsoever. So it did take him a second or two to adjust to this new sketch building in his head. This would throw his Ministry file off absolutely completely into space. How undeniably annoying of Erec Delacroix to not have the face that Rooney Bronwyn expected him to have from the letters that they had exchanged. "Sir," he started, finally taking a deep breath. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Hand out to shake, of course.
"I wasn't at all aware that the Minister was going to be here right now. I haven't anything prepared if she approaches me to speak." Did she even know who he was? That he was Rooney Bronwyn who had penned her letters every month since her appointment with his desires and thoughts on all of the things? Did she know that he was Rooney Bronwyn that wrote to her of all people hours after receiving his Head Boy badge last summer? That HE was Rooney Alexander Bronwyn, Head Boy of Hogwarts......... formerly.
Addison was keeping her blue eyes trained on each and every intern that stepped into the area. The one that picked up a badge for her department got a warm smile. "So I do," she replied lightly nodding her head at Lynley. "It seems like one of yours has arrived as well."
Yes! one of hers HAD arrived, and she sent Addison a wry grin as she scooted closer to Penelope. And speaking of her ACTUAL employees, there was Chloe!
SPOILER!!: Chloe

Strange feeling indeed; even more so when she heard talk of the two names who were going to be interning in Magical Transportation. Colt Winchester and Penelope Wright. Penelope she knew a little better, as the girl was only two years younger than herself, not to mention a year younger than Hayley Diggory, who was her housemate. But it was strange to think because they both younger than her, both out of Hogwarts now, and both interning. Hence her feeling old, even though she was merely 23 years young, thank you very much.
"Penelope Wright!" The ginger greeted with enthusiasm upon seeing the female half of the level six interns. "Welcome!" And she probably didn't know her? Oops? "Chloe Adara, A Portkey Manufacturer in the Department of Magical Transportation." And they could chat later? A smile for you, Ms Boss Lady, cause we're here and being welcoming.
"Oh good, you know Penelope?" she asked. "From Hogwarts I suppose?" she asked both the girls with a smile. That'd be nice to the interns, if they both came from Hogwarts, which..she thought she remembered seeing that they had in their files.

Only if they came up to him and forced him to make a conversation, until then he would have to carry on and find his boss. He bumped into a few people and muttered sorry.
He thought he was early but according to this crowd, he was fashionably late. Now the remaining question though was where his boss could be? I mean there seemed to be a lot of bosses talking to their interns. He hoped he could make a good impression.

Not that he expected him to remember herself, but she just had this uncanny knack for recalling even those a few years younger - especially when they were in the same houses as her best friends.
"And you know---" she glanced over and saw the boy, who was also wearing a DMT badge. "Colt. You must be Colt," she said with a small smile. "It's nice to meet you. Lynley would want to get back down to Level 6 soon, sooooOooo hurry up and socialize, little interns.

Not that she really wanted to socialize with her or anyone else here for that matter...
Trying to keep from rolling her eyes, she scanned around the room and her eyes landed on her niece. Oh, right. Archer had told her that Ava had signed up to do this internship thing; really it wasn't a surprise given her rather extroverted nature. Her twin brother obviously hadn't gone for it because he wasn't anywhere to be seen, and it didn't seem to be his crowd. Anyway, she should probably say hi... And before she could stop herself, she was walking right over to her and the people she was with.
"Hello," she said to everyone just to be polite. "It's nice to see you here, Ava. I hope that you enjoy your time at the Ministry." Really she actually did.
Look at Gabby socializing. Wooooow. Lynley smirked as she watched her walk over to a younger girl intern in MLE. She had no clue it was Gabby's niece, so it amused her a LOT that Gabby seemed to be striking up a conversation with a teenager on her own.
Ha.
HA.
She chuckled to herself. Aaaaand she was pleased with her two employees that had come.

Entering the Ministry at first, though, was a little overwhelming, she would admit. But it didn't take too long to figure out where she was going, and now she was here. And a lot of other people were here already too. That was good, yes? Even if it did make the area a little crowded and confusing.
She did spot the table with the goody bags and badges though, and also noticed another somewhat familiar girl with a Mysteries badge (they both went to Hogwarts perhaps?), so she grabbed a bag and the appropriate badge and walked over to her.
"Looks like we'll be in the same department, so might as well stick together, yes?" she said with a smile. Probably would make it easier for their department head to find them if they grouped up. "I'm Priscilla Lovegoods, by the way."
So far all Azura had been doing was standing by a wall and observing people. A soft smile was on her face as she watched her friends, who didn't know she was here. She was going to miss them all. But so far she hadn't told anyone about her transfer yet. She herself had only learned a few days ago after school had ended.
Ahh well, Chris knew. Right now he was the most important thing. A grin came to her mouth and a soft giggle left it before she pulled herself together.
And looked up at the girl who was speaking to her!
Oh!
"Yeah, it looks like it. " She said with a smile, grateful to see someone else working in the Department of Mysteries with her. Her Violet eyes looked up at the older girl, she looked sorta familiar. Had she seen her in the common room at school?
"Azura Kennedy-Snow, it's nice to meet you Priscilla. " She said with a warm smile.

Her american accent probably set her apart from everyone else in the room as she talked to the small group of girls. all girls the thought dawned on her and she thought it was pretty cool that these girls had an interest in Law Enforcement. She remembered being their age and being told that this was something for her brothers to do. Boy did she prove them all wrong.
"Yes, Ms Summers. I believe that means you'll be with our security officers.
It's equally important and prestigious." She didn't want the girl getting discouraged from wanting to join the ranks of the MLE one day. Because even though they were interns now one day they wouldn't be and security was very important. Without it anyone could come in and harm employees or take things from the department of mysteries. ANYTHING could happen without good security. She pointed Summers to the only security officer she could see.
"This way." She led the girls closer. "This is Simon Bennett, He's one of our Security Officers, so you'll be working with him and his team Ms. Summers." Honestly she might get more hands on work than the Auror Girls.
Oh look the Minister.

The security head had turned his head in the direction of the blonde auror who appeared to be trailing interns just as she was making her approach on him. The man turning to full attention as he was introduced. “Hello…Welcome Miss Summers.” Simon greeted with a polite and even friendly smile, listening as Tempest continued to speak. An intern…for him? Simon was mildly confused but he tried not to show it. They had been informed on who was coming and who was getting what and last he checked, no interns were slated specifically for security. It wasn’t like the division had the excitement and publicity the Auror division and others had to entice people to want to join.
“Actually MLES…” he started, taking in the badge for information on where the young woman belonged. “…stands for Magical Law Enforcement Squad which is the Hit Wizards and patrol officers.” More like the aurors than security. Actually went on patrols outside of the building. “Not that I would mind assisting you around and training but a Peyton Stewart would actually be your supervisor,” he informed, his gaze flittering briefly around the room and gathered people. “Though I can’t say I see her around here.” Or any of her division come to think of it.
Which meant he felt unsure what to do. Certainly not just drop off like Tempest.
Ugh. This was boooooooooooooring. Weren't parties supposed to be ... sparkly? Where were the sparkles? There was positively NOTHING here that the sixth year felt worthy of her time to stealthy slip into the pockets of her dress. Not even those goodie bags. Ministry memorabilia? No thanks. They could keep their budget pens and mugs and ghastly t-shirts that didn't glimmer.
Pfft.
Adjusting her PINK badge, Sachiko caught sight of ... what was her name again? That one Ravenclaw girl. Whatever her name was. HER. That one putting on a green badge. Ugh. Competition for top spot on the level? Sachiko was pretty sure she had better cuticles so whatever.
Still, the Slytherin offered a poliiiiiiiiiite smile at her. Which really came off more as an insincere sneer but whatever.
Oh look. There was a woman who OOZED confidence and demanded attention. Heh.
Sachiko supposed she ought to go over and introduce herself and do a little buttering up. Only that proooooobably meant she would have to subject herself to SERVANT like duties. Fetching coffee, fluffing pillow, giving hair advice and whatever. All things that she had always considered below herself and made first years do FOR her. Or daddy because he was totally and completely wrapped around her finger. Tehe.
So ugh. Fine. FIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE. She would...give this a try she SUPPOSED. All for the sake of becoming Ministry Royalty and bragging rights. May as well get SOMETHING out of this BORING experience.
"Good day, Minister," came her force sing-song voice with a sweeeeeeeet smile. "Sachiko Shiradou-Morrison. I've been bestoyed the honor of interning with your office specifically." Although it was REALLY the other way around. She was a gift.
Oh look. There was a former Head Boy. Hmmm. Eh.[/FONT]
Chloe didn't actually notice the other level one intern because she was too busy looking for that telltale green hue that would single her out as a colleague. It was Day 1 and Day 1 Chloe didn't care much for other departments. She had to gain her bearings, figure out her schedule and be prepared to be thrown into the craziness without any warning or much support.
Fraternising with other departments would come later, once she was proper settled.

Eventually, Chloe did notice Sachiko (yes, she knew her name as they went to school together and Chloe made it her business to know things) but only when she approached the Minister. Chloe heard the tail end of their conversation and was confused when she said she would be working with the Minister's Office. Didn't she know she was wearing the wrong pin, then? Non-Ravenclaws made no sense to Chloe. Honestly.
She hung back while Althea was bombarded on all sides by people that apparently wanted to brown nose. And when there was a brief opening, she jumped in, "Hello, ma'am. I don't want to keep you. I imagine you're very busy. But I didn't want to be rude and not say hello."
And a hello was just fine. She wasn't going to rope Althea into some dull conversation and keep her from, WELL, running the Ministry.

Scarlett was SO EXCITED! She had picked out her most professional outfit for her first day on her internship, and she'd even convinced her parents to let her go on a HUGEEEE shopping spree to get new outfits so she'd look SO PROFESSIONAL every day on this job. She felt like she had sooo much to live up to here - her father HAD been Junior Undersecretary at one point. Although she always felt like she had to live up to his reputation.
"Hello everyone! I'm Scarlett!" she exclaimed to the general area as she entered the room. OHMIGOSH. There was the Minister. SO EXCITING!
So she should probably try to find the people from Accidents and Catastrophes...

Carl had done a few volunteering work and summer jobs in the past, but he had never set foot in the Ministry of Magic before. Although he was not sure if he really wanted to work in the Ministry in the future, he thought it would be a good experience to get an internship at a governing body. There would be so much to learn! He was glad he was placed into the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, since he liked caring for animals and he would get to know what it was like working with creatures.
After going through the security checkpoint, the sixteen-year-old made his way toward an area where most people were gathered. This must be where the lunch must be! He remembered reading about this from his department head Becca Yenorin's letter. Speaking of which... he had to find his boss. He picked up a badge and a goodie bag from the table. Holding the bag under his arm, he grabbed a plate of food and looked around the place. He actually did not know what Becca looked like, so it was going to be challenge to find her. However, he found the Minister immediately, having seen a photograph of her from the news. He did not dare approach her - she already seemed so busy and possibly, uninterested in young interns like himself - so he watched as some of the others greeted her, then turned his attention to the crowd.
He saw several familiar faces - most of them seemed to be Hogwarts students or fresh graduates - and decided to socialize a little bit. Walking past people already engaged in conversations, Carl saw his house prefect Etta sitting alone. "Hi, Etta! I didn't know you were interning here... it's great to see you!" He grinned as he sat down next to her. The boy noticed that she had dressed up and could not help but feel self-conscious about his casual choice of outfit. Eh, it was too late to get changed now.
So... apparently, they just had to socialise? Etta looked around, starting to consider the idea of approaching people instead of just sitting by herself. Hey, there was Azura and Noelle.. WAIT. Who was her department head again? Wasn't she supposed to meet her? She sighed and was just about to get up when she almost jumped in surprise.
-- BLINK. "Hey, Carl." She grinned back at him, so happy to see another familiar face. Etta had missed spending time with him honestly but the past year had been super busy and somehow, they never got around to hanging out with each other. "Me neither! I just wanted the work experience, really." She turned to properly look at him, the grin still present on her face. "It's so great to see you. How have you been? Enjoying summer so far?"

Jonah supposed that he should do some socializing, but the thing was that the pretty much failed at it. While at Hogwarts he hadn't made all that many friends, and now he was almost 20 and a lot of the people that he HAD known from school weren't there. That was okay though... he would probably get friendly with the other interns in his department because surely he wasn't going to be the only one in Mysteries. It was during these thoughts that his Department Head came walking over and introduced herself. He smiled. "Yes, I am. It's nice to meet you," he said as he took her offered hand and shook it.

Shaking Jonah's hand, Addison looked him over for a brief moment. He looked like a nice enough young man. Hopefully not one that would cause her department any trouble at all. "It's nice to meet you as well. We'll be heading to the Department of Mysteries shortly, I hope you're ready." She gave him a knowing smile. There was always something happening in Mysteries and she was sure the interns would be learning a great deal.
Speaking of which, there was the ladies now. The blonde smiled spotting the girls with Mystery badges talking with one another. Gesturing for Jonah to come along if he liked she made her way for the girls. "Hello, ladies. I'm Addison Anders, Head of the department of Mysteries. How are you both doing?"
They would be heading downstairs shortly. There was a lot to go over. There wasn't very much that could be said outside the department.

He saw she had his intern badge and he grinned. "Thanks.." He pinned it to his shirt to show which department he worked in. "Have we met before..?" He couldn't remember for the life of him.

Oh, so she and Juno would be with her? That would be interesting. "I'm looking forward for it." She politely nodded. What exactly they're going to do in this internship? The letter that was sent to her didn't really explain her job descriptions or some other stuffs like that. "So... Are we going to expect the Department Head to be here anytime soon?" And probably he would explain their assignment or anything.

Where on earth was Rebecca Yenorin? Wasn't she suppose to greet these ickles, ahem, interns? Also, that woman hadn't mention what would they're going to do with these interns. Fetching coffee and snacks for them? Jordan wouldn't bother to do that because he preferred to brew coffee by himself. Helping with paperwork? Providing the stationary? His inner former professor did hope they would get a good experience and learning much things other than just doing small things like that.
Perhaps he should come closer and greet them. "Fancy to see you here, Ms. Kramer and Mr. Leonard." Or maybe Jordan should refer them as their first name since he's no longer teaching them. "I hope the department head will be here shortly and explaining your task here the interns. And I think there should be another one of you here?" Killian Ryder, right? Where was he?

She was watching the OTHER intern (Rachel) when all of a sudden Olly found herself face to face with a boy. Who just so happened to be the second intern. With a hint of a smile Olly she nodded, briefly glancing around too, in search for their department head. Her eyes were soon back on the boy in front of her, however. "What's your name?" First things first.
He kept his eyes on the woman as she was looking around it seemed then he saw the smile and of course smiled back.
"Oh terribly sorry, my name is Griffin Renzler. It's very nice to meet you.." He hadn't got her name yet, but his manners were always around.
His parents were very strict about being respectful and he felt his twin and himself always were.
Glancing around again he looked back to her, "Have you ever spoken to the minister? She seems very nice." Though he would admit he was a bit intimidated. "What department do you work in?" He figured she worked there since she didn't have the intern badge on, maybe she worked where he was going to be and he was seeming stupid. Griffin tried to straighten up and be more mature than his nineteen years had given him.

That HE was Rooney Alexander Bronwyn, Head Boy of Hogwarts......... formerly.
Rooney, yes that name did hit him as very familiar. Not only was he an intern in Erec's department, but he was the intern that sent him that very well thought out plan and letter after he had recieved his internship letter. Erec stretched out a hand in greeting. "Very nice to meet you as well. You both can just call me Erec. I'm not for the formalities in my department. We work as a team and teams don't typically call each other Mr.
or Miss." He had hoped that would relax them both if they were at all nervous. "Our department is very busy right now with things going on so I'm hoping you are both ready to jump right in."
His eyes moved as he saw Rooney's and gave a small grin. She had been in his letter as well. "Oh yes she wanted this welcome lunch to greet you all. Minister Scabiors was a professor at one point so the youth is very important to her. Come on you both should get a chance to say hello." He turned to get Althea's attention, "Minister Scabiors if you have a second I have two interns I'd like you to meet." He had told Rooney in his letter he'd find sometime for him to meet her so why not let it happen on the first day.
He kept his eyes on the woman as she was looking around it seemed then he saw the smile and of course smiled back.
"Oh terribly sorry, my name is Griffin Renzler. It's very nice to meet you.." He hadn't got her name yet, but his manners were always around.

He figured she worked there since she didn't have the intern badge on, maybe she worked where he was going to be and he was seeming stupid. Griffin tried to straighten up and be more mature than his nineteen years had given him.
Griffin Renzler.
Noted.
"Olly. Olly Clarke." She finished for him, politely offering him her hand to shake. "Pleasure to meet you too." So far this one didn't seem too bad. He had manners at least. Which hopefully meant he wouldn't destroy any of their work or get in the way too much. They'd just have to keep him busy.
Ah yes the minister. Olly nodded slowly, brown eyes briefly drifting over to the woman in question. "Once, yeah." Not for too long though, unfortunately. Olly didn't offer an opinion on her though, not to Griffin here. This wasn't a topic she wanted to discuss with an intern. "I work for the department you're interning in." Olly replied, looking back at him. "I'm a Botanist."
Colt was walking towards a table to sit at and just observe when he heard someone call his name. He turned towards the voice and give the person a quizzical expression. Who could know him? He had been away from Hogwarts for a little bit. He walked over to the girl and she did familiar but the name escapes his foggy memory. "Heyyyy, I put a lot effort into this gelled hair thank you very much.." he touched it to make sure it still kept its shape.
He saw she had his intern badge and he grinned. "Thanks.." He pinned it to his shirt to show which department he worked in. "Have we met before..?" He couldn't remember for the life of him.
After Colt was finished talking to mystery girl, he glanced up and made eye contact with what looked like his boss. The way she was dressed seemed that way. "Oh yeah. Right. That's me. Colt. Colt Winchester." he looked down at his badge. Wait a minute that didn't have his name. He looked up and made eye contact with Lynley and shook her hand firmly. "Hello pleasure to meet you. Excited to work in the transportation department." He was keen on learning about the brooms and how they work.
Lynley knew both her interns' names, and since she had already met Penelope, it only made sense that he was Colt. "You better be excited. We have a busy summer planned for you both." She finished picking off the food on her plate and took one more sip of her drink. "Please, help yourself to some food, both of you. I'll be heading down to Level Six...I'll see you both when we get there." She nodded and ditched her trash in the nearest rubbish bin.
That was enough socializing for today.

Oh dear.
Rachel hoped she hadn't annoyed the Minister with her silly question. In truth, she was in awe of the woman but she was pushing that emotion aside. Thankfully, she was saved by someone. She turned to smile gratefully at him (Griffin). "Hello to you too. Yes, I am.'' Her eyes shone. "Really? That's wonderful. Have you seen any other interns for the department? I'm Rachel Watson and I'm terribly sorry for my rambling.''
It was precisely at that moment that the sixteen year old noted the other pair of eyes on her (Olly). She decided to say hello. "Hello, there. Are you with the Department of Environmental Protection as well?''

Colt nodded and was liking his boss' goal in mind already. That was next on his agenda and he was going to get some food. He looked to his side and he saw his new intern. He figured he would know her name soon enough and nodded towards her. Oooh she was fast this one. She was already heading down to her level? Impressive. He was gonna eat first since his stomach was starving. He felt it caving in. He went to the buffet and helped himself. He got all the food he liked and began to dig in once he found his spot. He would give himself ten minutes before he headed down.
He had the distinct impression his new boss didn't like to socialize much. He didn't blame her though, he didn't either. They might get along just fine. After he finished and felt full, he cleaned up his plate and put it into the trash can and began to descend to level 6 to await his internship.

"Did you choose this department?"
Shaking the woman's hand, he smiled sweetly at her. "This is interesting. Do you have luncheons to greet people all the time?" It was very nice of them, but he was ready to jump into the work. He was always obsessed with Herbology, so the faster they got working the happier he would be.
"A Botanist and how do you like that?." He wanted to know every detail of the ministry and that department so everyone's opinions were things he wanted to hear. "I'm studying Herbology at University. Right now it's just a general study. I wanted to do more ocean specific, but after my accident, I'm not sure anymore. My mother is a marine biologist so I've been interested in that stuff since I was a kid."
Did he mention his parents were muggles? He probably should have.
Mariel continued snacking on the food she had garnered from the buffet set up as more department heads began showing up and the interns started filing in. Circe, some of them were so young. But she thought it good for them to get some sort of experience before they actually came to work here, rather than someone just straight out of Hogwarts.
She knew that she was meant to get two interns for Games and Sports - Dylan Chambers, with who she was already familiar having known her father. She was sure she was the blonde girl who picked up the pink G&S badge and she gave her a small, welcoming smile. And... Azzo Notte? Was that a boy's name or a girl's name? Circe knew, these days. But she noticed a young man taking a pink G&S badge, so she figured that must be him. Until she saw a young woman (Sachiko) taking one as well.
Three...? Was there a last minute change or something that fell through the cracks so she wasn't informed and she actually had three interns? Mariel supposed that was fine, but she wished these badges came with name tags as well.
"Good morning, interns!" She spoke specifically to the three who wore the pink Games and Sports badges, though she was welcoming all the young people to the Ministry today. "I'm Mariel De La Garza, head of the Department for Magical Games and Sports. Please feel free to continue eating the delicious food prepared by our Specialty Department, spend a few minutes getting to know one another, and then please see me in my office on Level Seven for your work assignments." She should probably head over there herself soon.

Melbourne was a little…quiet today, it wasn’t that she didn’t feel like she fit in. No, no she knew that she would. The sixteen year old adjusted the little tag on her shirt and looked around…Colt Winchester was there? She couldn’t help but send the older former head boy a wave.
Of course Ava and Noelle got waves as well. That was like imperative…looked like they were on the same level? Even Scarlett in her festive internship…skirt got a wave. ”Hey Scarlet,” Melbourne grinned as she made her way over closer to the Hufflepuff girl. ”congratulations on accidents and catastrophes!” Melbourne grinned as she indicated with a slight wave of her hand toward the badge she was wearing.

Lynley would want to get back down to Level 6 soon, sooooOooo hurry up and socialize, little interns.

Well, she didn't really know Penelope. Or Colt, for that matter. But she knew of them, and "Yes, from Hogwarts," she beamed over at Lynley. That was the important bit, even if she all she really knew was their names, houses, and that they were both younger than her.
Glancing over at Colt, she nodded at his hair. "Ah yes, I can tell. That effort will be needed later, so make sure to not use it all up on your hair." Well, maybe not, but he didn't need to know what the plans were for the summer.
"Probably not. I was a couple years ahead of you, but I just paid attention well enough in lessons and stuff to recognize names and faces." At least she paid attention to something, right?
And wait, Lynley was heading back to Level six already?? "Okay, I'll be down shortly." Because she probably needed help setting up? OR did she need her to show their interns the way? Maybe the latter was for the best.
Nodding as her boss lady departed, and Colt disappeared to get himself some food, she merely just waited for a moment before noting their male intern was on his way ... by himself. Uh, uh ... she should go then. Without waiting, the redhead headed after him towards the lifts.

Oh!! Now this was the man she needed to be speaking with. MLES meant Magical Law Enforcement SQUAD. Not Security. Brilliant! Noelle's face lit up. "That sounds amazing. have you ever worked with them?" For some reason, his name was ringing a bell inside Noelle's head that she couldn't quite figure out.
"Oh right. Okay." Noelle didn't know who this Stewart lady was. Though there were two Stewart's related at Hogwarts. Maybe she was related to them. "Should I .. just wait around? What does she look like?"

Olly took her hand back and folded them behind her back, leaning against the wall again. "We usually have events at the start of the year to welcome the new employees, yes." Not interns. They'd never had interns before. This was new and she STILL hadn't decided whether or not she liked it. So far so good though. Still. That was as far an assessment she would make. She didn't dislike Griffin.
Nodding she briefly looked around, eyes landing on the other intern before returning to the young man in front of her. "It's always been my passion." That was answer enough, yes? Yes. "So you're more interested in Oceanoizardry then?" Not one of "hers" then. Oh well. As for his accident she didn't feel like it was her place to ask (nor was she particularly curious for now) about what had happened.
Before she got the chance to say more on any of the work they did here in the ministry they were joined by their other intern. (Where was their department head anyway?! Had she been secretly chosen as the welcoming committee without anyone telling her?! Like, they all owed her. ESPECIALLY their department head. She'd have to have a word with him later.)

Azzo was just nibbling on some food and watching everyone. It came as no surprise that he was bored out of his mind. This was not something he found enjoyable and he did not normally like make conversation. The food was good so that was something. He looked at the other two and well did he really have to get to know them. He was up for eating more of the food but eh guess he had to if this was his boss for the time here.
Whatever.
"Yes Ma'am"
What else was he suppose to say.
Does he really have to get to know there two?
